There are those who seek to do business. There are those who sit and earn money.

There are those who are rich and prosperous, and those who are free to roam. There are those who are poor and have no food to wear.

There are those who are rich before they are poor. There are also those who are poor before they become officials.

There are also those who are poor and good at heart. There are also those who are rich and have no good karma.

There are those who make their own homes. There are also prodigal sons who have lost their homes.

There are also wise and clever men. There are those who are ugly and foolish.

There are widows and widowers in distress. There are also parents and grandchildren.

There are also those who cultivate their virtues and refine them. There are also those who are wicked and have become wicked.

There are also those who steal and learn to cheat. There are also those who are good and give money.

There are also prostitutes who enter houses of prostitution. There are also chaste women who work hard at spinning cotton.

There are also those who seek fame and money. There are also those who seek money and lose it.

There are those who are good before they are bad. There are also those who are wicked before they are virtuous.

There are those who are rich and poor, and those who are poor and noble. There is no end of good and evil retribution.

In this life we are honoured by the good of the previous life. In this life we suffer the wrongs of the past.

There is no way to be blessed or to suffer. For good deeds are rewarded with evil deeds.

A man's heart is good when he is at peace with himself. A gentleman does not complain to God even when he is poor.

To live a long life and not a short one. Ask your son to be virtuous.

To do good is most enjoyable and convenient. Cultivate your body for the sake of the ancient sages.

Time is not replaced by gold. A day passes and a day is lost.

If you have money to accumulate virtue, do good deeds quickly. Wealth and prosperity can be enjoyed for many years.

Piety, brotherhood, loyalty and faithfulness are goodness. Learn all about manners and shame.

Study and farming are the right things to do. Don't be greedy for wine, sex and wealth.

Wine is a poison that will cause sexual disorder. Lust is a steel sword that pierces the heart.

Seeking money for a thousand miles is a risk to your life. It's hard to regret being angry.

Drinking wine does not make you drunk. If you don't see sex, you're a good man.

Don't force yourself to take unjust money. Be patient.

Dukang made wine and made people confused. Yu is a sage.

Sitting under the willow, his heart is not disturbed. He left behind a sage's name for all time.

Fan Gong was rich and did good deeds. Father and son set up a field of righteousness.

The family of a father and mother-in-law living together is never divided. Learn to be forgiving in all things.

Even if you cannot learn from the ancient sages. Be righteous in your heart and be at peace.

Don't let your conscience get the better of you. It's hard to hide your heart in the dark.

Life in this world is a count of fingers. We will not live 36,000 days.

Take off your shoes tonight and leave them on overnight. I don't know if I will wear them tomorrow.

I advise the world to look away early. If you have money, accumulate virtue and plant a field of blessings.

There are fools and foolish people in this world. They refuse to make good karma in their lives.

Greed is not enough. If you have eight hundred, think of a thousand.

If you have a thousand, think of ten thousand. He has accumulated money to keep him tied.

Always the heart wants what it wants, but not what it wants. To seek wealth and riches and add to evil.

If you are rich and do no good. It is like a floating cloud hanging in the air.

A mansion with a thousand rooms is hard to occupy. Sleeping at night is only eight feet wide.

No matter how much rice you accumulate. How many meals can you eat each day?

No matter how much money you have. You will not be able to avoid entering the gates of ghosts.

You may have a thousand pieces of clothing. You will never wear each and every one of them after you die.

A rich man wears silk after his death. A good tomb and a good wooden coffin.

No matter how many things you have prepared. But your body will always go to the Yellow Spring.

The coffin is beautiful in all its colours. The land is the same for all burials.

The children's souls are empty. The sins are always your own.

My children will not be able to take the blame. I am not afraid that your family has money.

The King of Hell loves a good man. The judges don't want money.

