Laozi's Tao Te Ching: What is the way of sage?

Laozi's Tao Te Ching: What is the way of sage?

Sages are selfless and integrate with the universe.

... Zhuge Changqing

The sage Lao Tzu, whose heart is for the world and benefits the common people, has great merit.

Because Lao Tzu's heart is the world, the Tao Te Ching, a treasure of wisdom left by Lao Tzu to mankind, contains the universe and heaven.

Lao Tzu hopes that people will learn from sages and become saints on earth.

So, what is a saint?

Lao Tzu told in many places in the Tao Te Ching.

The sage Laozi mentioned "sage" in many places in the Tao Te Ching, such as:

Chapter 2: "It is to teach the sages to do nothing and to do things without words."

Chapter 3: "It is to rule by sages, empty their hearts and fill their stomachs."

Chapter 5: "The saints are inhumane and take the people as cud dogs."

Chapter 7: "It is to put the sage before his body, and keep his body outside his body".

Chapter 12: "It takes the sage as the belly rather than the object, so go there and take this". (Zhuge Changqing: Lao Tzu pointed out here that saints have the heart of the world. They don't stick to the details of the world of mortals, and don't waste time on material desires)

Chapter 22: "Sages embrace one as the world style".

Chapter 26: "It is the sage who never leaves the baggage all day long. Although there is a view of honor, Yan is detached".

Chapter 27: "The sage is always good at saving people, so there is no abandonment; the sage is always good at saving things, so there is no abandonment". (Zhuge Changqing: Lao Tzu is here to remind people that to learn from sages, we should cherish the world, be merciful, promote the law and benefit life, spread the predestined, and cultivate the hearts of the people)

Chapter 28: "If the sage uses it, he is the official. Therefore, the great system does not cut off."

Chapter 29: "The sage goes to extremes, extravagance and prosperity".

Chapter 47: "It is based on the saints' failure to know, not to see and not to do."

Chapter 49: "Sages have no permanent mind and take the hearts of the people as their heart... Sages are in the world, and She (x) She is in the world. People pay attention to their eyes and ears, and Sages are all children

Chapter 57: "The sage said," I do nothing and the people are self-centered, I am quiet and the people are self-righteous, I do nothing and the people are white and rich, I have no desire and the people are simple. "

Chapter 58: "It is based on the sage's side without cutting, honesty without separation, straightness without boldness, and light without brilliance."

Chapter 60: "Sages do not hurt people."

Chapter 63: "It is because saints are not great at the end, so they can become great... It is because saints are still difficult, so there is no difficulty at the end."

Chapter 64: "It is based on the saints' inaction without failure, and it is based on the saints' desire without loss... It is based on the saints' desire, and it is not expensive and rare goods."

Chapter 66: "It is to treat the people with respect to the saints, and the people with respect to the saints."

Chapter 70: "It is because saints are surrounded by jade."

Chapter 71: "If a saint is not ill, he will not be ill."

Chapter 72: "It is because the sage knows himself but does not see himself. Self-love is not expensive, so go there and take it."

Chapter 73: "Who knows why heaven is evil? It is difficult for saints."

Chapter 78: "It is said by sages that accepting the same filth is the master of the country. Receiving the country's misfortune is the king of the world."

Chapter 79: "It is the sage who holds the left contract without blaming the children."

Chapter 81: "The sage does not accumulate. He thinks that the more he has, the more he has to deal with others. The way of heaven is to benefit without harm. The way of sage is to fight for nothing."

Zhuge Changqing and Laozi repeatedly emphasized the way of sages, hoping that everyone can learn from sages and become sages. Those who are destined to work together!

Don't do any evil, and do all good.

Zhuge Changqing, I wish you success.
