Giving food, which was prescribed by Buddha Shakyamuni himself, can be done by anyone.
----- Zhuge Changqing
Chinese culture, vast and profound.
Chinese culture, embracing emptiness.
Buddha Shakyamuni predicted that Buddhism would be revived in China.
Sure enough, Buddhist culture has entered China and fused with Chinese culture to become Chinese Buddhism.
For example, the culture of food-giving has become the culture of Chinese food-giving.
Giving food was personally enlightened by Buddha Shakyamuni at the request of his disciples Ananda and Moon Love Bodhisattva.
Giving food, one of the 84,000 teachings of the Buddha, is of great blessing, great merit and rapid induction.
Sustained food giving can make offerings to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, good deities and sages, and to the ten Dharma Realms.
Sustained food giving can harmonize the three realms and accumulate blessings; it can dissolve karmic obstacles and overtake debtors.
By giving food consistently, one can promote cultivation, enhance fruitfulness and change one's destiny.
As long as one gives food consistently, one will immediately resolve and redeem one's debts, and one will immediately receive incredible blessings.
The merits of giving food are immeasurable, persistent and meritorious, and the induction is swift and incredible.
Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha himself said that all men and women, monks and families, elderly and children can give food.
The virtue of giving food once can be equivalent to the virtue of making offerings to a hundred billion Buddhas.
Giving food is one of the important elements of the "Five-in-One" practice of Zhuge Changqing (repentance, food giving, life release, chanting and vegetarianism), and those who are fortunate enough to practice it carefully can make a rapid leap and enter the fast lane.
Giving food has great blessings and can make you soar in your career, have a happy family, be rich and auspicious, have wealth and prosperity, have your heart set on success, and look solemn and beautiful ......
In order to facilitate all those who are fortunate enough to grasp the food-giving method quickly, learn to give food quickly, enhance your blessings and change your destiny. With the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, good deities and sages, as well as the wisdom of the great monks and sages of the past and recent generations, Zhuge Changqing has made changes to the food-giving rituals based on practice and meditative epiphany, repeated practice, verification and practical circumstantial evidence of those who have the right to do so, in an effort to make it easy for everyone to understand and use at first sight.
The rituals are based on the instructions given by the great Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha to Venerable Ananda and the Bodhisattva of Moon Love, as well as the instructions given by the great monks and masters of the past and present. Since ancient times, it has been practised and promoted by many great monks, priests and propagators of national education, and has contributed greatly to the popularisation of food giving, the rescue of living beings, the universalisation of sentient beings and the accumulation of blessings.
Zhuge Changqing suggests that beginners can do the following.
First, read the food-giving rituals (written version) several times. Familiarise yourself with the basic concepts of food giving and its basic contents.
1. We suggest that you, copy or print it out, or read it on your mobile phone.
2. Zhuge Changqing suggests a quick method of giving food to beginners.
Prepare the "cup + rice", read it once against the ritual, and then splash it on a clean place outside.
Secondly, watch the video version of the almsgiving ritual a few times. Start giving food.
1. You can search for: Food Giving Rituals: Zhuge Changqing 15 Steps Food Giving Rituals (Video)
Zhuge Changqing recommends that those who are lucky enough to be able to do so first watch the overall video a few times.
Then focus on "Part 3: Zhuge Changqing's Fifteen Steps to Food Giving Rituals" and study it against it. Prepare to start giving food.
2. Zhuge Changqing suggests a quick way for beginners to learn how to give food.
Prepare the "cup + rice", read it once against the ritual, and then pour it outside in a clean place.
Part I. The Origin of Food Giving
Giving food is one of the 84,000 teachings of the Buddha.
It is a direct manifestation of the Buddha's compassion and is of great merit.
Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha's sutras, such as The Buddha's Sutra on the Great Dharani Sutra on the Rescue of Flaming and Hungry Ghosts and The Buddha's Sutra on the Great Dharani Sutra on the Giving of Nectar and Flavour, teach that all people, whether they are family members or monks, men or women, old people or children, can give food as long as they have good intentions.
All one needs is a cup of water, some rice and a ritual to achieve great merits such as transcendence of the underworld, harmony of the three realms and accumulation of blessings.
Dharma is also born from cause, and dharma is also destroyed by cause.
Every dharma is born for a great cause.
So, what was the cause for the birth of this great merit of the food-giving dharma?
Zhuge Changqing researched the food-giving dharma and told those who were interested the cause of its creation.
The Buddha's teaching on food giving originated from a question asked by the Bodhisattva Yue Ai and the Bodhisattva Ananda.
The question of the Bodhisattva of Moon Love is recorded in the sutra "The Buddha's Sutra on the Great Dhamma of Giving Manna to Hungry Ghosts".
The question asked by the Bodhisattva Ananda is recorded in the Sutra "The Buddha's Sutra on the Great Dhammapada for the Relief of Flaming and Hungry Ghosts".
First Cause: Bodhisattva Yue Ai asks the Buddha to teach him how to rescue hungry ghosts.
Zhuge Changqing read the Sutra of the Buddha on the Giving of Manna to the Hungry Ghosts and saw that the Buddha had declared that the hungry ghosts, who had entered the infernal hells because of their sins, were reborn in the hungry ghosts' path (there are 36 kinds of hungry ghosts) from hell, and that they were in great pain with large bellies and small throats.
When the Bodhisattva of Moon Love felt compassion, he asked Buddha Shakyamuni what he could do to help these poor beings in the path of hungry ghosts. Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha then enlightened them on the law of giving food and transcendence.
The Buddha also preached that giving food would speed up Buddhahood, speed up the healing of diseases, and dissolve sins such as the mouth and tongue.
Second Karma: Venerable Ananda asked the Buddha to teach him how to overtake the hungry ghosts who collect debts.
Zhuge Changqing tells us the story of Venerable Bodhisattva Ananda asking the Buddha to teach him the Dharma.
Late one night, Ananda, a disciple of the Buddha, was practising meditation in his quiet room.
During the meditation, Ananda suddenly saw a very terrifying flaming ghost king, appearing in front of him.
This demon king told Ananda, "Amitabha Buddha. Due to the karmic ties of your past lives, your life expectancy in this life will soon end, in three days, and you will be reborn in the path of hungry ghosts.
Hearing this, Ananda immediately asked the Demon King, "How can I prolong my life and avoid falling into the path of hungry ghosts?"
The king of the flaming ghosts said, "This is also easy to do, if you can give food tomorrow and give alms to countless hungry ghosts and hundreds and thousands of Brahmin immortals, you will be able to resolve ....... You have to do more food giving."
What is almsgiving? How do I do almsgiving? Ananda decided to ask Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha.
