Mao Zedong: Why Is it called the living Bodhisattva or the savior?

Mao Zedong: Why

Is it called the living Bodhisattva or the savior?

Leaders should care about the masses and their subordinates, otherwise what's the use of your leadership? Mao Zedong's concern for the people moved people to tears: he cared about beggars, patients, and soldiers... until he gave everything to the people of the whole country and established a new China, his people's feelings moved the world. His concern moved the people of the world, and the people of the world said that Mao Zedong was a living Bodhisattva and a great savior. I think it is very correct, because besides this title, what else can be said

------Zhuge Changqing

Mao Zedong once said to He Zizhen, "I'm afraid to hear the cries of the poor people. When I see them crying, I can't help crying." It is true.

After crossing the Yellow River in 1948, Mao Zedong took a jeep from Chengnanzhuang to Xibaipo. The jeep climbed over the mountains and climbed hard on the mountain road. When passing a big mountain ditch with two sides of cliffs, there were shadows in the grass on the roadside. The guards immediately touched the box gun and opened their alert eyes.

As they approached, the guards saw that it was an eight-year-old girl lying on the grass beside a rural woman in her thirties. The car passed by them. The girl's eyes were closed and her face was sallow. The woman sitting beside her was crying. The hands of the guards left the gun. The orphans and widows would never pose a threat. My responsibility is only to protect the safety of the chairman. Don't think about other things. He even sighed with ease.

However, Mao Zedong shouted, "Stop!"

The driver Zhou Xilin stopped the car, and Mao Zedong was the first to jump out of the car. He strode to the woman and the child, touched the child's hand and forehead, and said, "What's wrong with the child?"

"Sick!" The woman burst into tears.

"What disease?"

"Please ask a gentleman to read it. He said that he had a cold and his anger was rising. But it didn't matter if he took the medicine. He was so hot that he talked nonsense. There was only one breath left in the meeting..." The woman sobbed.

Mao Zedong's eyes were red, and he jerked back and looked at the car.

"I'm here," Dr. Zhu said standing beside Mao Zedong.

"See the child quickly."

Dr. Zhu listened with a stethoscope, took his temperature, and then asked the woman about the process of the child's onset

"Is there any help?" Mao Zedong's voice trembled and seemed to carry a heart.

"There is help."

"Well, we must save her!" Mao Zedong immediately released his voice.

"But this medicine..."

"Myrrh?" Mao Zedong was nervous again.

"Yes... there is only one left."

"What medicine?"

"Penicillin."

"Then use it quickly."

"This is an imported medicine. I can't buy it. When you are ill, I can't afford it. It's the last resort... If the central leader is in danger, what can I take to rescue him?"“

Mao Tse-tung did not listen. He became even more angry after hearing the doctor's excuse. He roared loudly and reprimanded like a thunderbolt: "What is the chief? The chief is only a big slap. The soldiers and the people are the foundation of our victory! Now the most important thing is to rescue the patients, and we can't delay for a moment!"

"Now it's the last resort. Please give the child an injection immediately!"

Dr. Zhu injected the penicillin that he had not used for a long time into the sick child. At that time, antibiotics were not as widespread as they are now, so they were very effective. Dr. Zhu had an injection and fed the child water with a kettle. After a short time, the child suddenly raised his eyelids and said softly, "Mother..."

The woman opened her eyes in a daze, and tears flowed down like a stream. Suddenly, he fell down on his knees and cried, "Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva who saved lives!"

Mao Zedong, with tears in his eyes, turned to the doctor and said, "Take the mother and daughter home with the car at the back. Watch again, and come back when the child is fine."

Later, when it came to the child and the tearful mother, Mao Zedong's eyes would always turn red: "I don't know how the child is now? Just bring her for treatment..." He sighed many times: "The farmer is short of medicine, so he can't see a doctor for dozens of miles because he is ill. If he wants to find a way to let the doctor go to the countryside, should he treat the farmer after eating the food planted by the farmer?"

After liberation, in the 1950s and 1960s, Mao Zedong put forward the idea of "putting the focus of medical and health work into the countryside" and called on medical workers to "go to the countryside" in response to the severe situation that the vast majority of rural areas were short of medicine and could not cure diseases at that time. This is consistent with the facts he contacted and observed at that time! One of his fundamental views is that "eating the grain grown by farmers should cure farmers"! At that time, although the national economy was still very backward, the medical conditions of the Chinese people had been greatly improved. The elimination of schistosomiasis and sexually transmitted diseases had led to a remarkable increase in the average life expectancy of the people in the world
