Those who recite the name of Avalokitesvara should have a great feeling and a small feeling. There is no reason why they should not. To recite the name of Bodhisattva, you should seek it with a pure heart, not with a delusional desire.

The signs of induction are as follows: First, show the feeling and show the response: if the present life is dedicated to the gift, that is, to be blessed, to turn bad luck into good luck, to turn bad luck into good luck, and to eliminate the obstacles, and to increase the wisdom and brightness of the future. 2、 Meditation and Meditation: For example, in the past life, I have practiced wholeheartedly, and I have not practiced in this life, but I am protected by the good root, and I unknowingly destroy the good fortune. However, if you have a bad heart, you can only plant the root of the good in the future, but you can't feel it now. Because Buddha and Bodhisattva are all good minds and never evil minds. If you don't change your bad heart and hope to use the holy name of Guanyin to achieve your own bad deeds, you decide not to feel it, and you can't escape the consequences of bad karma. At present, the world is full of natural and man-made disasters, unpredictable, nuclear destruction, and especially terror. What is the cause and the result? Huayan Sutra said: 'Five turbid beings, do not practice ten good deeds, specialize in evil deeds, kill and steal evil and lewd, talk falsely, speak evil words and two tongues, covet and hate evil opinions, be unfilial to their parents, disrespect the three treasures, and fight bitterly with each other to destroy and humiliate each other.' Since we are called by our own evil deeds, we should turn from our own good deeds. Therefore, we should turn our karma from heart to heart, and seek our own blessings.

It is generally advised that compatriots at home and abroad should immediately change their minds to change evil, move from good to self-interest, and sincerely recite the holy names of Amitabha Nanwu and Avalokitesvara Nanwu to eliminate evil karma. No matter men, women, old and young, rich and poor, rich and poor, whether they can be sincere, there must be a sense, and there will never be any disaster or danger. If nuclear air attack, or taking a car, boat, or plane, all kinds of dangers, or flood, fire, drought, wind disaster, prison grievance, disease, evil, dystocia, blood avalanche, and all kinds of disasters; Please recite the holy name of Avalokitesvara, that is, to be rescued, to turn the crisis into safety, because the Bodhisattva is very compassionate and willing, to be merciful for the Buddha, to save the suffering, even if the karma is difficult to turn, and lose life, you can also rely on the mercy of the Bodhisattva to lead you to the ultimate bliss of life, that is, life and death, eternal rebirth, natural clothing and food, and unlimited happiness and longevity. The strange disease suddenly recovered

General Lu Guozhen, the former commander of the Kaohsiung Fortress in Taiwan, also studied Buddhism, but his wife Lu Huang Yimin, who was influenced by the new education, always believed that Buddhism was superstitious, and of course would not believe in the inspiration of the Bodhisattva, but because of the compassion of the Bodhisattva, she saved her and made her not convert to the Three Treasures.

Mrs. Lu was in the home of a military leader and suddenly suffered from a strange disease, which was unbearable. At that time, she fell down on the bed and screamed loudly. She could not get out of the bed, let alone get on the bus. As a result, she had no choice but to find a big truck and carry the bed and people onto the truck. When she was sent to the hospital, the doctor gave her an anesthetic and made her unconscious, so she was transferred from the bed to the hospital bed.

After more than three months, it didn't work at all. Ms. Zhang Qingyang, the wife of General Sun Liren, advised her to recite Avalokitesvara from the standpoint of a friend. She only followed the kindness of her friend and chanted the holy name piously. Who knows that it turned light, and the day after tomorrow, I recited the Buddha, and I really recovered. Mrs. Lv was so surprised that she told a military leader about it. The leader thought that this was her Buddhist worship movement, which made her recover from the disease. This sentence was quite 'reasonable' and made Mrs. Lv lose confidence. She returned to Kaohsiung, suffered from the original disease, and went to the hospital every day for electrotherapy, but there was no way to recover. After that, she was persuaded by Mrs. Sun to convert to Buddhism in Fengshan Lotus Community, and recited the holy name piously. One night, I dreamed that I came to the Lotus Club to attend a Buddhist prayer meeting. A woman handed her a glass of water to drink. The woman told her that if she drank it, she would recover. She drank it joyfully. It was a dream not to wake up. It was incredible to say that Mrs. Lu recovered from her serious illness without medicine. (Guidelines for sick patients)