Ananda rushed to Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha's residence and asked Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha for advice on what almsgiving is, how to give alms to transcend the infinite number of hungry ghosts, etc.
Buddha Shakyamuni spoke compassionately and explained the virtues, blessings and methods of giving food.
The next day, Ananda, a disciple of the Buddha, immediately made a food offering to overtake the hungry ghosts, which was praised by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, good deities and hungry ghosts living beings, and later continued to give food, resulting in a longer life span, great blessings and great rewards of cultivation.
The Buddha also told Ananda to spread the teachings of food giving so that more people could learn to promote them. Ananda lived to be 120 years old and became an important force in the promotion of the practice of food giving.
Since then, there has been an additional Buddhist practice of food-giving that has brought great blessings, rapid induction, accumulation of merit and wealth and longevity. The practice of food-giving has since been popularised through generations of monks and masters.
Zhuge Changqing suggests that those who are lucky enough to be able to do so should take a closer look at the Buddhist classics on food giving, such as the Buddha's Sutra on Giving Hungry Ghosts the Taste of Manna and the Buddha's Sutra on the Rescue of Flaming and Hungry Ghosts.
According to Zhuge Changqing, an analogy can be drawn for giving food as follows.
Giving food = making offerings to the good deities of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas = giving alms to help the hungry ghosts in the Dharma world = overcoming the wrongdoers = helping the poor
= Overcoming the karmic obstacles = Accumulating blessings = Promoting Buddhahood = Changing one's destiny = Immense blessings.
It is amazingly simple and unbelievable that by giving a cup of water + some rice + a ritual, one can accomplish the great effect of overcoming the debtors and spirits, harmonising the three worlds, accumulating blessings, accumulating merits, promoting cultivation and fast attaining Buddhahood.
In view of the fact that many people do not understand the practice of giving food and find it too complicated, Zhuge Changqing has further meditated, practised and had an epiphany, and has combined the wisdom of ancient and modern sages and great monks to modify and improve the food-giving ritual dozens of times, so that you can learn and apply it more easily.
It is one of the important elements of Mr Zhuge Changqing's "Five-in-One" method of practice (repentance, food giving, life release, chanting and vegetarianism). It is a great way to make a rapid leap and enter the fast lane.
This version is the latest version modified after repeated practice, meditation epiphanies and verification by Zhuge Changqing.
Amitabha Buddha. Fusheng Infinite Heavenly Honour. Zhuge Changqing recommends that you read this version several times. You can print, copy or save the rituals on your mobile phone, study them carefully before giving the food and read them over and over again, as well as watching the videos and reading Zhuge Changqing's induction blogs on food giving, so that you know what you are doing and are clear when you do it.

Part Three: Sutra Instructions on Food Giving
I. What is the basis for giving food? What do the sutras say about giving food?
1. The Sutra on the Giving of Manna to Hungry Ghosts says: "Though one gives to an Arhat or a Prabhupāda, one's present reward is limited and limited, but one is rewarded with 500 kalpas of human and heavenly fruit. If one gives good food to a hungry ghost, one's blessing is bodhi, and bodhi is unlimited, so one's life is unlimited."
2. The Sutra of the Flaming Mouth of Salvation says: "If a bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, ubhasai, and ubhayi always give food to hungry ghosts with this secret word and the name of the four Rudras, they will be endowed with immeasurable blessings. Life is prolonged, colour power is increased, and good roots are complete."
3. The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says: "If a person is seriously ill, or if he is ill with demons, he should give three vessels of porridge and seven incantations to the hungry demons in the wilderness. After two or seven days of this, the sickness will be cured."
4. The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says: "If there are heavy sins and obstacles that are difficult to be removed, if you give milk porridge to the hungry ghosts every day for seven days, all sins and obstacles will be eliminated."
5. The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says: "If one can inspire a husband to practise every day. If he gives food in one day, all the hungry ghosts in the world will be fed. If he gives food for many days, all the hungry ghosts in the ten directions will be satisfied."
6. The Sutra on the Rescue of the Flaming Mouth says: "Then there is no difference in the merit and virtue of making offerings to the Hundred and Thousand Kushas of the Buddha."
7. The Sutra of the Rescue of the Face: "Always practising pure conduct and having full attainment, making offerings to the hundred and thousand kushanas of the Buddha's merits and virtues."
8.The Sutra on the Giving of the Hungry Ghosts says: "That is to say, all these kinds of offerings to all the Buddhas in the ten directions are no different."
9. The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says, "Hungry ghosts in the ten directions rejoice in food and drink. At that time, the Buddhas of the ten buddhas praised the practitioner and conferred the bodhicitta on him. All the bodhisattvas rejoiced and loved, and all the dragons and celestial beings gave incense and flowers, snuff bottles, and all kinds of tricks and music to those who performed them."
10. The Sutra of the Flaming Mouth of Salvation says: "The bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, ubhasai, and ubhayi who recite these secret words have all the good roots. All non-humans, night forks and brakes, and all evil spirits and gods dare not harm them."
11. The Sutra of Saving Face and Rang says: "All the four multitudes who recite this dharani are bright and clean in colour and strong in virtue. All non-humans, demons, etc. The night forks, the rakshasas, and the hungry ghosts all fear this person and cannot bear to see him."
12. The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says: "If one can hold this sutra in the next life, one will know that this person has taken in twenty great gatherings of blessings for the sake of it."
13. In the Buddha's Sutra on Giving Manna to Hungry Ghosts, the Buddha says, "At that time, all the six hungry ghosts and spirits in the ten directions came to gather. They look up to the practitioner. They were like seeing their parents. "When the hungry ghosts saw the giver of food, they looked up to him as if he were their parents.
14. In the Buddha's Sutra on Giving Manna to Hungry Ghosts, the Buddha gives the following assurance: "If the celestial beings accept the Dharma as it is. If they are forced by the demons and gods and by hunger and thirst to die in a non-discriminatory manner. Then they shall not be called the Dharana of Victory and Great Compassion."
15: The Buddha's Sutra on Giving Hungry Ghosts the Taste of Manna says that those who give food have twenty kinds of benefits: "..... The fourth is that the person's ghosts, gods, spirits and monsters are seen as Buddhas. The fifth one whose people the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, celestial immortals and dragon gods protect as eyes ......" .
Second, giving food is to help the poor, protected by the Buddha and Bodhisattva good gods, no need to worry about fear
Many of those who are lucky enough to be in contact with almsgiving for the first time do not understand it very well and have not read the scriptures, so they have a lot of worries. In fact, there is no need to worry at all.
1. Giving food to anyone is something that Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha himself has enlightened.
