       据估算，除了为慈善组织筹款所进行的演讲外，克林顿卸任后在国内外演讲的个人收入接近4000万美元。

       就连克林顿自己也不无得意地说，他在离开白宫时背了一屁股债，但现在已成了一个“千万富翁”了！

        平均一天一次演讲 　　

        据美国《华盛顿邮报》报道，收入是根据其妻子、决定参加美国2008年总统大选的参议员希拉里最近申报的家庭财产及有关采访推算出的。据统计，克林顿在过去一年中共演讲了352次，接近平均每天一次。不过，这些演讲有些是没有酬金的，而有偿演讲的收入也只有大约20％被克林顿收入私囊，其余资金主要捐给非赢利性的克林顿基金会。该基金会是克林顿卸任后成立的一个非政府组织，目前已经与非洲、亚洲等地区的50多个国家合作开展艾滋病治疗和关怀活动。

      一次演讲收入 接近总统一年薪俸 　　

        据悉，克林顿每次演讲的报酬通常高达15万美元。他在加拿大一天中的两次演讲更是创下纪录，共计收获47.5万美元，是其当总统时20万美元年薪的两倍多。看来，对口才超好的克林顿来说，靠演讲赚钱的确是太容易了。某次在肯塔基州向一批友好的听众演讲时，克林顿忍不住自夸道:“在白宫时我可没(靠演讲)得一分钱，但现在我已经是千万富翁了，我现在成了美国最受欢迎的人”。实际上，克林顿主宰白宫的8年做的是“赔本买卖”，受“白水事件”和莱温斯基案高额法律诉讼费的拖累，离任时克林顿夫妇一共背上了1200万美元的债务。

       演讲对象主要是大公司 　　

         克林顿的演讲收入主要来自国内一些大公司和在国外的演讲。其中，在国外的演讲为克林顿赚了160万美元。在美国国内公司中，投资界巨头高盛集团在过去几年中曾4度邀请克林顿前往演讲，并为此向他支付了65万美元的报酬。此外，花旗集团也曾为克林顿的一次演讲支付了25万美元。　　

        根据希拉里最新的财产申报文件，在还清此前的债务后，其家庭财产目前在1000万至5000万美元之间。美国媒体预计，雄厚的“家底”无疑可为希拉里竞选总统助一臂之力。
