Elder sky changed his fate with wisdom

After learning Buddhism, he suddenly realized that life was created by himself and that life could be changed by itself. I believe, "in the Buddha's sect, everything is granted.". As long as it was a reasonable request, if it was unreasonable, it was not as good as the way to ask. There was no sense. Just like the law, it was not for himself, for the suffering of all living beings, and for the justice to live for a long time. This was bound to be blessed by the Buddha and the Bodhisattva, and supported by the Dragon God. How could he not achieve anything. What the space deployer said made sense

"What is the benefit of wisdom? Cut off all hopes, dispel all interests, and destroy all love.". Let's see these two words. This was to ask what benefits would be gained from the accomplishment of wisdom? What benefits? Master cool used the word "break all hopes" here. It's hard for everyone to understand these two words. In other words, you can understand them easily. This hope was a delusion. After wisdom was activated, the delusion was gone. Look at what the Buddha has often told us. In our nature, we have wisdom, boundless virtue and ability, and we are good friends. What people pursued now was wisdom, ability, and fortune. These three things were what they wanted. These three things, Buddhism, are these three things that teach you how to open wisdom, how to obtain ability, omnipotent, and how to obtain fortune. It was true.

I've taught you a lot about financial products in the University. I've heard that the world famous professor has taught business administration all his life and how to become rich. After I heard it, I have a question. The old professor didn't make a fortune. He could teach students to make money, but he didn't. There was something wrong with it. So it's troublesome to meet a student like me. I don't believe it. So I can teach that course. I'm really rich to teach students, but he can't make money. Why? What he taught was fate. Let me give you an example. He knows how to cultivate plants like us. He knows the techniques of soil, nutrients, and cultivation. He knows these things. Why couldn't he make a fortune? He had no seed.

So she had taught the students and they had learned it. What was the seed? The Chinese knew that it was difficult to be western. Everyone in China knows fate. It depends on fortune. Fortune teller says if you have a fortune teller in your life. There is a treasury in your life, which is the cause and the seed. If you know these skills, it is easy to make money. For example, if you don't have money in your life or a treasury, no matter how much you know, you can only work for others. You can't be a boss or make money; If you help others make money, you can only get a little salary. That's all. You don't have a seed. The reason is here.

I heard an old man in Hongkong tell me that he is very familiar with Mr. [李嘉诚]. He said that they knew Mr. Li when he was young before he was rich. This old man had a good destiny and [李嘉诚] wanted to see him. He just asked Mr. Li, how much wealth do you want in the future? [李嘉诚] told him that I would be satisfied if I could get thirty million dollars. This old man is a fortune teller. He has a lot of money in his life. Tell him that you will be the richest man in Hongkong with more than thirty million in your life. You have a treasury in your life. No matter what kind of business you run, you will make money; You don't have any wealth in your life. You will lose money if you run the same business as him. An ancient Chinese said, "sometimes we have to live, and don't force us to live.". The school doesn't understand this. They think it's superstition. We know it's the truth.

What was the reason of money? There were too many and thorough Buddhist scriptures, and they were all taught by the Buddhist scriptures of major and minor perfection scriptures. The reason for wealth was wealth; The cause of wisdom and the method of imparting power; The reason for good fortune and health and longevity was because of fearless charity. Even Buddha advised people to study hard. I don't have money in my life. When I was young, many people calculated for me. I don't have money in my life, but my life is short. I didn't understand this until I learned Buddhism, just like Mr. Peter. To be honest, the first book I read about Buddhism was the four mortal training. It was a gift from [朱镜宙]. I read it more than 30 times and was very moved. When I was young, many people gave me fortunetelling. My life expectancy was fifty-three years, but not as long as you were forty-five years old. I'm not as lucky as him.