The Buddha himself said that everyone can give food. The Buddha was so compassionate and wise, so selfless and devoted to helping the living beings, that he naturally would not make fun of them.
The Sutra on the Giving of Manna to Hungry Ghosts says: "A person who kindly gives a tuck of food to a hungry ghost is a bodhisattva of blessings, and a bodhisattva of unlimited blessings is a bodhisattva of unlimited longevity". The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says: "At that time, all the Buddhas in the ten realms praised the practitioner from afar and conferred the sign of bodhicitta from afar. All the bodhisattvas rejoiced and loved, and all the dragons and celestial beings gave incense, flowers, and all kinds of tricks and music to those who performed them."
2. There is no need to be afraid as the food offering is protected by the good deities of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
Some people are worried that if we don't succeed in giving food, we will be harmed by ghosts and gods.
In fact, there is no need to worry at all, because the Buddha himself instructed us to give food, so how could he harm us?
As long as we follow the rituals of the food ceremony and carefully invoke and return the invocation, there will be Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities present to protect the food giver. Zhuge Changqing practice has verified that all almsgiving done with the Zhuge Changqing almsgiving ritual is very good.
Moreover, it is the Buddha and Bodhisattva good deities who are specifically responsible for overcoming the living beings, and we are only the helpers of the Buddha and Bodhisattva good deities. In the Buddha's Sutra on Giving Manna to Hungry Ghosts, the Buddha says: "The fourth is a person whose ghosts, gods and goddesses are like Buddhas when viewed by the spirits and monsters. The fifth one whose people the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas heavenly immortals and dragon gods protect as eyes ......" .
3. Giving food is like making offerings to the good deities of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, which naturally receive the protection of the good deities of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
Zhuge Changqing gives you an example: giving food is like making daily offerings of manna water, fruits, grains and cereals to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities, which will naturally be fully protected by the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities. The Sutra of the Flame of Salvation says, "Then there is no difference in the merit and virtue of making offerings to the Hundred and Thousand Kushas of the Buddha." The Sutra of the Flame of Salvation also says: " All non-humans, night forks, rakshasasas, all evil spirits and gods dare not infringe."
4. Giving food is like inviting a guest and receiving unlimited gratitude and joy from the guest.
According to Zhuge Changqing, giving food is like inviting guests, who are only grateful and do not pester, it is as simple as that. They come and go full of gratitude.
In the Buddha's Sutra on the Giving of Manna to Hungry Ghosts, the Buddha says, "At that time, all the six hungry ghosts and spirits in the ten directions came to gather. They looked up to the practitioner. It is like seeing one's parents. The Sutra on the Taste of Manna says, "If you give food on one day, all the hungry ghosts in the world will be fed. Give food for many days, and all the hungry ghosts in the ten directions will be fed." The Sutra of the Flaming Mouth of Salvation says: "The good gods of the heavens constantly come to uphold, that is, to satisfy the sandalwood (alms-giving) nectar."
5. Numerous sentient beings have proved in practice that giving food has no side effects.
Many sentient beings who have practised the food-giving rituals of Zhuge Changqing have experienced positive blessings such as good fortune, health, happiness and prosperity. The rewards are quick.
All you have to do is follow the rituals carefully. If you have strong faith and persevere, you will be blessed and rewarded.

Part IV Preparation before giving food
I. Familiarize yourself with the ritual of giving food.
1. Before giving the food, Zhuge Changqing recommends that you familiarise yourself with the rituals, the basic content and the precautions. You can print them out or copy them and read them over and over again, so that you can recite them over time, and then use them to demonstrate your understanding with handprints.
2. Suggested method of reciting the rituals: Before each food offering, recite the rituals a dozen times, and then officially give food.
3. The "Zhuge Changqing Food Giving Ritual" has been published. (Refer to the illustration in Zhuge Changqing's Food Giving Ritual).
4. There are various types of gestures in the almsgiving ritual, which can be used at first. If the right hand (left hand) is used to doing handprints and other actions, the left hand (right hand) can hang down naturally.
5, "eight Buddha's name" hand gestures do not need to do, directly hands together chanting can.
6, at first, you can directly according to the printed (or copy) recitation of the food ceremony, time will be natural to learn.
Secondly, prepare in advance for the food offering.
Zhuge Changqing: Careful preparation is the basis for success.
(a) Time: Morning, noon and evening are all acceptable.
(Zhuge Changqing: Our country is vast and the time is different, based on Beijing time. You should do this in conjunction with the actual time. If you have time, it is best to give food in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening)
1. In the morning: between 3:00am and 9:00am is recommended. It is best to use the morning before dawn. It is best if the sun is not yet out.
2. Noon: "Between 9:00am and 17:00pm" is recommended. If there are work restrictions, other daytime hours may also be used.
3. Evening: "Between 17:00 pm and 23:00 pm" is recommended. If it is inconvenient to work late at night, it is possible to delay the meal until late at night (if the meal is given after 11pm, the early morning ritual should be used).
4. You can choose the time according to your own situation, but Zhuge Changqing suggests that it is best to do it "morning, noon and night" at the same time. If you have time, you can increase the number of times you give food.
5、What if you need to change the place of giving food for various reasons, such as travelling, business trips, meetings, visiting relatives, etc.? Zhuge Changqing suggests that you can put your palms together and communicate with the Buddha, the gods, the spirits and your relatives, saying that you need to change the place of giving food for some reason, please give blessing, protection and help, and that you will continue to give food when you return.
(2) Place of giving food: Check out the place in advance and choose a spacious and clean place to give food. It is recommended to change the place of giving food frequently.
Zhuge Changqing advises: it is recommended that you should usually investigate and choose a good place to give the food in advance to avoid nervousness and panic when the time comes. You can choose a nearby park, square, countryside, field, green area, a place with few people and clean ground.
1. The place where the food is given should be clean. Do not have rubbish and do not be dirty and messy. If there is rubbish, the environment will be polluted and Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, good spirits and living beings will not want to come. Just like inviting guests, if you invite them in a place with a lot of rubbish, the guests will definitely not want to attend.
2. Zhuge Changqing reformed the ritual of giving food, where there are willow trees, peach trees, pomegranate trees and dogs can now give food. With the mighty blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and the good gods, Zhuge Changqing, in his meditation, deliberately asked the chief god of all trees in the heavenly realm to inform the gods of willow, peach and pomegranate trees in the world that food could be given under the three kinds of trees. Zhuge Changqing also asked the Roaring Dog to inform all dogs in the world that food can also be given where there are dogs.
3、If it is convenient for you to have conditions, you can go directly to an open place and follow the food-giving ritual.
