My experience of releasing life to change my luck

This is the personal experience of Chen Xu's friend, and practice has proven that releasing life is, indeed, a good way to change one's fate.

On New Year's Day 2006, I summed up my three years' experience of studying Buddhism. I only recited the Maitreya Sutra, only Amitabha Buddha, and concentrated on the practice, so I got the benefits very quickly. I was also lucky that I didn't practice in a different way from the beginning, just listened to the old masters and recited one sutra and one Buddha's name. That's why when I had been studying Buddhism for three months the year before last, a fellow Buddhist who had been studying for 20 years came to ask me for advice and didn't believe I had only been studying Buddhism for three months.
I. The obstacles to releasing raw materials are getting smaller and smaller
Chanting the Buddha's name is a positive practice, and releasing raw materials is a helpful practice. It is a dual practice. I have had too many inspirations from my own release, so here are some of them for your benefit. In 2003, I released a lot of beings from the Yangtze River in Nanjing to the West Lake in Hangzhou, and then to the Pearl River in Guangzhou, and also to the sea in Shantou (I don't know the name). In 2003, I started releasing 100 RMB once a month, and now I release several hundred RMB twice a week. The money is getting bigger and bigger, and so is the release. The obstacles are also getting smaller and smaller. Three years ago, I did not have the money to release the animals; sometimes I did not have the time; sometimes my family did not agree; and I could not buy the right animals to release, often I brought 1000 yuan to buy only ten or eight pounds of loach, but I could not buy other animals because they had different habits and were not easy to release. It was a long way to travel, and it took a lot of time. But now I can just take a car to Huangsha Pier and I can get as many loaches as I want, next to the Pearl River, and someone will help me push them there with a cart. I was bragging to my girlfriend, "See, this is probably called "releasing life without hindrance"." There are still times when many of my work colleagues still ask me about releasing some of my animals, but still don't do it. I really want to grab their hands and take them to release them, and tell them, "You'll know if you do it once.
II Too many inspirations for releasing raw materials
After I started releasing raw materials, once my girlfriend dreamed that a turtle wanted to give us a good son; another time I dreamed that a turtle in the supermarket wanted me to go and save him; another time I bought bullfrogs and left them at home overnight without releasing them, and one died and I dreamt of killing someone that day; another time after I released 300 catties of small loaches at the biggest time, I started to sleep only four to six hours a day without getting sleepy; another time I came back from releasing raw materials After chanting the Buddha all the way home, I went upstairs and felt that the previously gloomy hallway had turned into a world of brilliant light. In the past three years, I have been able to achieve what I want, and my closed mind, which had been bullied by my classmates when I was a child, has been liberated, and I am very confident, believing that I am blessed and capable. Master Yin Guang said, "Don't kill, let live, chant Buddha and eat vegetarianism. Those who do these four things will have their minds fulfilled." I have fully verified that I have become best friends with cats, dogs, loaches and fish. I can see their joys and sorrows clearly. Once I dreamed of a river full of big fish rolling around, I knew the fish had come to give me the news. A month later my income soared to 15,000 a month.
III Releasing fish many times to show compassion
Once my father bought fish and came back to cook and eat them, I was in so much pain that I didn't eat them. Chanting Buddha to the fish. At that time, I knew I had some compassion. Later I said that fish was my friend and that I should never eat fish again in the house, and for good luck, I also refrained from swearing and putting meat in the fridge and kitchen in the house. Compassion is merit, and we must not, as Master Lian Chi sighed, "Release life, but only for the body, not for the life of wisdom."
I read the Earth Store Sutra after releasing life: "May the Holy One return to his original place, without sorrow, memory or sadness. The sinful daughter of Yue Di Li has been born in heaven for three days now. She has made offerings to her mother and has given alms to the temple of the King of Supreme Self-Realisation. Not only has the mother of the Bodhisattva been freed from hell, but all the infinite sinners have been blessed on this day, and all have been born together. When the demon king had finished speaking, he retreated with his palms together. The Brahmin's daughter returned as if from a dream. When she realised this, she went before the statue of the Buddha, and made a great vow: "May I make it easy for all sentient beings who are suffering to be freed in the future.