After learning Buddhism, he suddenly realized that life was created by himself and that life could be changed by itself. After knowing this method, he began to learn how to distribute treasures. Charity was not about money. If you had it, you should give it to others. You should live a hard and frugal life. I have been living a frugal life since I was a child. So when I was studying Buddhism in Taiwan, my living expenses were handled by the government of the gongs. I lived in the gongs and had dormitories; I decide that my pocket money will not exceed twenty dollars a month. I don't have much money. I buy books and like reading less than two hundred dollars. I'll give it to others after I finish reading. Here are financial and magic gifts; The content of the book was law, and what he bought with money was money. Vincent, I'm giving medicine. No matter how much it is, I'll go to the hospital to donate some money for the medical fees to help the sick. So as soon as I arrived here, I also paid for the medical treatment in the hospital.

Only a few people in the world knew that giving medicine could lead to a healthy and long life. How many people have to save a sum of money when they are young? When he was old, he would have to pay for living expenses, and if he was not in good health, he would have to pay for medical treatment. Where has he put the money? He is ready to be old and sick. You can see that he is thinking of old. How can he not be old when thinking of illness? How could he not be sick? He had to pay that money in that way. I have donated all my money for retirement and medical treatment. How about giving it to the doctor? I can't be old, I can't be sick, and I don't have medical fees. Karma was a karma.

It has been fifty years since I learned Buddhism. I have been doing charity for fifty years. Today I have such a little fortune that I can establish a Taoist temple in many parts of the world. This is something I can't even dream of. I didn't expect such a scripture to be so long. I couldn't imagine it. Four hours a day, ten years. Now it seemed that it would indeed take ten years. It was the most conservative estimate. So, after learning Buddhism, I know that Buddhism can teach us not to be old or sick. In the end, I often say that we won't die, which is the real benefit. We don't need property, but we can make a decision on material life. It's true that we can get what we want and whatever we want.

We have been together for at least twenty-five years. Twenty-five years ago, we had imagined that if there was a satellite TV station with a special channel, the whole world would be able to watch the lecture every day. There's no need for us to ask for a Dao field. Just a studio is enough. We can learn together and teach the students who are interested in teaching all over the world. We have thought about it for more than 20 years, at least twenty-five years. I didn't expect this matter to be achieved this year. In Buddhist doctrine, this was taught to me by Master Zhang. Master Zhang taught me, "in the Buddha's sect, if there is a request, there is always a way." then he added a note to me. When you have a request or not, at this time you have a karma. If you can remove the barrier, then what you want will come true. We have this wish. In the past more than 20 years, we have a barrier. Think about it. Now that this barrier is removed, this wish is actually realized.

What I want to ask is what kind of karma is? At that time, karma was caused by our character and intelligence. If someone helped us with a TV channel at that time, we would be exhausted. How could he deal with it? How could he handle it twenty-four hours a day. There's no problem with her doing this this year. I estimate that she can play these videos that we have kept for so many years without a break twenty-four hours a day, at least two years. We have so many applications and stored things here. Now we still have four hours to replenish them every day. It meant that fate was ripe and natural.

Therefore, it was wrong to have an illusion. You should take actions to realize your wish. I thought that these things would surely spread on satellite and Internet in the future. I didn't expect that I could see them in my life. I always thought that maybe after I was born, people would do it. But I didn't expect that I would see it now. So I believe what the teacher said to me, "in the Buddha's family, everything is granted.". As long as it was a reasonable request, if it was unreasonable, it was not as good as the way to ask. There was no sense. Just like the law, it was not for himself, for the suffering of all living beings, and for the justice to live for a long time. This was bound to be blessed by the Buddha and the Bodhisattva, and supported by the Dragon God. How could he not achieve anything.

Some people in the world couldn't get what they wanted. That was because he was unreasonable. Why? He was selfish. His wish was to satisfy his desire. He didn't have sex virtue, but he had trouble. Just like worries, how could Buddha help you increase your worries? It was impossible. The Buddha will help you stop worrying, not help you increase your worry. We have to understand that we won't sense any hope that will increase our worries.

