Practicing Food Giving Dreams: Earth Store King Bodhisattva Appears to Give Guidance

修行施食梦境：地藏王菩萨现身指点

Zhuge Changqing has studied the ancient and modern culture of cultivation and found that as long as you have good thoughts, observe the precepts, stop doing evil and continue to improve, you will be blessed and guided by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, good gods and sages.

Just like: Guigu Zi, Jiang Taigong, Sun Simiao, Dharma, Tang Xuanzang, Sixth Patriarch Huineng, Zhuge Liang, Liu Bo Wen, Zhang Daoling Wang Yangming, etc., all had such experiences.

Today, Zhuge Changqing shares with you the story of the Bodhisattva of the Earth, who showed up to give guidance.

A student who likes the traditional culture of Confucianism, Buddhism, Buddhism and Taoism left a question for Zhuge Changqing.

Hello, Mr Zhuge Changqing.

I had a long dream yesterday after I came back from giving food.

I went to a mountain with two fellow practitioners and there was a family at the bottom of the mountain, a mother-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and a two-year-old grandson.

I said that the temple was full of demons and that she should not go there, but she ignored me and went after her.

3. We were told to go back and get out of here quickly, the bike we had ridden here was stolen and then all three of us ran to the river where we came from. Her two electric bikes were stolen, I went to look for them and found that mine had not been stolen and her two's were found in a big van. At this point, the Bodhisattva of the Earth came and the Bodhisattva said that there was no need to take them and with a wave of his tin staff he changed into a boat and sent her two back.

4. Then, the Bodhisattva of the Earth Store tapped me on the head and I followed him. I came to hell again, in the dark, with a faint light, and when I came to the door of the hell beings who were imprisoned for committing lustful acts, the Bodhisattva of the Earth Store suddenly tapped me on the head with his tin scepter, which had become smaller, in a very kind manner.

What is the meaning of this dream?

Amitabha Buddha. Venerable Fusheng Infinite Heaven.

Hello, "Wish to advance".

Your dream is very good.

The first dream: an omen of a dream to remind you to give food to the dead.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha Buddha. Fusheng Infinite Heavenly Honour.

The dream reminds you that the old man, the child, etc., are all your family members from your past lives, and that they need you to give food and rice to them.

Why don't children eat fried rice?

The meaning is to remind you to do water and rice giving, so that he can be redeemed with the help of water and rice giving.

The 2nd dream: you are needed to instruct fellow practitioners to strive for refinement.

The dream reminds you that you need to instruct your two fellow practitioners to be diligent in giving food, to study the classics of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism diligently, to have great aspirations and not to be foolish and confused.

They were supposed to do the water and rice almsgiving diligently, but they were lazy and found excuses not to do it, so they were incapable of transcending sentient beings.

The dream reminds that you need to instruct them to do more water and rice alms giving.

As soon as they have a great desire to practise, their progress will be divine.

Dream #3: Remind them to abandon the Hinayana path and follow the Mahayana path of Buddhist study.

The dream foretells that they are currently not open-minded and are only thinking of themselves, not having a great desire to benefit all the sentient beings of the world, and belong to the Hinayana route which is only for themselves.

Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha reminded all beings in the Sutra of the Last Teachings that

Self-benefit, self-doctrination, and self-awareness.

The Buddha's three words are to tell people that the practice of

to benefit both oneself and others.

to enlighten oneself as well as to enlighten others

We must be enlightened ourselves as well as others.

Look, why was the electric bike they were riding stolen?

That is the Buddha and Bodhisattva's dream reminding them to abandon Hinayana Buddhism and take the Mahayana Buddhist route.

Zhuge Changqing gives you an analogy.

Electric car = small ferryman's boat = Hinayana = only tao yourself

Later, when the Bodhisattva of the Earth came and turned the car into a boat, he was personally reminding them to be a big ferryman's boat and to take the Mahayana Buddhist route.

Zhuge Changqing gives you another analogy.

Big boat = big ferryman boat = Mahayana Buddhism = to bring about the transformation of all beings

You take the time to give them more guidance according to the opportunity.

Dream No. 4: An omen of a leap in your wisdom and Dharma power, with the Bodhisattva of the Earth personally giving you blessings.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha Buddha. Fusheng Infinite Heavenly Honour.

To dream that the Bodhisattva of the Earth is patting you on the head is a very good dream, it is the Bodhisattva of the Earth personally giving you blessings and guidance.

Then, to dream of going to hell is an omen that you will make a great leap in your Dharma practice and can go directly to hell to propagate the Dharma. Your last dream of going to hell to recite the Earth Store Sutra is a good proof of this.

The Bodhisattva of the Earth Store King is afraid of your lack of faith and has come to directly instruct you and enlighten you.

Does the Bodhisattva know what it means when he personally taps you on the head?

A pat on the head is a blessing, so you have made a new leap in wisdom.