The husband and wife were rescued together

Zhong Lingyu and his wife, the head of the general affairs department of Yuemei Sugar Factory in Houli Township, Taichung, have been suffering from strange serious diseases in the past, and Chinese and Western medicine are helpless. Mr. Zhong could not move in March. His stool and urine were all on the bed. He broke three mattresses, and his buttocks were rotten. He died for three days. The landlord repeatedly urged him to deal with the aftercare. All relatives and friends of the whole family are deeply distressed that it is impossible to see someone dead, but his mother and his wife kneel down in front of Guanyin Bodhisattva every day and beg for the mercy of Guanyin Bodhisattva. As a result, Mr. Zhong was cured by the Bodhisattva, but was reborn without medicine, and recovered to health. Therefore, the Chinese and foreign medical circles were amazed and unanimously praised the inconceivability of Buddhism.

Mrs. Zhong was seriously ill when she gave birth to her fifth son, and was sent to the railway hospital. The hospital thought it was incurable, so she was moved to the morgue to wait for death. According to her own words, the people who suffered from the same disease as her in the morgue, even four people who went into the morgue, suffered from the same disease, and two people died in two days. At this time, only one sentence in her heart, 'Avalokitesvara', was recited silently, At the same time, the whole family asked for the mercy of Bodhisattva to save them. Strangely enough, she was the only one who recovered from the death of the other three people. (Guidelines for sick patients)

The blind man should see the light again

Not long ago, there was a monk who was blind in Changzhou Tianning Temple at the middle of the Beijing-Shanghai Road. Of course, he felt inconvenient and painful everywhere. Later, the abbot of the temple taught him to worship the Buddha every day, recite the holy name of "save the poor and save the poor" for a thousand times, and recite the Dharma Hua Sutra, the universal product of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. After a long time, he must be able to see the light again. But the blind monk, who had difficulty in learning to recite, only learned the four verses in the general product:

Clean, clean, bright, bright, and bright. The sun breaks through all the darkness. It can subdue disasters, wind, fire, and light the world

This monk who has been blind for many years, according to the words of the abbot monk, concentrated every day and recited devoutly. After several months, he suddenly saw the sun again one day and broke all obstacles. This person is still alive, which is the fact that I saw with my own eyes. (Guidelines for sick patients)

Broken legs heal without medicine

A Buddhist monk Xu Xingfu (who has become a monk in Taiwan) was knocked down by a truck in Shanghai, fell on a circuit lamppost, and broke both legs. He was treated in Shanghai hospital for several months, but could not be cured. Later, he was transported back to the Shen family home to recuperate, unable to move all day long, suffering very much. Fortunately, his family believed in Buddhism. His mother, his sister, and his wife, etc., worshipped the Buddha every day and made a vow in front of the Buddha. At the same time, they also asked him to read Avalokitesvara, He can only meditate on the holy name with one heart to eliminate karma. One day, the Bodhisattva showed a woman wearing black clothes and blue cloth on her head. In the dream, she taught him to stretch out her feet and touch the wound for him. She was in great pain. She woke up from the dream with pain. She saw nothing and felt that her legs could move. He didn't believe it yet. She deliberately stretched her feet straight and felt no pain. Only then did he know that the two broken legs that had not been cured in the hospital for several months had been cured by the Bodhisattva, which made him feel very happy and grateful. The next day, his wife still sent the basin of water to the bed to wash his face. He lifted the quilt out of the bed and ran out of the door to urinate. His wife was frightened and shouted, 'Don't run! Can't run! ' At this time, the whole family came out to see him. They thought he was crazy, so they helped him quickly. I was afraid that he could not stand steadily and fell down. After he explained that Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared in the night dream to cure his illness, everyone knew that his illness had healed without medicine. Therefore, he took a vegetarian diet all his life and chanted Buddha in order to repay his kindness. (Guidelines for sick patients)

The original name of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is Avalokitesvara, transliterated in Sanskrit as "Avalokitesvara" or "Avalokitesvara". Together with Manjusri, Samantabhadra and Dizang Bodhisattva in Chinese Han temples, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is known as the four major Bodhisattvas. In the Buddhist scriptures, Guanyin is called the merciful Bodhisattva. As long as the suffering beings recite their name sincerely, "Guanyin Bodhisattva can immediately observe their sound, and all will be relieved", which is the name.