I then asked my girlfriend, "What did the broken woman realise to make this great vow?" My girlfriend thought for a moment and did not answer. I said, "He is enlightened that all sentient beings are past parents and future Buddhas." That means her filial piety has expanded to include compassion. Our releasing beings is also filial piety, releasing past parents, paying off debts and repaying kindness. Compassion will definitely be born here.
Four: After releasing the living beings, reciting the Buddha's words "it's hard not to be still"
This is what I found in Hangzhou after the release, when I came back from the release and recited the Buddha's name, my mouth chanted and my ears listened to it. It was so quiet that the only sound in the world was the Buddha's hymn buzzing in my ears. I realised that chanting the Buddha's name is a positive practice, and releasing the living beings is a helpful practice. There is a reason for the ancient masters to say that both positive and helpful practices are true. Giving is the first of the six degrees of charity, and releasing life is the greatest form of charity, combining financial charity, Dharma charity and fearless charity. I said to my fellow practitioners, "Life release is compassion and joy. It is a deposit, and when you need it, he comes back." I'm never afraid of letting go and not coming back, I'm only afraid of coming back too quickly, and this is true. I always have good things the day after I let go, and my fellow students say, "I've learned to live by studying Buddhism."
Five: Make a vow to release a living creature and quickly fulfil it
As long as you make a vow to release as much money or as many animals a year. As long as you believe, you work hard and you do it for the animals. You don't have to worry too much about the rest, you just wait for the money to come, there will definitely be money for you to release soon, you have to really release it, and then the Buddha will make you rich too. But if you premise first for yourself and wish a bit reluctantly, then it's hard to say what will happen.
I am a stock analyst and in my company, I have to help the salesmen to attract clients to give money to our company, by our professional charisma. But in bad markets actually clients can only lose money with us, so often we make money and clients lose money. This did make me rather sad over time, even though our income was very high and I was releasing a lot of life. But after I made the vow to release 2,000 pounds of loach in 2006, I left the company and met a trader on my own who gave me stocks that made a steady profit, and I operated them for my clients, which also made a steady profit. Then I immediately released 913 catties of loach. I remembered the words of Venerable Jingkong: "After you have made a vow for all sentient beings, the Buddha has already begun to set a path for you. What malice can the Buddha and Bodhisattvas have, all good intentions." Gratitude for three years. I would most like to tell the story of releasing loaches. I made a vow on New Year's Day in 2006 to release 2,000 catties of loach in a year's time until the Spring Festival in 2007. I quit my job at the time of the vow. The income I used to earn went to my family and I was not saving much. The reason is that I experienced a lot of benefits from the release (the first release, the stock rose. The first time I released a lot of animals, the stock went up, and the animals I released came to me in dreams to tell me something.
I also thought it was a bit difficult. The first 5,460 yuan I got immediately after making the vow, I immediately released 100 pounds, and about two weeks later, I got another 11,000 income, I put 300 pounds as soon as the money arrived that day. 300 pounds of loach dumped into the river, I was overjoyed, chanting back to the Buddha, there seemed to be Buddha's light shining across the river, I was full of confidence, believe I will succeed.
The next day at 3:00, I woke up, stretched my body and felt that I had enough and didn't want to sleep anymore, so I got up, chanted the Buddha and prepared to plan my work for the morning, clearing my mind and body. I used to want to sleep only 6 hours a day, because I know that the first step for successful people is to control their sleep, many people such as Napoleon only slept a few hours a day, I also tried to get up at 3:00 several times, but never did, sleep time is still lazy at 9 hours a day. This time, after getting up after 6 hours of sleep, I was surprised to know that it was related to the great release, so I desperately called the master's phone, but the master was not in, and my fellow practitioners told me that goodness can give birth to determination and can eliminate sin.