   ......学佛之后才恍然大悟，命是自己造的，命可以自己改。我相信，“佛氏门中，有求必应”。只要是如理如法的希求，如果是无理的求，不如法的求，这是没有感应的。如理如法，不为自己，为苦难众生，为正法久住，这是肯定得到诸佛菩萨加持，龙天善神拥护，哪有不成就的道理。净空法师说得很有道理......

   “智成何益，断诸希望，惑除何益，灭诸爱着”。我们看这两句。这是问智慧成就有什么好处？有什么利益？清凉大师在此地用的这个词是“断诸希望”。这两个字大家不好懂，我把它换句话说你就好懂，妄想，你就好懂。这个希望是妄想，智慧开了之后，妄想没有了。你看看佛常常给我们说的，我们自性里头本有的般若智慧，本有的无量德能，本有的相好。现在人追求的，求智慧，求能力，求福报（相好就是福报），求这三样东西。这三样东西，佛教你就是这三样东西，教你怎么开智慧，怎么样获得能力，无所不能，怎么样能够得到福报。真的不是假的。

　　大学里面经济工商这些科系，教你许许多多理财的方法。我也听人说过，这世界上有名的教授，一生教工商管理，怎么样致富之道。我听了之后，我有一个疑问，这老教授没发财。他能够教学生发财，他自己不发财，这个东西有问题。所以碰到我这样学生就麻烦了，我就不相信。所以，那个课程我可以去教，我教学生还真发财，他教学生发不了财。什么原因？他所教的在佛法讲统统是缘。我举个比喻来说，像我们种植物，他懂得栽培，这一套技术他懂得，知道土壤、肥料、培养的技术，知道这些东西。他为什么发不了财？他没有种子。

　　所以教学生，学生都学了，种子是什么？这中国人知道，西方人比较困难。中国人都知道命运，看相算命，算命说你命里头有没有财库。命里头有财库，那是因，那是种子，你要懂得这些技术，那是很容易发财。如原因、果命里头没有财，没有财库，这些东西懂得再多，你只能替别人打工，你当不了老板，发不了财；你帮助别人发财，你只能拿一点工资，就如此而已。你没有种子，道理在此地。

　　我在香港听到有个老先生告诉我，他跟李嘉诚先生很熟。他说李先生没发达之前，年轻的时候他们就认识，这个老先生命相风水很高明，李嘉诚找他看。他就问李先生，你将来希望有多少财富你就满足了？李嘉诚告诉他：我能够有三千万（那是讲的港币），我就很满足了。这个老先生给他算命，他命里头财库很大，告诉他不止三千万，你将来是香港首富，命里头有。命里头有财库，无论你经营什么事业，你都发财；命里头没有财富，你跟他经营一样的事业，你会赔本。中国古人说得很好，“命里有时终须有，命里无时莫强求”。学校不懂这个道理，学校认为这是迷信，我们了解这是事实真相。

　　财的因是什么？佛经上讲得太多，讲得太透彻了，大小乘经教里佛统统都讲。财富的因是财布施；智慧的因，法布施；福报的因，健康长寿的因是无畏布施。佛讲布施都劝人要认真学。我命里头没有财，我年轻的时候也有很多人给我算命，命里头没有财富，命里头是短命，我是学了佛之后才明白这个道理，就跟了凡先生一样。实在讲，我接触佛法第一部读的书就是《了凡四训》，朱镜宙老居士送给我的，我读了三十多遍，非常感动。了凡先生的寿命五十三岁，我年轻的时候很多人给我算命，我的寿命四十五岁，还没有了凡先生那么长。他的福报超过我，我不如他。

