According to the Russian Pravda and the American Journal of Forensic Medicine, the American psychiatrist David Post found that Hitler had received hypnotherapy at the end of the First World War after studying the early medical history of Hitler, the Nazi leader, for many years. David Post believed that it was the early hypnotic therapy that made Hitler really think he was a "man of extraordinary power". It is reported that Dr. David Post is a famous psychiatrist in the United States. He has studied Hitler's early medical history for more than 10 years. Dr. Post believed that it was a German psychiatrist's hypnotic treatment of Hitler in his early years that unintentionally inspired Hitler's "political ambition" and thus unintentionally created a "Nazi devil".

According to many years of research, Post found that at the end of the First World War in 1918, Hitler, who was a German corporal at that time, suffered serious war trauma and was treated in a hospital in Paswerk, Germany. Dr. Carl Kronor, an Austrian neurologist, was one of the doctors in the hospital at that time. After the end of the Second World War, Kronor had been investigated by American intelligence agencies, Recalled the medical history of young Hitler in 1918 to the US intelligence agency. Post found more than ten pages of Dr. Crono's memoirs in the declassified files of the US intelligence agency.

In his memoirs, Dr. Crono said that in October 1918, 29-year-old German Corporal Hitler was attacked by mustard gas in a battle at the Belgian front. His eyes were temporarily blind and he was taken to a military hospital in the town of Paswak for treatment. Hitler's eyes gradually recovered their vision during the treatment, but after hearing the news of Germany's defeat and surrender, Hitler began to complain that his eyes could not see anything.

Dr. Crono recalled that Edmund Forster, a senior psychiatrist in the hospital at that time, concluded that Hitler's blindness was a typical paranoid hysteria. Dr. Forster gave Hitler effective hypnotherapy in November.

Since then, the medical records and medical history of Hitler in the hospital of Paswak town have become a fog. When Hitler came to power in 1933, the Nazi leader ordered his men to destroy all the medical records of Hitler in the hospital of Paswak town. Edmund Foster, the psychiatrist who treated him in the same year, was arrested by Gestapo on the charge of "trying to analyze the state of mind of the head of state to the foreign media", and died in prison 13 days after the detention and interrogation, one said he was killed, the other said he died of suicide.

  据俄罗斯《真理报》和美国《法医学杂志》报道，美国精神病法医学家戴卫·波斯特在对纳粹元首希特勒的早年病史经过多年研究后，发现希特勒在第一次世界大战末期曾经接受过催眠术治疗。戴卫·波斯特认为，正是早年的催眠术治疗使希特勒果真以为自己是具有“超凡力量的人”，德国医生的本意是想治好希特勒的妄想症，没想到却适得其反，创造出了一个自以为是超人的魔鬼。美国历史学家大卫·路易斯根据这种理论撰写的新书《创造希特勒的人》日前已在美国出版。

  据报道，戴卫·波斯特博士是美国著名的精神病法医学家，他对希特勒早年病史的研究已有10多年的历史了。波斯特博士认为，正是一名德国精神病医生早年对希特勒的催眠术治疗无意中激发了希特勒的“政治野心”，从而无意中创造出了一个“纳粹魔鬼”。

  根据多年的研究，波斯特发现，在1918年第一次世界大战末期，当时身为德国下士的希特勒遭遇了严重的战争创伤，在德国帕斯沃克镇的一家医院中接受治疗，奥地利籍的神经科医师卡尔·克罗诺医生当时正是这家医院的医生之一，二战结束后克罗诺曾接受美国情报机构的调查，向美国情报机构回忆了1918年时青年希特勒的治病史，波斯特在美国情报机构的解密档案中发现了克罗诺医生的十多页纸回忆录。

  克罗诺医生在回忆录中称，1918年10月，29岁的德国下士希特勒在比利时前线的一场战役中遭受了芥子气攻击，他的双目暂时失明，被带到了帕斯沃克镇的一家军事医院接受治疗。希特勒的双目在治疗中渐渐恢复了视力，但是在听到德国战败投降的消息后，希特勒又开始抱怨自己的眼睛什么也看不见了。

克罗诺医生回忆称，当时医院中一个资深精神病专家埃德蒙德·福斯特尔断定，希特勒眼睛的再次失明是典型的妄想症癔病，福斯特尔医生在11月为希特勒进行了有效的催眠治疗。