I then looked for the relevant theory ------ when sleeping at night, greedy sleep will be inducted with ghosts, there are also some wrongdoers are interfering with the quality of sleep. I once saw a black shadow on my girlfriend's head hitting her head with something, and she had insomnia every day for that period, sleeping for more than 11 hours were lacking. And by releasing the sins, it would overtake these ingrates and the quality of sleep would be greatly improved.
This reminds me of the words of Master Lian Chi, "The matter of releasing life is obvious, but the reason for releasing life is deep and difficult to understand." I have met too many people who ask me about the rationale for releasing the living creatures, but it is rare to see them actually go out and try it.
I was so happy that I immediately released another 200 pounds, and then several dozens and dozens of pounds after that. after I made a vow to release 2,000 pounds a year on New Year's Day 06, I have released 913 pounds in about a month at the time of writing this article. I'm thinking of doubling my vow. Without the blessing of Buddha, how could this miracle of completing the task quickly have occurred.
After we dumped several hundred pounds of loach into the river, I liked to pour them slowly, and it was immense joy to see the loach falling into the water in sheets and to see them tumbling countlessly on the surface of the river. They are very good at enjoying themselves, constantly twisting and adjusting their bodies, some will not move at all, sinking down with the water, testing the depth of the water and leaping up if they touch something. I told my girlfriend that as long as there is something to eat, whether you are a grass or a small worm, they can fill their bellies and they have a very strong life force and ability to follow nature, they like to swim against the water and are not willing to fall. Some loaches are also grateful and keep doing the 'tail dance' on the surface of the river to show you.
We need to learn from them, learn to adapt to their environment, learn to swim against the current and learn to be grateful. My girlfriend asked me, "Celestials see water as glass, hungry ghosts see water as blood, Bodhisattvas in the world of bliss see water as a pool of seven treasures, and fish see water as a palace. We have found palaces and homes for so many fish, so why don't we have good houses yet?" I said, "When I was a child I dug up ant's nests and ate swallow's nests. I've dug up bird's nests (shame on me), so we move around a lot. But we've released so many, we'll have a home too. Soon after saying this, we moved again, but this time for the last time, as we don't have to move anymore.
This post is a look back at my own three years of releasing beings, and incorporates my own industry and heart journey.
"You don't know until you release." This is what I often say to those who gather around to release the living beings: "Release the living beings to gain wealth, health and wisdom, but not to know unless you release them." Usually when they say this, some of the onlookers hear it, some leave in silence, some ask more questions, and some are silent and reflective. We can't ask others what to do, we can only ask ourselves to get closer to the Buddha and further in ......
My article "Three years since the release" has been made into a charity click by someone who doesn't know, and I have had a few people call to ask how to release it. Others have asked me to elaborate on the induction of the release. This always makes me want to write a more detailed one. So today I am writing.
If you don't chant more than 3,000,000 times, you feel that chanting is homework, but if you chant more than 3,000,000 times, you start to feel that chanting is joy. In any case, chanting is a positive practice, and releasing the Buddha is a helpful practice. This is a double practice. The reason why releasing life is the first practice of Buddhism is because the first of the six degrees of Buddhism is giving, and releasing life is the perfect "financial, Dharma and fearless giving." It is the king of almsgiving and most likely to stimulate compassion. For acts that easily stimulate compassion, vegetarianism and life release are the quickest.
Three years ago, started releasing lives. To check how many lives there are, focus a lot on the size of the blessing. To focus on what lives are put up with great rewards, and so on. Then I read Zhuge Liang's "Book of Commandments for Nephews" ---- "Endure flexing and stretching, go to the smallest detail and consult widely". I was able to get some insight into this, so I stopped worrying about these small things and let go of my mind.
Three years ago, my income was 600 per month, and I wrote a column for a living, a stock column, and I was a stock commentator by profession. People see stock commentators on TV talking eloquently, in fact, most of them have no money to do stocks themselves and are earning a salary. I released 100 yuan every month. The rest of the time I chant Buddha. At that time I was writing a column from home, a freelance job, I guess. It was very dignified to see me writing without knowing that at any time I would run out of food, have no computer and have to go to an internet cafe to write my articles. My dog would come to me at the cyber cafe when it was time to eat. Letting go was a pleasure for my girlfriend and I. We had nothing and were a little more open-minded. There wasn't much money at the time, but the practice was more sincere.