士农工商遍地窜。求名求利不一般。
也有出仕为官宦。也有务农作庄田。
也有寒窗读书卷。也有学艺度时艰。
也有设法生意做。也有坐着赚银钱。
也有富贵任意荡。也有贫贱没吃穿。
也有先富后贫贱。也有先贫后做官。
也有家贫心性善。也有富贵无善缘。
也有家业自己创。也有浪子败家园。
也有聪明伶俐汉。也有丑陋蠢愚顽。
也有鳏寡又遭难。也有父母儿孙全。
也有修身将性炼。也有作恶巧生端。
也有盗贱学拐骗。也有乐善好施钱。
也有妓女入娼院。也有贞女勤纺棉。
也有求名发钱办。也有求财丧外边。
也有前善后不善。也有先恶后为贤。
贫富贵贱难尽叹。善恶报应说不完。
今生荣华前生善。今生受罪前世冤。
祸福无门由人践。为善福报作恶愆。
安分守己心田善。君子纵贫不怨天。
要作长命莫行短。要求子贤心要端。
为善最乐行方便。修身为本古圣贤。
光阴一去金难换。过了一天少一天。
有钱积德快行善。富贵能享几多年。
孝悌忠信是良善。礼仪廉耻要学全。
读书种田是正干。酒色财气不可贪。
酒是毒药将性乱。色是钢刀刺心肝。
千里求财命有险。好气伤身后悔难。
饮酒不醉头一件。见色不迷是英男。
无义之财莫强占。忍气吞声最为先。
杜康造酒把人乱。禹恶旨酒真圣贤。
柳下坐怀心不乱。留下贤名万古传。
范公得财广行善。父子用心设义田。
公婆同居家不散。百事吃亏学忍宽。
纵然不能学古圣。存心正直自安然。
莫把良心坏半点。暗室亏心难瞒天。
人生在世屈指算。难活三万六千天。
今夜脱鞋放一晚。不定明日穿不穿。
奉劝世人早看淡。有钱积德种福田。
世间有等愚迷汉。一生不肯结善缘。
贪心不过意难满。有了八百想一千。
有了一千想一万。积攒银钱将他拴。
总是心想难满愿。为求富贵把恶添。
既得富贵不行善。好比浮云空中悬。
大厦千间难尽占。夜眠只用八尺宽。
任你积米有千石。每日能食几多餐。
任你家财有万贯。难免不进鬼门关。
任你衣服有千件。死后何曾件件穿。
富贵死后穿绸缎。好坟好墓好木棺。
任你件件都备办。此身总要到黄泉。
花棺彩样都好看。土地埋人都一般。
儿女灵前空祭奠。罪孽总是自己担。
儿女难替罪半点。不怕你家有银钱。
阴阳阻隔难会面。望乡台上不能言。
阎王最喜是善汉。众位判官不要钱。
当朝一品不行善。阴曹地府不论官。
纵然富贵不贫贱。岂能买通地府官。
人生在世如住店。临死难带半文钱。
空手去到阎王殿。善恶功过算一番。
为善转生为官宦。作恶阴律不容宽。
瞒心昧己剜双眼。大称小斗上吊杆。
抛撒米面油锅炼。翻刻淫书上刀山。
不孝父母把畜变。溺杀女婴抽心肝。
淫人妻女上磨碾。咒骂公婆割舌尖。
唆人争讼刀割胆。呵风骂雨挨雷鞭。
宰杀耕牛变鸡犬。污秽字纸把耳攒。
决水放火心刺箭。诓骗人钱变畜还。
阴曹罪满轮回转。后世孽苦更无边。
六畜本是人来变。六道轮回古今传。
阴司受罪未曾满。儿在阳间败家园。
家产好似冰消散。又嫖又赌又吸烟。
吃喝嫖赌他全占。夺纪减寿断香烟。
为人在世不行善。子孙不好是枉然。
恶孽到头把帐算。始知阴司法律严。
奉劝世人早行善。莫到临头后悔难。
皇天最喜改过汉。人能悔过天神欢。
百恶一善能改免。望人早早回心田。
趁此三寸气未断。且莫误了好机关。
得个人身莫看贱。前世修了五百年。
发放投生将人变。叫人体贴古圣贤。
勤俭治家为上款。训妻教子学良贤。
耕读二字且莫慢。忠厚传家万万年。
诸恶莫作同行善。好人头上有青天。
君子固穷心不变。时至皇天另眼观。
此段言语虽俗浅。若人依从是神仙。