4. If it is not convenient and you are not in a position to do so, you can do the ritual at home and go directly outside to the chosen place to throw the water and millet together to the eastern sky diagonally above (if the direction of throwing the water is restricted, other directions are also possible). It should take no more than 20 minutes to reach the place where the water is thrown from the house.
5. If you have a car, you can drive it to the place where the food is given, then do the food ritual in the car, then go to an open space and pour it out in the diagonal direction of the eastern sky (if the direction is restricted, other directions are also possible).
6. On the way to the food offering, you can chant the Buddha's name, or "Amitabha Buddha" or "Eight Buddhas". On the way back, you can chant "Amitabha Buddha" and "The Great Buddha Mighty Vajra Mantra".
7. Do not give food in small areas. This is because of the dirty ground and the disturbance to the living beings in the area.
8. It is best if there are no people, animals or vehicles in or out of the place where the food is given. It does not matter if they appear by chance, they are just as effective. Note: It is important to investigate the location in advance.
9. Reminder on the place of giving food: it is advisable to change the place of giving food frequently in order to help those living creatures in various places that have low energy and cannot fly.
(3) The location of the alms-giving ritual (at home, outside and in the car are all possible).
1. If you do the food ceremony at home, you should pay attention to the following points.
(1) Choose a clean study, dining room, etc.
(2) If you can only do it in your bedroom, you should clean up your underwear and dirty things before you do it.
(3) Once you have done the ritual at home, take the cup outside and pour it out directly (within 20 minutes of arriving at the place of giving the food).
(4) Consider avoiding interference from family members, mobile phones, small animals, etc.
(5) If you have a family member, someone knocks on your door or you have to answer your mobile phone, you can say "Please wait", then finish the ritual quickly and come back to do the ritual again. If it takes a long time, more than 10 minutes, then the food ceremony must be started again.
2. If you wish to do the food ceremony in the Buddha Hall, the following points should be noted.
(1) First offer incense to the Buddha Hall and ask for the blessing of the Buddha for the success of the food ceremony.
(2) Then turn your back to the statue of the Buddha and ask him to give you support.
(3) Before doing the food-giving ritual, you can communicate by saying the following words (say them for ten days and then finish): Amitabha Buddha, Venerable Blessed One, if there is a possessed body on the statue of Buddha and Bodhisattva, please join the food-giving and accept the transcendence; there is no point in being attached to the statue of Buddha and Bodhisattva, so you may as well accept the transcendence and enter the Buddha's heavenly realm directly; if you really do not want to leave, please hide and do not affect me and my family, thank you. Then when giving food, summon the possessed beings on the statue of Buddha and Bodhisattva to join the food offering.
(4) You can ask Vairocana Bodhisattva statues to be offered next to the Buddha and Bodhisattva statues.
3. If the alms-giving ritual is done outside, the following points should be noted.
(1) Take care that there are no people, vehicles or noise disturbances nearby. (It does not matter if you pass by occasionally)
(2) If the place where the food is given is occupied by people, cars, etc., change the place.
(3) Be careful to check if the place of giving food is clean.
4. If you are doing the rituals in a car, the following points should be noted.
(1) If you are very busy, you can drive the car to the food-giving place, do the rituals in the car and splash them out in the open place outside the car.
(2) If you are very busy and it is inconvenient, you can do the rituals in the car and open the window to throw out the rituals, it is recommended to throw out the rituals outside the car.
(4) Prepare "clean cup + water + rice (food)" in advance.
1, clean cup: Zhuge Changqing suggested that you can buy a plastic water cup with a lid (major supermarkets have), the recommended capacity of 500ML or more. This is more convenient to carry at home or when you leave. When you go out to splash, you can tighten the lid of the cup and open it again when you get outside. (Note: the cup should be washed after a period of time to avoid dirt and keep it clean, which is very important.)
2, water: clean pure water, tap water can be. Don't use hot water, don't use water from the toilet. Milk is not recommended (because it can easily stain the floor and cause conflicts. In addition, many milk is adulterated with additives and is not suitable).
3, rice: millet, rice can be (simple and convenient).
Zhuge Changqing suggests: the total amount of millet and rice to be put in can be close to the amount of a spoonful for a meal. When putting in the rice, follow the ritual of chanting the Eight Buddha Signs while putting the rice into the cup of water with your fingers. It is recommended to chant three times and put the rice in three times for better results. If you do not have millet or rice, you can use steamed buns (torn and crumbled), biscuits and bread without egg additives, etc. Note the three don'ts: no meat, no vegetables, etc., no particles too big and too long.
4. Fill the cup with 90% water in advance.
(v) Giving food on rainy days.
1. You can give food on days of light to moderate rain.
2. Do not give food on a day of thunderstorm.
3. If there are thunderstorms after reciting the ritual, you may continue.
(6) Giving food on windy days
1. Food can be given on a small to medium windy day.
2. Do not give food on windy days.
(7) Giving food on a snowy day
1. Food can be given on a small to medium snow day.
2. Do not give food on snowy days
Part V. The latest food-giving rituals of Zhuge Changqing (15 steps)
A concise version of Zhuge Changqing's latest food-giving rituals.
Zhuge Changqing recommends that
1. If it is not convenient to give food outside, or if you live in a high building, you can complete the ritual inside the house first, and then go outside to find a spacious and clean place, or a place with trees and grass to face the east and splash the sky (if the east is not convenient, other directions are also possible).
2. Do the ritual in the early morning and at night, you can turn on the lights inside the house and think of them all over the universe above your head.
3. Wash your hands and rinse your mouth. Prepare the alms-giving items: cups with water (9 parts full), millet (rice), water (milk is not recommended).
The following are the fifteen steps of the Zhuge Changqing alms-giving ritual.
Step 1: Say who you are and where you are giving the food.
Zhuge Changqing: The purpose of this is to ensure that when you give the food, you quickly invite the Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Heavenly Gods, City Gods, Land Gods, Hell Feng Du Da Di, Judge Ghost Gods and other protective good deities to know who you are and quickly and directly bless and protect you. It also reduces the time for the God of the Land, the God of the City, the God of the Hell Fengdu Emperor, the Judge Demon God, etc. to consult the Household Register booklet for you. Also, by doing so, you can quickly and accurately notify your long-lost kinsmen and relatives of your long-lost clan, living beings who have killed or eaten, etc. to come to the almsgiving immediately.
You recite the following.
(1) Recite the Buddha's Dao 3 times out loud in gratitude.
(1) Recite the Buddha's Trumpets (3 times each. (sound out).
Namo Shakyamuni Buddha. Namo Amitabha Buddha. Namo Luridani Medicine Buddha of the East.
Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva. Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Namo Vairocana Bodhisattva. Namo Vedanta Bodhisattva.