When SARS hit in May '03, all internet cafes were closed. I had no computer and no place to write. Six months later, I had another column to write and a monthly income of 1,200 yuan. At the same time, I met a vice president of a company and often chatted on QQ. he said that the company was good enough for me to help out and sent me 600 yuan.
In October, the two columns stopped for special reasons. I suddenly had no income, and at this time I immediately received an invitation from the vice president in Hangzhou to help me out, and gave me another advance of 1,000 yuan for travel expenses. I went gladly. By this time I had already been releasing people in the Yangtze River for 10 months. When I first arrived in Hangzhou, I saw the night and fireworks at the station, as if they were greeting me. I had renewed ambition and felt sure I would make a fortune in this city.
Sure enough, I made 130,000 yuan in five months here, and I was new to the city and still only had a high school diploma. And my colleague had a bachelor's degree but only 2,500 yuan a month. It had to do with the fact that I got some clients privately. My releases started to get bigger and more numerous. Every time we released, we were too lazy to go for less than 500 yuan, and we went for more than 800 yuan at a time, and our release location started to shift to West Lake.
No matter what kind of animal you release, you are at the same time giving financial, legal and fearless charity. The Venerable Haitao said, "Release the loach for beauty and delicate skin; release the tortoise for peace and longevity compared to other animals; release the conch for peace and a big heart (because the conch grows in the sea and each time you release a lot of them, it increases your confidence and you know you have great blessings); release the frog, your legs will be stronger. (After listening to the enlightenment, I realised that my worst running as a child was related to the frogs I killed when I was a child, and my arms were so strong that I was the university champion in shot put, so my legs and arms were clearly contrasting); releasing toads will heal skin diseases; releasing birds will make your body lighter; releasing earthworms will increase your ability to endure and adapt to the environment (take your children to the bird and fish market to buy earthworms); releasing eagles will increase your vision and courage, and you will learn to be bold. Release eels to learn gratitude; release carp to increase joy and bouncing ability. Pigeons, forget it. Other animals can be used as you see fit. Anyway, don't underestimate this secret, it is absolutely true and effective.
You'll never be able to stop stealing, and you'll be convinced that you'll get back what you borrowed;
Release a large number of animals to push the limits of your heart
We often say, "The merit is immense" when releasing a living creature. But the true merit of releasing life is only when we do so with compassion. For even if we release as much as we can, the sins we release will still be "like the earth on the paw, but not like the earth on the ground". Because sins are caused by infinite number of kalpas, and if they have a physical appearance, they cannot be tolerated in the entire void of the Dharma. However, by releasing a living being and reciting the Buddha's name, one can rejoice and believe in the Buddha's nature, and break the demonic barrier. Some people ask: "How good it is to chant Buddha's name without releasing the living beings, and not to spend money." But if you don't release life, you won't have internal and external wealth to give; you won't have wealth and health benefits. At the same time, there is no help for the chanting of Buddha ---- The chanting of Buddha is the first way to benefit from the amount of mind you have, while releasing the living beings is the first way to continuously expand the amount of mind, grow in compassion and open the door of giving. The first few times you do this, you will have good luck, but don't worry, not after a year of active releasing, you will start to get what you want. It is like accumulating qi and rushing through the gates. It doesn't matter if you don't feel anything, it's just building up. At a certain point, joy, compassion, surrender, freedom and a healthy state of mind will emerge. This is why releasing life is the best habit for human beings.
Before releasing the animal, recite the repentance verse (I wish to repent for all the bad karma I have done in the past, which was born from my body, speech and mind), the three vows (vow to Buddha not to fall into hell, vow to the law not to fall into hungry ghosts, vow to monks not to fall into animals), then recite the Buddha's name "Namo Amitabha Buddha" (as many times as necessary), and imagine the Buddha's light shining above you and the animal. Imagine the Buddha's light shining above you and the animal. Let go of the animal and then return to ---- "I would like to return the merits to the world of bliss for all sentient beings".