Avalokitesvara was born on February 19 of the summer calendar, Nirvana Day is September 19, and Chengdao Day is June 19. These three days are important dates for pious believers to burn incense and offer sacrifices. Guanyin is also called Guanshiyin, Guanzi, Guangshiyin, etc. In Buddhism, he is the first Bodhisattva under the seat of Amitabha, the leader of the Western world, and is the threatening Bodhisattva beside Amitabha, together with the Bodhisattva of the Great Power.

Guanyin Bodhisattva is the most popular and widespread belief among Chinese people. Among various Buddhist images or statues, the image of Guanyin Bodhisattva is also the most common, with a wide variety and great changes. Therefore, Avalokitesvara is listed separately.

When all living beings in the world encounter various difficulties and disasters, as long as they believe in Avalokitesvara and recite the name of Avalokitesvara, then he will "observe its sound" and come to rescue, so that the suffering creatures can get out of trouble immediately, so the name of this Bodhisattva is called "Avalokitesvara".

诚心念观世音菩萨圣号的神奇感应

     念观音名号者，大感则大应，小感则小应，绝无不应之理，念菩萨名号要以清净心去求，不可以用妄想多欲之心去求。

       因感应之迹有：一、显感显应：如现生竭诚礼念，即蒙护祐，逢凶化吉，遇难成祥，及业消障尽，福增慧朗。二、冥感冥应：如过去生中曾修竭诚礼念等行，今生虽还未修习，但由宿善根，得蒙护佑，不知不觉祸灭福来。惟存不善之心，虽竭诚礼念，仅能略种未来善根，不得现时感应，因佛菩萨皆是成就人之善念，绝不成就人之恶念，若不发改恶迁善的心，希望念观音圣号求己之恶事成就，决定不会感应，并且难逃恶报之果。我们目前世界上天灾人祸，变幻莫测，核子毁灭，恐怖尤甚，以何因缘，招是果报？华严经曰：‘五浊众生，不修十善，专造恶业，杀盗邪淫，妄言绮语，恶口两舌，贪嗔邪见，不孝父母，不敬三宝，更相忿争，互见毁辱。’既由自作恶业所召，当由自作善业可转，故曰业由心转，福自己求，祸福不离方寸。

      普劝中外同胞，请即发改恶迁善自利利人之大心，竭诚礼念南无阿弥陀佛及南无观世音菩萨圣号，以消恶业，无论男女老幼，贫富贵贱，果能至诚，定有感应，决不会有任何灾祸危难。若核子空袭，或乘车船飞机，种种危险，或遇水火旱风灾，刑狱冤屈，疾病邪魔，难产血崩，种种灾祸；请专念观音圣号，即蒙救护，转危为安，因菩萨悲愿甚切，代佛垂慈，救苦救难，纵定业难转，丧失生命，亦可仗菩萨慈力接引，往生极乐，即了生死，永脱轮回，衣食自然，福寿无量。而又生死自如，再返娑婆，广度众生，同生西方，共成佛道。(林园佛堂編著)

 怪病霍然而愈

     台湾前高雄要塞司令吕国桢将军，对佛教亦有研究，惟他的夫人吕黄义民，受了新式教育的影响，向来认为佛教为迷信，当然更不肯相信菩萨的灵感了，可是由于菩萨的慈悲，挽救了她，使她不得不皈依三宝。

    吕夫人某次在某军事领袖家中，突然患起奇症，痛苦得无法忍受，当时即倒在床上，悲号狂叫不已，连床都下不来，更不能上汽车，结果无策，只好找来一部大卡车，连床带人一并抬上大卡车。送到医院，经医生打过了麻药，使她昏迷，才算从床上把她移到医院的病床上去。

    经过三个多月，根本无法见效，孙立人将军夫人张清扬女士以朋友的立场劝她念观音菩萨，她也只有遵循朋友的善意，虔诚的念圣号。谁晓得竟即转轻，后日日念佛，果然恢复健康。吕夫人惊喜万分，乃将这事告诉某军事首长，这位首长认为这是她拜佛运动，乃使病转愈，这句话说得颇为‘合情合理’又使吕夫人减低了信心，她回到高雄，原病又发，天天到医院中去电疗，始终没有办法痊愈，后又经孙夫人劝导来凤山莲社皈依了佛教，虔诚的拜佛诵念圣号。某一夜梦见来莲社参加念佛会，一女士执一杯水交她喝下，此女士并告诉她如喝下去病即可转好。她很欢喜的喝下去了，不觉醒来乃是一梦，说起来真不可思议，吕夫人大病不药而愈。（病患者的指南）     