Namo Namo Namo All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Three Worlds in the Ten Directions.
(2) Chanting the Daoist Trumpets (3 times each. (sound out)
Fusheng Infinite Heavenly Dignity. Venerable Yuan Shi Tianzong. Spiritual Treasure. Dao De Tian Zun. The Heavenly Father of Taiyi's suffering.
Tai Shang Lao Jun. Jade Emperor. Queen Mother. The Great Purple Emperor of Central Heaven. All the Heavenly Emperors.
The Nine Bright Star Sovereigns. The Six Djinns and Six Armours. The Five Dipper Star Sovereigns. The twenty-eight star-hosts. The Eight Immortals. Dragon King of the Four Seas.
The Five Great Mountains. The God of Day Travel. The God of the Night. The God of Taiyang. The gods of wealth and prosperity. God of the City, God of the Land.
Jesus. The Virgin Mary. Muhammad. Allah. Jehovah. All the gods and goddesses of the three worlds and ten directions.
(Zhuge Changqing: The purpose of chanting the Dao is to ask them to bless and protect and to inform their believing relatives and sentient beings to participate in this food offering to receive the supernatural. Here you can add the names of your favourite Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities ....... Shakyamuni Buddha often praises the protector deities in sutras such as the Earth Store Sutra and the Lanyan Sutra. It will be more complete with the blessings of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities. (We are grateful to all the gods and goddesses in the three realms and ten directions!)
(Zhuge Changqing: The many good deities are praised in sutras such as the Earth Treasury Sutra and the Avatamsaka Sutra spoken by the Buddha. The Tang monk also benefited from the help of the good deities when he took the scriptures from the West. The success of the food offering could not have been achieved without the help of all the good gods. With the help of many Taoist gods and goddesses, we were able to give the food "under the willow tree, by the peach tree, by the pomegranate tree, and in places where there are dogs", and we were able to successfully redeem our own debtors and benefit more sentient beings. ...... (We are sincerely grateful to all the gods and goddesses in the three worlds and ten directions!)
(2. Communicate with the gods and sentient beings practising nearby to create a harmonious atmosphere (say this 3 times. (Make a sound).
Greetings to all the gods and beings here.
The main purpose of my almsgiving here is to make offerings to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, to redeem all sentient beings, and to redeem my family's and my family's "unjust relatives, possessed beings, sentient beings with karmic connections, ancestors from many generations, aborted babies, orphan spirits, etc.". If you like to participate in the almsgiving, you can do so at any time (say it 3 times).
3. Say silently who you are and where you are giving the alms (say silently. 1 time).
I am so-and-so (former name ***, say if you have changed your name), Dharma name so-and-so (say if you have, but do not need to say if you have not), * year * month * (birthday in lunar calendar), born in ** village, ** town, ** county, ** city, ** province, China (say where you were born if you are from the city), now working in ** work (position) in ** city, ** province, today, giving food in ** district, ** city, ** province, ** (place), please bless and protect I ask for blessings. (If you do not know the time or place of your birth, you may not say it, but just say your name and where you live now. If you have adopted someone else as your child, you need to give your original name and your current name, etc.)
Step 2: Chant the eight Buddha's Trumpets and put millet into the cup. (3 times. Sound out)
Zhuge Changqing: By reciting the Eight Buddha Trumpets, we are inviting the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Dharma Protectors to be present to help and protect us, and also to help transcend the hungry ghost sentient beings. After chanting the Eight Buddha Trumpets, the hungry ghost beings in the Void Dharma Realm will become beautiful and solemn, good-looking and bold. With the presence of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities to protect us, not only are we not afraid, but the hungry ghost beings are not afraid either.
Specific method.
Recite the Eight Buddha's Trumpets (3 times. Make a sound. Cup filled with 90% water in advance. Handseals: 3 fingers, "thumb + middle finger + index finger" together to grasp the millet. Chant the Buddha's hymn while releasing the millet, and finish chanting the Buddha's hymn three times just as the millet is released. You can also chant once and release the millet once. It is recommended to recite the Buddha's name three times and release the millet three times. (You can also chant the eight Buddha's Trumpets directly into the cup of water with the rice and water placed in it).
Recite the Eight Buddha Signs.
Namo Dobra Nirvana Namo Pao Sheng Nirvana Namo Myriad Colours Nirvana Namo Vast Body Nirvana
Namo Nirvana, the Buddha of Freedom from Terror Namo Nirvana, the Buddha of Manna Namo Nirvana, the Buddha of Amitabha Namo Nirvana, the Buddha of the Precious Bun
(pronounced bao ji)
Step 3: Recite the small offering mantra. (7 times. Sound out. Squeeze the ring finger with the thumb of the right hand and turn clockwise against the cup of water)
Zhuge Changqing: This is mainly an offering to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions, the Good Gods, the Marigolds, the Sound Hearers, the Sage Monks and so on.
Om a mi li de un fear du
Ong a mi li de hong pa du
Step 4: Recite the ritual invocation. (3-7 times, out of sound. Clasp hands together)
Zhuge Changqing: This mantra is similar to giving a preparatory notice to invite guests to dinner, to give a preparatory invitation.
Reciting the ritual invocation serves three purposes: firstly, to give three conversions to oneself and to living beings; secondly, to invite the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, all the gods and goddesses of heaven and earth, city gods, land gods, mountain gods, water gods, tree gods, dragon and sky protectors, etc. to bless and help us on the spot; thirdly, to invite all sentient beings of the six hungry ghosts, as well as debtors, clansmen and living beings related to oneself, to come to the food offering. To sincerely recite.
Namo Buddha, Namo Dharma, Namo Sangha, Namo Buddha, Namo Shakyamuni, Namo Bodhisattvas, Namo all dragons and heavenly gods, may they be protected by their mighty gods. I now invite all sentient beings of the six realms of the six hungry ghosts in the ten bodhisattva lands and in the void realm to come to my place by the power of the Three Jewels.
(Zhuge Changqing: recite 3-7 times, with your voice, speaking a little slower, and at the same time think of the sound spreading through the void, thinking of all beings in the void flying in to participate in the food offering. (The phrase "all come to me" means to invite them to come and participate in the feeding)
The following are specific instructions for inviting your own relatives, relatives of your past lives and other living beings.
There are "general invocation, specific invocation and dream invocation".
1. General Invocation (1 time, meditation. In each invocation, add to the invocation "to invoke the unjust debtors, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors of the past, aborted babies, orphan spirits, etc." of you and your whole family to participate in the food offering and return the invocation, and at the same time, each time return the invocation to them "to be free from suffering and to be immediately reborn "(Just one time).
Do this in the order of "yourself - your parents - your husband (wife) - your son (daughter)".