2006年元旦,我总结了三年的学佛经验.我只念<弥陀经>,只念阿弥陀佛,专修专弘,所以得到利益非常快.也是我幸运,一开始就不杂修,只听老法师的念一本经,念一声佛号.所以我前年学佛三个月的时候,就有学佛20年的同修来请教我,并且根本不信我才学佛三个月.
一 放生障碍越来越小
念佛是正行,放生是助行。正助双修。我自身放生的感应太多太灵,这里写出一些供养大家。我放生从2003年的南京长江放到杭州西湖,又放到广州珠江,还放过汕头的那个海(不知道名字)。逐渐的我想放遍祖国甚至世界大江大海。03年开始是每次100元,一月放一次,到现在每次几百元,每周放两次。钱越来越多,放的也越来越大。障碍也越来越小。三年前我放生没有钱;有时候没有时间;有时候家人不同意;并且买不到合适的放生动物,经常带1000元去了,只买到十斤八斤的泥鳅,买其他的,各个习性不同,乱七八糟不好放;还有路远,在杭州放的时候要打车带着几袋子动物去西湖和雷锋塔边上放,来回路费也够放不少的了,还耽误时间。但是现在我放生,只要坐车去黄沙码头,要多少泥鳅就有多少,旁边就是珠江,还有人帮我用车推过去,家人无论我放多少都赞成。我和女朋友吹着说:“看到没,这大概就叫“放生无碍”吧。”还有时候很多单位同事还在问我放生的一些知识,却仍然没有放。我真想抓起他们的手来带他们放,再告诉他们,“你放一次就知道了”。
二 放生感应太多
开始放生以后,有一次,女朋友梦到乌龟要送我们一个好儿子;还有一次我梦到超市的乌龟要我快去救救他;还有一次我买了牛蛙在家里放了一晚上没有放,结果死了一只,当天我梦到杀人;还有一次我最大一次放生300斤小泥鳅以后,开始每天只睡4到6个小时就不困;还有一次放生回来一路念佛,回到家上楼,感觉以往阴暗的楼道变成了灿烂光辉的世界。还有三年以来,我心想事成,小时候受同学欺负,封闭的心灵得到了解放,非常的自信,信自己有福分,信自己有能力。印光大师说过:“不杀,放生,念佛,吃素。这四点做到的人就可以心想事成。”我已经完全验证,我和猫狗泥鳅,鱼类都成了最好的朋友。能看清楚他们的喜怒哀乐。一次我梦到满江翻滚的大鱼,我就知道鱼儿来给我报喜了。一个月后我的收入就猛增到每月15000。
三 放生多次放出慈悲心
有一次我爸爸买了鱼回来烧了吃,我痛苦不已,没有吃。给鱼念佛。那个时候,我知道自己有了点慈悲心。后来我说鱼是我的朋友,家里绝对不能再吃鱼,并且为了吉祥,也不在家里说脏话和放肉类在冰箱和厨房。慈悲心就是功德,我们不能象莲池大师叹息的那样“放生,但是只济色身,未滋慧命。”
我放生以后,看了〈地藏经〉:无毒合掌启菩萨曰:愿圣者却返本处,无至忧忆悲恋。悦帝利罪女,生天以来,经今三日。云承孝顺之子,为母设供修福,布施觉华定自在王如来塔寺。非唯菩萨之母,得脱地狱,应是无间罪人,此日悉得受乐,俱同生讫。鬼王言毕,合掌而退。婆罗门女,寻如梦归。悟此事已,便于觉华定自在王如来塔像之前,立弘誓愿:愿我尽未来劫,应有罪苦众生,广设方便,使令解脱。