You have a mission in this life to promote traditional Chinese culture and a responsibility to promote the Dharma and benefit sentient beings, so work hard, keep your great aspiration and refine your mind, and you will be better and better in the future.

Zhuge Changqing observes that you have a profound karmic relationship with the Bodhisattva of the Earth. We suggest that you observe the precepts, continue to practice "five in one" (repentance, food giving, chanting, life release and vegetarianism), recite the Earth Store Sutra more often, and meditate on the Bodhisattva of the Earth when you have nothing to do.

诸葛长青老师好：

昨天施食回来后，做了个很长的梦。

1.我和两个同修一起到了一个山上，山下有个人家，婆婆，媳妇，和两岁的小孙子，然后我在她家帮她炒饭，其中一个同修就很执着的要我把这个炒饭喂给他家的小孙子吃，我说他不能吃，同修非要喂，后面那孩子吃了几粒米饭就狂吐不止，我说真不能喂，你不听。

2.后来这个同修还跟我闹别扭，不理我，自己一个人跑到另一个山头说要去那个庙里念经去，我说那个庙里都是妖魔，不要去，她理也没理我就去了，我和另一个同修去追她，刚追到庙门口。

3.有人告诉我们要赶快回去，赶快离开这里，我们骑来的车被偷了，然后我们三人都往来时的河边跑。她两的电动车被人偷走，我去找，发现我的没有被偷走，她两的在一辆大货车上找到了，这时，地藏菩萨来了，菩萨说，不必取了，锡杖一挥变了一艘船，把她两送回去了。

4.然后，地藏菩萨在我头上拍了一下，我就跟着他走了，又来到了地狱，黑漆漆一片，微弱的灯，走到关压犯淫欲戒的地狱众生门口，地藏菩萨突然用变小的锡杖很慈祥的敲了一下我的头。

这个梦境是什么含义呢？

请诸葛长青老师指点。

诸葛长青解答：

阿弥陀佛。福生无量天尊。

“发愿精进”同学，你好。

你的这个梦境非常好。

第1个梦境：预兆累世有缘托梦提醒施食超度。

诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛。福生无量天尊。

梦境提醒，你看见那个老人，小孩儿等，都是你们的累世宗亲眷属，他们需要你水米施食超度。

小孩子为什么不吃炒饭？

含义是提醒你们要做水米施食，借助水米施食，他就可以得到超度了。

第2个梦境：需要你指点同修努力精进。

诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛。福生无量天尊

梦境提醒你，要你指点两个同修精进施食，勤学儒释道经典，要有大愿心，不要愚痴迷惑。

他们本来应该认真做水米施食，但是他们偷懒，找借口不做，所以就无能力超度众生。

梦境提醒，需要你指点他们多做水米施食。

只要他们修行有了大愿心，精进就神速了。

第3个梦境：提醒他们要放弃小乘路线走大乘学佛路线。

诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛。福生无量天尊。

梦境预兆，他们目前心量没有打开，只是为自己考虑，没有造福天下苍生大愿心，属于只为自己的小乘路线。

佛祖释迦牟尼佛在《遗教经》提醒众生：

自利利他、自度度他、自觉觉他。

佛祖三句话就是告诉人们，修行，

既要造福自己，也要造福他人；

既要度化自己，也要度化他人；

既要自己觉悟，也要别人觉悟。

你看看，他们骑的那个电动车为什么被偷走？

这就是佛菩萨托梦提醒，让他们放弃小乘佛教走大乘佛教路线。

诸葛长青给你打一个比喻：

电动车=小渡人舟=小乘=只度自己

后来，地藏王菩萨来了，把车变成一艘船，就是亲自提醒他们，要做大的渡人舟，走大乘佛教路线。

诸葛长青再给你一个比喻：

大船=大渡人舟=大乘佛教=度化众生

你抽时间，根据机缘，多给他们指点一下。

第4个梦：预兆你的智慧法力有了飞跃，地藏王菩萨亲自给你加持。

诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛。福生无量天尊。

梦到地藏王菩萨拍你的头，非常好的梦境，这是地藏王菩萨亲自给你加持护佑指点。

然后呢，梦到去了地狱，预兆你的修行法力极大飞跃，可以直接去地狱弘法了。你上次梦到入地狱念地藏经，就是很好的证明。

地藏王菩萨怕你信心不足，特意来直接指点你加持你。

地藏王菩萨亲自拍你的头知道什么含义吗？

拍一下头就是加持啊，所以说你的智慧又有了新的飞跃了啊，好事儿好事儿。

你此生有弘扬国学传统文化使命，有弘法利生责任，好好努力，保持大愿心，精进心，未来越来越好。

诸葛长青观察，你和地藏王菩萨有深厚因缘啊，建议你遵守戒律、持续精进“五合一”（忏悔，施食，念诵，放生，吃素），平时多念地藏经，没事儿的时候、静坐的时候，就心里默念地藏王菩萨，会得到更多加持指点。