For example: Calling on my ***, my father ***, my mother ***, my son (daughter) *** "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic beings, ancestors, aborted babies, orphan spirits, animal beings such as chickens, ducks, fish, geese, pigs, dogs, cows and sheep that have been killed, hurt or eaten, all human beings, plant beings, egg beings, immortal beings, water beings, and so on. fairy spirits, spirits in the water, spirits on the ground, spirits in the air, etc. ...... (You can add other spirits you have harmed)" etc. to participate in this food offering.
2. In response to the invocation (1 time, meditation. The main purpose is to invoke the debtors and karmic spirits that have caused illness, bad luck, bad dreams, obstruction, etc. in yourself or your family members, or to invoke the spirits of tired clansmen and friends who need to be reincarnated. (When the goal is achieved, the invocation can be stopped when the goal is achieved).
Follow the order of "yourself - your parents - your husband (wife) - your son (daughter)".
(1) For example, invoke your own unjust relatives: invoke "all your unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, aborted babies, orphan spirits" who make you grumpy, have dreams, have illnesses in certain areas, cervical spondylosis, etc., to participate in this food offering.
(2) For example, inviting parents to participate in the food offering: inviting "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, spirits of aborted babies, orphan spirits, etc." who have made father *** mother *** irritable to participate in the food offering.
(3) For example, inviting the husband's (wife's) unjust relatives: inviting "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, spirits of aborted babies, orphaned spirits, etc." who have made the husband **** irritable to participate in this offering.
(4) For example, to invite your son's (daughter's) unjust relatives: to invite your son's (daughter's) *** who does not like to study and has a short temper, "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors of past generations, aborted babies, orphaned spirits, etc.". Decide according to your situation.
(5) Invite back the spirits that you have killed or eaten. Usually it is sufficient to call back to them for 3-10 days. For example, reflect on whether you have killed or eaten various kinds of living beings; reflect on whether there are aborted babies, and if so, you must invite them to participate in the food offering.
(6) It is advisable to invite only your own family members to participate in the food offering, and to be cautious about other people. If another person has a deep relationship with you, you can join them for gratitude etc. (it is best to talk to them so that they can also be prepared). Remember not to add other people with ordinary relationships, as you do not know how many wrongs they have done, how many living beings they have killed and eaten, and if you do not know how many they have done, you may interfere with karma and cause the wrongdoer to come directly to you to collect the debt. Remember that "personal karma is personal". The best way is for them to learn to repent and give food on their own.
(7) If a loved one has already passed away, you should not invoke them, but only pray to them to be free from suffering and to be immediately elevated. (Zhuge Changqing: You can send back 49 days or more, depending on your personal circumstances. If the dream is auspicious, it means that you have received your merit; if the dream is sad and suffering, it is an omen that you need to continue to pay homage; if you have not been able to pay homage, it is usually enough to pay homage for 49 days, or you can continue to pay homage for a longer period of time. (It is recommended that at the same time, you should also send back more prayers for those who have passed away, such as releasing more sutras, printing scriptures and reciting the Buddha's Taoist name to accumulate merits for them).
3. Dream invocation (1 time, meditation. (Usually 3 days are enough for the invocation to return).
If you and your family have a dream, you can invite "all the wronged relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, relatives of the deceased, ancestors, aborted babies, orphan spirits, etc." that appear in the dream to participate in the food offering.
Zhuge Changqing advises: whether you are dreaming or not, you should invoke them during each meal.
The content of the invocation is to invite "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, ancestors of past generations, aborted babies, orphaned spirits, etc." that appear in the dream to participate in the meal.
You can modify this according to your wishes.
Step 5: Invoke the true words. (7-10 times, sound out.) Handprints: Raise the right hand, pinch the thumb + middle finger, hold the other fingers naturally upright and turn the index finger clockwise with the chanting)
Zhuge Changqing: This acts similar to formally sending out a notice inviting guests (all the six hungry ghost sentient categories, debtors, sentient beings, etc.) to come and eat soon. All the six hungry ghost sentient beings, debtors, etc. are floating all over the Void Dharma Realm, and if you don't invite them, they don't know you are here to give food and don't dare to come. (The spirits of the mind fill the void of the Ministry of Dharma above the head)
Namo ministry dhimmi gari dhimmi tandoori dhimmi (7-10 times)
na mo bu bu di li qie li duo li da ta ye duo ye
Step 6: True words to resolve grievances and knots. (3-5 times, sounding out. (Hand seal for resolving grievance knots: cross your ten fingers and then separate them, doing each one with the chanting)
(Zhuge Changqing: this True Word for resolving grievances and knots has a threefold effect: firstly, it resolves the karma of you and your accumulated grievances and debtors, the hungry ghosts, secondly, it resolves the karma of the hungry ghosts themselves, and thirdly, it resolves the karma of the friends and relatives you have called upon)
Om san tuo gatha sabha (3-5 times)
ong san tuo la qie tuo suo po he
Step 7: Opening the Throat Truth. (7-10 times, out of sound. (Handprints: right hand raised, thumb + ring finger pinched, other fingers naturally upright.)
Zhuge Changqing: This is mainly to help the hungry ghosts to open their throats so that they can easily eat their food. Hungry ghosts have throats as thin as needles and flames, they cannot eat food or drink water, and once they have eaten food, they immediately turn into coals of fire and are very miserable. If this mantra is recited, all hungry ghosts will have their throats opened, their fires extinguished, they will be free from pain and suffering, and their bodies and minds will be at peace, so that they can eat the food you give them.
Om Bu Bu Di Li Gadoli Tantra Oh Doi (7-10 times)
ong bu bu di li qie duo li da ta ye duo ye
Step 8: Change the food to the True Word. (7-10 times, out of sound. (Handseals: right hand raised upwards, thumb + middle finger squeezed, other fingers naturally upright.)
Zhuge Changqing: The recitation of the mantra can transform food into thousands of foods in the Void Dharma Realm. Visualising food all over the Void Dharma Realm causes the throats of all hungry ghosts to open themselves, all beings in the Dharma Realm to receive nectar food at once, and all ghosts and gods to be full and joyful.
Nan mo sa sa wa da ta ye du du du (7-10 times)
nan mo sa wa da ta ye duo wa lu zhi di ong san ba la san ba la hong
Step 9: Manna Water Truth. (7-10 times, sound out the sound. Right hand erect, fingers up and palm forward)
Zhuge Changqing: To recite this mantra is to turn ordinary water into infinite manna water that spreads throughout the void and the Dharma realm. The hungry ghosts have not had access to food and water for thousands of years, but with this water they will be satisfied. In this mantra, the word "Sullu Sullu" represents the sound of flowing water. When the dewy water falls from the Void and the Dharma Realm, the throats of the hungry ghosts are opened and all beings in the Dharma Realm are fed with the dewy water, and the ghosts and gods are filled to the brim and their bodies become beautiful and joyful.