我就问女朋友:“破罗门女悟到了什么,才发这个大愿的。”女朋友想了想没有答。我说:“他是悟到一切众生都是过去父母,未来佛”。也就是说她的孝已经扩大到了慈悲心。我们放生也是孝敬,是放过去父母,还债,报恩。慈悲心一定会在这里生出来。
四 放生以后念佛“想不静都难”
这是我在杭州放生以后发现的,放生回来念佛,嘴念,耳朵听进去。非常的静,全世界只有佛号在耳边嗡嗡直响。我悟到念佛是正行,放生是助行。古大德说正助双修是有他的道理的。布施是六度第一层,而放生是最大的布施,具足了财布施,法布施和无畏布施。我对同修说:“放生是慈悲喜舍。是一种存款,当你需要的时候,他就回来了。”我从来不怕放掉了回不来,我只怕回来的太快,这是真话,我放生次日总是有好事情,同修说“我学佛学活了。”
五 发愿放生,迅速 满愿
只要你发愿一年放多少钱或者多少动物。只要你信,你努力,你为动物。其他你就不用过多操心,你就等钱来吧,一定会很快就有钱让你放,你得真放,然后佛会让你也发财。但是如果你前提先为自己,发愿有点勉强,那就不好说会出现什么结果了。
我是股票分析师,在公司,要帮助业务员吸引客户给我们公司钱,靠我们的专业魅力。但是在不好的市场其实客户和我们合作只能亏损,所以经常是我们赚了,客户亏了。这样时间长了,我确实比较难过,虽然我们收入非常高,我也在大量放生。但是在我发愿2006年放生泥鳅2000斤以后,我离开了公司,自己认识了一个操盘手,他给我稳赚的股票,我为客户操作,也稳赚。然后我马上就放了913斤泥鳅。我想起了净空法师的话:“当你发愿为众生以后,佛已经开始给你安排了一个路。佛菩萨能有什么恶意呢,全部是好意。”感恩三年了.我最想说说放生泥鳅的故事. 我06年元旦发愿放生泥鳅2000斤,时间是到07年春节的一年时间里.当时发愿的时候,我辞职了.以前的收入给了家里,我是不大存款的。因为我体会到了大量的放生利益(初次放生,股票涨停.放生多次有放生的动物托梦来告诉我一些事情 )所以发愿一年放2000斤。
我也觉得有点难度.可是发愿以后,我马上得到了第一笔5460元,我马上放了100斤,而后大约两周,又得到11000的收入,我当天钱一到就放300斤.300斤泥鳅倒进江里,我内心无比欢畅,念佛回向,对面江上似乎有佛光照过来 ,我充满了自信,信我会成功.
300斤放完回家9点睡觉,出现了怪事情,次日3点,我醒了,伸了下身体,觉得够了,再不想睡了,就起来,念佛,准备计划早上的工作,身心清净.以往我曾经想每天只睡6小时的,因为我知道成功人士的第一步是控制自己的睡眠,很多人如拿破仑等,都每天只睡几个小时,我也曾经努力几次想3点起来,可一直没有做到,睡眠时间都在每天9个小时还懒洋洋的这样.这次睡6个小时起来以后,我是惊喜,知道和大放生有关,就拼命打师傅的电话,可师傅不在,同修告诉我,善能生定,能灭罪.