　　学佛之后才恍然大悟，命是自己造的，命可以自己改。懂得这个方法之后，就学财布施。财布施不在财多少，有就布施，自己生活刻苦一点，节俭一点。过清苦节俭的生活，这是我从小养成的。所以在学佛这个阶段当中，当年在台湾，我的生活费用，那个时候在公家机关做事情，吃、穿、住都由公家，有宿舍，这个不要花钱；我的零用钱每个月决定不会超过二十块钱。我的收入不多，不到两百块钱，全都买书，喜欢读书。我布施，我书读完之后送给人，这里头是财布施、法布施；书里头内容是法，这拿钱买的是财。无畏布施，我布施医药，不管钱多少，我都会到医院捐一点钱做医药费，帮助病苦的人。所以我一到此地，我也在医院布施医药费。

　　布施医药，果报是健康长寿，这个道理世间人知道的不多。你看多少人在年轻的时候就要储存一笔钱，作为什么？养老，将来老的时候做生活费用，身体不好，做医药的费用。他已经把钱储在哪里了，准备自己老，准备自己病，你看他这个念头就想到老，想到病，他怎么会不老？他怎么会不生病？他那个钱就要那样支付。我这个养老的钱、看病的钱统统捐出去了，捐出去果报怎么样？我不可以老，我不能生病，我生病没有医药费。果报，种什么样的因，就得什么样的果报。

　　从学佛到今天五十年了，五十年财布施，今天有这么一点福报，能够在世界许多地方建立道场，这都是我作梦都想不到的。我也没有想到这样的经典，这一部经典细讲能够讲得时间讲这么长，都不是自己想象得到的。一天讲四个小时，讲十年，现在看这个样子，的确是要十年，最保守的估计。所以，学佛之后我才知道，佛法可以教我们不老、不病，最后我常说不死，这是真实利益。我们不需要财物，但是物质生活决定不会缺乏，真的，中国人所讲的心想事成，想什么，这个事情就成就。

　　你看我们这大概总有至少有二十五年了。二十五年之前，我们就想象，如果能有一个卫星电视台，有一个专用的频道，每一天在这上讲经，全世界的人都能够收看，这就是大道场。何必要什么道场，一个摄影棚就够了，对全世界爱好经教的同修，我们能够在一起学习，现在的远程教学。我们想了二十多年，至少有二十五年，今年这个事情居然成就了，我意想不到。佛法讲，这是从前章嘉大师教给我，章嘉大师教我，“佛氏门中，有求必应”，然后又给我加了个注解，当你有求没有应的时候，这个时候你有业障。你能把业障消除，障碍没有了，你所求愿就能现前。我们有这个愿心，这二十多年有业障，想想真的，现在这个业障消除了，这个愿望居然就实现了。

　　我要问的是业障到底是什么？业障是在那个时候我们的德行、我们的智慧还不够。真的，如果那个时候就有人帮助，给我们一个电视频道，大概会累死了。怎么能应付？一天二十四小时，怎么能应付的了。今年她搞这个没有问题了，我们这么多年来保留的这些录相带，我估计她每一天二十四小时不中断的播放，至少可以播放两年。我们有这么多软体在此地，有这么多储存的东西在这里，现在我们每天还有四小时不断的在补充。这是说缘成熟了，水到渠成。

　　所以有愿不能够有妄想，妄想决定是错误的。有愿，你要有行动去实现你的愿望。我想到了，将来这些东西一定会在卫星、网际网路上传播，我没有想到的我自己有生之年能看到。我总以为大概我往生之后，后人会做，没有想到的是现在这个事情居然能让我看见。所以老师给我讲的话我相信，“佛氏门中，有求必应”。只要是如理如法的希求，如果是无理的求，不如法的求，这是没有感应的。如理如法，不为自己，为苦难众生，为正法久住，这是肯定得到诸佛菩萨加持，龙天善神拥护，哪有不成就的道理。

　　世间一些人所求不能满愿，那是他不如理，为什么？他自私自利，他的求愿是要满足他的贪嗔痴慢，他不跟性德相应，他跟烦恼相应。跟烦恼相应的，佛菩萨哪里会帮你增长烦恼？这不可能的。佛菩萨会帮助你断烦恼，不会帮助你增长烦恼。凡是增长烦恼的那些希求，不会有感应的，这个道理我们要懂。