Namo sulabhaya tantra oh doi tantra
Na mo su lu po ye da ta ye duo ye Da zhi ta
(7-10 times)
ong su lu su lu bo la su lu bo la su lu suo po he
Step 10: Universal offering of the true chant. (Chanted 3 times, with hands joined in chanting)
Zhuge Changqing: This is the mantra for making universal offerings of merit and virtue. The cup of intentional food giving, with water and rice, is spread throughout the Void Dharma Realm to make offerings to the infinite number of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good deities.
Om oh oh anon san po bhakti va ri bhakti (3 times)
ong ye ye nang san po wa fa ri la hong (3 times)
Step 11: Giving the True Word of the Unadulterated Food. (sound out. Recite the mantra 3 times and the mantra 7 times. Clasp your hands together while reciting the mantra; while reciting the mantra, extend your right hand from left to right and wave it into the air, similar to pouring out an infinite amount of food, with the back of your hand down. After the mantra is recited, the thumb squeezes the middle finger and swings it three times, similar to splashing out an infinite amount of food, with the back of the hand downwards. (After the mantra is recited the thumb squeezes the middle finger for three flicks.)
Zhuge Changqing: What is the meaning of this "uncovered food"? It means that there is no cover to prevent the hungry ghosts from taking part in the food giving and they can enjoy the food to their heart's content. The hungry ghosts can enjoy the food to their heart's content. "No sheltered food = no heavenly deity to block the food". By reciting this mantra, we are telling the hungry ghosts that it is okay to eat to their heart's content. You should know that not only do the hungry ghosts usually have no food to eat, but they cannot eat food when they find it, because there are heavenly deities guarding them everywhere. When you recite the mantra, you can enjoy the food to your heart's content.
The True Mantra for Uncovered Food varies according to the time you give the food, and is divided into: morning, noon and afternoon.
1) In the morning when giving food recite.
Dharma power is inconceivable, compassion is unhindered, seven grains are spread throughout the ten directions, universal giving around the sand world (3 times)
Om du li yi suo he (7 times)
Ong du li yi suo he
2) At noon when giving food recite.
The Great Roc and Golden-winged Bird, the multitude of ghosts and gods in the wilderness, the Rakshasasas' sons and mothers, all filled with manna (3 times)
Om mu di sahab (7 times)
ong mu di suo he
3) At night when giving food recite.
You and all the demons and gods, I am giving you an offering, this food is all over the ten directions, all the demons and gods together (3 times)
Om mu di ling sa he (7 times)
ong mu di ling suo he
Step 12: Recite the Eight Rudraksha. (Chant 3 times, out loud. Just chant with both hands together, hand seals can be left out)
Namo dobao rudra. Namo Po Sheng Rama. Namo Kṛṣṇa of Wonderful Colours. Namo Namo Kṛṣṇa.
Namo Kṛṣṇa of Freedom from Fear. Namo Nirvana. Namo Amitabha. Namo bao ji rudrai.
(pronounced bao ji)
Step 13: Careful Returning (Returning to the Madhyamaka)
Zhuge Changqing recommends that the return of the greetings be divided into two parts: firstly, the Great Return of Merit, and secondly, the return of the grievances to you and your family and your personal goals.
1. First, the Great Return of Merit. Return to the living beings who have participated in the food offering (chant 3 times out loud, with hands joined. If you are able to meditate, 1 time is fine).
May this merit and virtue be spread to all sentient beings, and all those who give and receive food become Buddhas together.
May you be born in the Pure Land of the West, where the nine lotus flowers are your parents, where you will see the Buddha in blossom and realize that there is no life, and where the non-returning Bodhisattva is your companion. I wish you all happiness and freedom from suffering and immediate ascension.
2. Then return to your family members' grievances and goals (recite 1-3 times silently, with hands joined.)
(1) General return (mainly to the wrongdoers, recite 1 time silently).
In the order of "yourself - your parents - your husband (wife) - your son (daughter)".
For example: to my ***, my father ***, my mother ***, my son (daughter)***, "to all my unjust relatives, possessed beings, sentient beings, my ancestors, aborted babies, orphaned spirits, etc., animal beings such as chickens, ducks, fish, geese, pigs, dogs, cows and sheep, human beings, plant beings, egg beings, gods and goddesses who have killed, injured or eaten them. spirits, spirits in the water, spirits on the ground, spirits in the air, etc. ...... (You can add other living beings you have harmed)", etc. to be free from suffering and immediately ascend to happiness.
(2) For the return (you can stop when you recover from illness, etc. and recite it once).
Do this in the order of "yourself - your parents - your husband (wife) - your son (daughter)".
For example, if you are irritable, have a disease, cervical spondylosis, etc., you need to pay tribute to all the "wrongdoers, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, aborted babies, orphan spirits, etc." that caused your irritability, so that you can be free from suffering and immediately elevated.
For example, to your parents: to the "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, aborted babies and ghosts" who caused your mother's **** leg pain, to release you from suffering and to immediately ascend.
For example, to husbands (wives): to "all unjust relatives, possessed beings, karmic spirits, ancestors, aborted babies, orphan spirits, etc." who have caused their husbands' **** temper tantrums, to release them from suffering and to immediately ascend to happiness.
For example, if you have a son (daughter), you should pray that your son (daughter) ***'s unhappy relatives who are not doing well in school will be relieved of their sufferings and immediately ascend to the next level, and that your son (daughter) *** will respect his teachers, unite with his classmates, be filial to his parents, listen carefully in class, study well and get good grades in exams. ......
If you have an aborted baby spirit, know that you have killed fish and bird life, etc., you must carefully revert to them.
If you have relatives in your family with special circumstances you can call back for them.
If a loved one has passed away, do not invoke them, but only return them to be free from suffering and immediately ascended (you can return them for 49 days or more, depending on your personal situation. After the invocation, you can ask him to give you a dream. If the dream is auspicious, it means that the person has received your merit; if the dream is sad and suffering, it is a sign that you need to continue to pray back to the deceased; if you have not been able to pray back to the deceased, it is usually enough to pray back for 49 days, or you can continue to pray back for a longer period of time. (It is recommended that you also make more rebates for those who have passed away, such as releasing more sutras, printing scriptures and reciting the Buddha's Taoist name to accumulate merit for them).
(3) Dreaming back (you can stop after 3 days. (Meditate 1-3 times).
Zhuge Changqing: If you and your family have a dream, you can give back to all the karmic beings who appear in the dream to be free from suffering and to be immediately reborn.