我再找相关理论------晚上睡觉的时候,贪睡会和鬼感应,也有一些冤家债主在干扰睡眠质量。我就曾经看到我女朋友的头上有个黑的影子在拿东西砸她的头,而她那一段天天失眠,睡觉时间超过11小时都乏。而放生灭罪,会超度这些冤家,睡眠质量会大大提升。
这让我想起了莲池大师的话“放生的事,显而易见,放生的理,深而难明。”我遇到太多的人追问我放生的道理,却难得看到他们真的去动手放一放试试。
我非常高兴,马上又去放了200斤,而后陆续几十斤几十斤的放了几次。06年元旦我发愿一年放2000斤之后,到现在写文章的时候,一个月左右,已经放了913斤。我在考虑加倍完成发愿任务了。若无佛加持,怎能出现这个迅速完成任务的奇迹。
我们几百斤泥鳅倒进江里以后,我喜欢慢点倒,看到泥鳅成片不断的落入水中,看到他们无数条在江面翻滚,真是无比欢畅。他们很会享受,不断的扭动调整着身体,有的会一动不动,顺着水沉下去,试探水的深浅,若触碰到东西就一跃而起。我对女朋友说,泥鳅只要有东西吃,无论是你是草还是小虫,他们都可饱腹,并且他们有非常强的生命力和顺应自然的能力,他们喜欢逆水上游,不甘堕落。有些泥鳅还会感恩,不停的在江面跳“甩尾舞”来给你看。
我们要和泥鳅学习,学习他们适应环境,学习他们逆水上游,学习他们感恩图报。我的女朋友问我:“天人看水是琉璃,饿鬼看水是血水,极乐世界的菩萨看水是七宝功德池,鱼看水是宫殿。我们给那么多的鱼找到了宫殿,找到了家,为什么我们还没有好房子呢?”我说:“我小时候挖过蚂蚁窝,还吃过燕窝。掏过鸟窝(惭愧),所以我们经常搬家。不过我们放生这么多,我们也会有家的。说过这话以后,很快,我们又搬家了,不过这次是最后一次了,因为我们不用再搬家了。
这个文章是回顾自己三年放生的经历,并且结合了自己的行业和心路历程。
“不放不知道。”这是我经常对围观放生的人说的:“放生得财富,得健康,得智慧,不放不知道”。一般这么说,围观的听到了,有的默默离去,有的追问不止,有的沉默反思。我们不能要求别人怎么样,我们只能要求自己离佛近一点,再进一点......
我的文章《放生三年了》,不知道被谁做成了慈善点击,也有一些人打电话来问如何放。还有人要我详细的说放生感应。这就让我总想再写个详细点的。于是今天执笔。
念佛不念到300万声以上觉得念佛是功课,念到300万声以上开始有感觉了,觉得念佛是快乐。无论如何,念佛是正行,放生是助行。正助双修。为什么放生是学佛的第一助行,因为佛门六度第一是布施,而放生具足圆满“财布施,法布施和无畏布施。”是布施之王,最容易激发慈悲心。对于容易激发慈悲心的行为,吃素和放生最迅速。
三年前,开始放生。要查有多少生命,很注重福报大小。要注重什么生命放起来回报大,等等。后来看了诸葛亮的《诫外甥书》----“忍屈伸,去细碎,广 咨问”。这个去细碎,让我有所感悟,从此不再计较这些小事情,放开心量。
三年前,收入是每月600,写专栏为生,是股票专栏,我的职业是股评。大家看到电视里的股评家侃侃而谈,其实大都是自己没有钱做股票,是赚工资的。我每个月放生100元。其他时间念佛,当时我是在家写专栏,属于自由职业吧。看到我写的文章很有气度,却不知道我随时会没有饭吃,没有电脑,要去网吧写文章。我的狗到了吃饭时间会去网吧找我。放生是我和女朋友的一个乐趣,我们什么都没有,也就更加看得开一些。当时钱不多,但是修行的心比较真诚。
03年5月非典的时候,网吧全关门。我没电脑,没地方写稿。我不知道求谁好,于是跪床上求阿弥陀佛,结果次日妹妹给了我3000元买电脑。6个月以后,我有了另外一个专栏可写,月收入1200元拉。同时认识了一个公司的副总,经常聊QQ。他说公司好了让我去帮忙,还给我汇了600元。
10月,两份专栏因为特殊原因停止。我突然没有了收入,这个时候马上就接到杭州副总的邀请,让我去帮忙,并且再预支给我1000元路费。我欣然前往。这个时候我已经在长江放生10个月。刚到杭州,看到车站的夜色和焰火,象在迎接我一样。我再度出现了野心,感觉自己一定会在这个城市发财。
果然,我五个月在这里赚了13万,我是新来的,还只有高中文凭。而我的同事有本科证却每月只有2500元。这和我私下找了一些客户有关。我的放生开始大了起来,也更加多了。每次放,500元以下都懒得去,去一次都放800多以上,我们的放生地点也开始转移到了西湖。