     夫妇同蒙救护

     台中后里乡月眉糖厂总务课长钟灵毓夫妇，过去都曾得到过奇怪的重病，中西医束手无策。钟先生在床三月不能动弹，大小便都在床上，烂破了三条垫被，臀部皮都烂掉了死去三天，房东一再催促，办理后事。全家各亲友一致衷痛，见人已死去，起死回生已不可能，但他的母亲和他的太太每天在观音菩萨面前跪拜，求观世音菩萨慈悲救护，结果钟先生经菩萨救治，不药而重生，并且恢复了健康，因此而引起了中外医学界的啧啧称奇，一致称赞佛法的不可思议。

       钟太太在她生第五个儿子时得了重症，送到铁路医院去住院，院方认为这是不可救药的，乃把她移到太平间去等死，据她自己说：在太平间中与她患同样病的人，连她进去有四个人，都是患上同症，两天之中死去两个人，她这时心中只有一句‘救苦救难观世音菩萨’默诵著，同时全家都求菩萨慈悲拯救。奇怪得很，其他的三个人都死去了唯有她一人病好了。（病患者的指南）

        瞎子竟重见天日

     不多久以前，在京沪路中点的常州天宁寺有位双目失明的出家人，当然，处处都感到不方便，痛苦万分，后来经寺内住持和尚教导他每天拜佛，念诵‘救苦救难大慈大悲观世音菩萨’圣号一千声，诵法华经观世音菩萨普门品，日子久了，一定可以重见光明。但失明的出家人，学诵困难，仅学念了普门品中的四句偈语：

无垢清净光   慧日破诸闇 能伏灾风火 普明照世间

    这一位失明多年的出家人，依了住持和尚的话，每天专注，一心一意的在虔诚的念诵，经过数月的时间，一天忽然重见天日，破除一切障碍。此人仍活在人间，是我亲眼所见的事实。（病患者的指南）

     断腿不药而愈

     有一位徐性甫居士，（现已在台出家）他在上海被大卡车撞倒，摔在电路灯杆上，把两腿都打断了，在上海医院治疗数月，始终无法治好，后来把他运回沈家家中静养，终日不能动弹，痛苦非常，所幸他家全信佛，他的妈妈和他姐姐以及妻子等，每天在佛前拜佛许愿，同时也叫他自己念观音菩萨，他也惟有一心的默念圣号以消业障。有一天，菩萨示现一个女人，身穿黑服，头顶蓝布，梦中教他把两脚伸出，替他抚摩伤处，痛苦万分，从梦中痛醒，一无所见，觉得两腿能够移动，他自己还不相信，故意把脚直伸著，毫不觉痛，他这时才知道数月以来医院治不好的两只断腿，已被菩萨治好，真使他欢喜得心痒难抓，感激得热泪直流。第二天，他的太太把面盆水仍然送至床前给他洗脸，他把被单一掀下床就跑出去门外大小便，把他太太吓慌了，连喊：‘不能跑！不能跑！’这时全家都出来看他，以为他疯了，赶紧扶住他，恐怕他站立不稳倒下来，经过他说明夜梦观世音菩萨现身治病的事，大家才知道他的病已不药而愈了，因此他终身吃素念佛，以报佛恩。（病患者的指南）

      观世音菩萨本名观世音，梵语音译为"阿那婆娄吉低输"或"阿婆卢吉低舍伐罗"，与我国汉族寺庙中的文殊、普贤和地藏菩萨一起，并称为四大菩萨。在佛经中，称观音为大慈大悲的菩萨，受苦受难的众生，只要诚心诚意地念诵其名，"观世音菩萨即时观其音声，皆得解脱"，其名即由此而来。

       观音生于夏历二月十九，涅槃日是九月十九，成道日是六月十九。这三个日子都是虔诚的信徒大事烧香供奉的重要日期。观音又作观世音、观自在、光世音等。在佛教中，他是西方世界教主阿弥陀佛座下的上首菩萨，与大势至菩萨一起，是阿弥陀佛身边的胁侍菩萨。

        观音菩萨在中国民间受到最普遍、最广泛的信仰，在佛教各种图像或造像中观音菩萨的像也最为常见，而且种类繁多，变化也极大。因此观音菩萨单独列出。

       当世间众生在碰到各种困厄灾难时，只要信奉观世音菩萨，诵念观世音菩萨名号，这时他就会“观其音声”而前来解救，使受难众生即时得以脱困，所以这位菩萨的名号就称为“观世音”。