If the dream is auspicious, there is no need to send back to them. If the dream is auspicious, there is no need to pay tribute. For example, a meal, a wedding, a trip, a smile, gentleness, beauty, harmony and happiness are generally good signs and there is no need to pay tribute.
If the dream is evil, it needs to be returned. If you dream of being chased, dream of some person or animal, it is usually a wrongdoer who has come to collect a debt and you can add to it when you return (you can stop in 3 days). For example, if you dream of a woman beating you and a dog biting you, you can add: I would like to return the merits of my alms giving to the woman and the dog that appeared in the dream, and return them to you to be free from suffering and to ascend immediately. For example, if you dream that you are being chased and killed by an animal, you should invite them to join you in giving food and wish them happiness and immediate ascension. (Basically, 3 days is enough)
If you dream of a deceased person asking for help, you can add back to the prayers (you can stop after 3 days. If you dream that they are still suffering after 3 days, it means that the karma is relatively big and you should continue to pray back for some time). For example: Return to your deceased grandmother*** to be free from suffering and immediately ascend. Mentally recite 1-3 times.
Suggestion: Whether or not you are dreaming, you can call back to your grandmother every time you give food.
(4) Lastly, you may wish to pray to your relatives and relatives in your dreams to be free from suffering and immediately ascend to happiness.
(4) Lastly, you may also wish to pay homage to your personal wishes (meditate on them).
For example: Return to good health, career take-off, family harmony, increased orders, happy marriage, wishful thinking, all things come true, etc. To wish back that after achieving your goals, you will do more good deeds and benefit society ........ (What you wish for can be directed back to. At the end express the wish to do more good deeds)
You can also substitute for for your family ..... (5) If you have been giving food for a long time, you may wish to do so.
(5) For those who have been giving food for a long time, you can try to return to hell.
May this merit and virtue be universal in hell, universal in hell Feng Du Da Di Yan Wang Wang Wang, the King of the Ten Halls of Hell, and all the ghosts and gods of hell. (Zhuge Changqing; those who have been giving food continuously may try to return to hell, and if there are no symptoms such as fatigue or dizziness afterwards, they may continue to do so. If there are, pause the return. (Continue the return later when the merits are greater)
Step 14: Pour the water and rice in the cup, diagonally, into the eastern sky. (Zhuge Changqing: If the conditions of the place where the food is given are restrictive, you can also pour it in other directions).
Zhuge Changqing: Only when poured will the effect of filling the void be achieved. This helps to promote the effect and induction of the food. Do not pour directly onto the ground.
1. When you have finished, you can take the cup and, in a "clean, wide" place, facing east, pour the water and millet out with force diagonally above you. Other directions are fine if conditions are restrictive.
2. If you are doing rituals inside your home and splashing out outside, then you can tighten the lid of the cup and open it again when you get outside.
3, Zhuge Changqing: it is recommended that it is best to pour out with force to the east diagonally above (if inconvenient, other directions are also possible), thinking "millet and water into food throughout the universe", if you do not associate, do not want to also can.
4. Remember, you must splash it outside in a clean place. If the place is not clean, you must choose carefully.
5. Do not splash it in the neighbourhood (Zhuge Changqing: because there are many debt-collecting spirits and demons in the neighbourhood, and if you do almsgiving it will interfere with their karma).
Step 15: Chant the "Buddha's name" and the "Great Buddha Mighty Vajra Mantra". (Zhuge Changqing: After pouring out the food, recite the "Buddha's name" and the "Great Buddha's Mighty Vajra Mantra" to finish the food offering)
1. Recite the Buddha's name: Namo Amitabha Buddha.
Zhuge Changqing: It is recommended to chant Namo Amitabha Buddha. You can also recite the Buddha's name in conjunction with your own heart.
2、Chant the "Great Buddha Mighty Vajra Mantra": Om Ta Ta Li Mandu
Zhuge Changqing: After chanting this mantra, you can get the blessing of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, good gods and goddesses, and with the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, you can give them the opportunity to become Buddhas and transcend them more comprehensively. You can also chant it back to yourself in the morning and evening.
This mantra is extremely powerful, dharma-rich and blessed. It can be recited as you walk backwards.
The "Great Buddha Mighty Vajra Mantra" is: Om Ta Ta Li Mandu
The detailed pronunciation is
Om ta ta li man du
0ng ta ta li man du
Read the mantra several times and recite it well.
If you do not know it at first, you can write it down on a slip of paper and recite it accordingly when the time comes.
1. At the end of the food offering, after pouring out the water and rice from the cup, recite the ritual 10 times.
2、If you recite the ritual inside the house and splash it out outside, you can chant it and return. Just chant 10 times when you get home.
3. For those who do the ritual outside and splash out outside, you can return after splashing out by chanting for as many times as you like.
After all, wash the cup with water and put it in a clean and tidy place. You can brush the cup while chanting "Amitabha Buddha" and "Om Ta Ta Ta Power Mandu".

持续施食,可以供养佛菩萨善神圣贤、供养十法界;
持续施食,可以和谐三界、积累福报,可以化解业障、超度债主;
一是看几遍施食仪轨(文字版本)。熟悉施食基本概念、基本内容;

bao ji)
Ong a
mi li
de hong pa
du
na mo bu bu di
li qie li duo li da ta ye duo
ye
ong
san tuo
la qie tuo suo po
he
ong bu bu di
li qie
duo li da ta ye duo ye
nan mo sa wa da ta ye
duo wa
lu zhi
di ong
san ba la san ba la hong

ong su lu su

ong ye ye
nang san po wa fa
ri la hong (3遍)
Ong du
li yi suo he
ong mu di suo
he
ong mu di ling suo
he
bao ji)
如果梦境吉祥,不需要回向。譬如吃饭、结婚、旅游、微笑、温和、美丽、和谐开心的,一般是好的征兆,不需要回向;
0ng ta ta li man
du
What are the acts of abstaining from killing and releasing
1. Do not kill a living being with your own hands.
2. Do not abet others to kill.
3. Do not help others to kill.
4. Abstain from eating meat.
5. Do not engage in trades related to killing.
6、Whenever there is worship, regardless of what is being worshipped, use vegetarian dishes, flowers and fruit, not animal gifts.
7. If you see someone killing a human being, you should discourage them or buy the animal to be slaughtered with money and release it. If this does not work, or if the person does not sell the animal, then you should have compassion for the slaughtered animal, and even better if you can recite the Buddha's name or mantra for it.
8. Do not abuse the animal.
9、Other actions that are contrary to killing.
10. Abstain from killing and releasing animals yourself, and advise others to do the same.