放生是布施之王,无论放什么动物,都同时具足了财布施,法布施和无畏布施. 但是放各种具体的动物毕竟在细微的果报上有所不同,听海涛法师讲:"放泥鳅可以美容,使皮肤光华细腻; 放乌龟可得安详,且比放其他动物更加让人长寿; 放海螺得平安,心量大(因为海螺在海里生长,且每次放都是很多,会增加信心,知道自己有大福报); 放青蛙,则自己的腿会比较有力(听了开示才知道我小时候跑步就最差原来和我小时候杀青蛙有关,而我胳膊力量很大,是大学铅球冠军,腿和手臂对比明显); 放蛤蟆可医治皮肤病;放鸟类可使自己的身体轻盈; 放蚯蚓可增加忍耐和适应环境能力(要多带自己的孩子去花鸟鱼市场买蚯蚓呦); 放老鹰会增加视野和胆色,气魄; 放鳝鱼会学会感恩; 放鲤鱼会增加欢喜心,增加弹跳能力.放鸽子,算了.其他的动物大家可以自己发挥.总之别小看了这个秘密,绝对真实有效。
死尽偷心,深信有借有还;
搞大放生,突破心量极限
心量多大福分多大,我们在放生的时候,经常赞叹说:"功德无量". 但要放出慈悲心才真正功德无量.因为我们放得再多,也是"所灭罪如爪上土,未灭罪如大地土".因为罪过是无量劫造成的,假使有体相者,尽虚空法界不能容受.但是借放生念佛,可以欢喜信入 , 激发体性,破除魔障,放生放到佛光普照,放到慈悲心激发,才灭无量罪过,"如同健儿突围而出,非复千军能制". 有人问:"念佛不放生多好,还不用花钱."但是不放生,就没有内财和外财布施;不得财富和健康报.同时念佛没有助行----念佛是有多大心量得多大利益,而放生是不断拓开心量,增长慈悲,大开布施之门的第一方法.开始放的几次,会有好运临头,但是别急,以后就没有,大约一年的积极放生,开始心想事成. 如同积气冲关.没有感应,空空洞洞的感觉不要紧,那是在积累.到了一定的程度,欢喜心,慈悲心,舍心,自由的境界,健康的心态都会出现.所以说放生是人类的最好习惯.
放生以前,念忏悔偈(以前所造的恶业,都由无始贪嗔痴,从身语意之所生,从今我愿都忏悔),三归依(归依佛,不堕地狱,归依法,不堕饿鬼,归依僧,不堕畜生),再念“南无阿弥陀佛”佛号(根据当时情况念多少声),想象佛光照在你和动物上方.放掉,然后回向----"愿意把功德替所有众生回向到极乐世界".

戒杀与放生的行为包括哪些
1. Do not kill a living being with your own hands.
2. Do not abet others to kill.
3. Do not help others to kill.
4. Abstain from eating meat.
5. Do not engage in trades related to killing.
6、Whenever there is worship, regardless of what is being worshipped, use vegetarian dishes, flowers and fruit, not animal gifts.
7. If you see someone killing a human being, you should discourage them or buy the animal to be slaughtered with money and release it. If this does not work, or if the person does not sell the animal, then you should have compassion for the slaughtered animal, and even better if you can recite the Buddha's name or mantra for it.
8. Do not abuse the animal.
9、Other actions that are contrary to killing.
10. Abstain from killing and releasing animals yourself, and advise others to do the same.
1、不亲手杀生。
2、不教唆别人杀生。
3、不帮助别人杀生。
4、戒除肉食。
5、不从事与杀生有关的行业。
6、凡有祭拜,不管拜的是什么,一律用素菜、鲜花、水果,不用牲礼。
7、见人杀生,应加劝阻,或用钱将临宰之动物买而放之。若劝阻无效,或他不卖,则应对被杀之动物起同情心,若能为它念佛号或往生咒更好。
8、不虐待动物。
9、其他与杀生行为相反之行为。
10、自己戒杀放生,也劝别人戒杀放生。
