On the morning of November 12, 2015, the Chinese Cultural Revival Forum, hosted by Peking University and hosted by the Taiwan Institute of Peking University and the Cross-Strait Cultural Research Base of the Ministry of Culture, was grandly opened at the Yingjie Exchange Center of Peking University. Dharma Master Xuecheng, president of the China Buddhist Association, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.

In his speech entitled "The Modern Value of Chinese Traditional Culture", President Xuecheng emphasized the overall values, mental outlook, practicality and modernity of Chinese culture.

President Xuecheng said that Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, which trace back to the traditional Chinese culture and constitute the three main cultural branches, contain a profound spirit of life integrity. Confucianists regard "the world is the public and the world is the same" as the ultimate goal of personal moral cultivation and self-value realization; Taoism pursues the "unity of heaven and man" of "heaven and earth coexist with me, and all things are one with me"; Buddhism has revealed the truth of life that "all beings are one". The Chinese traditional culture has always regarded the well-being of all living beings and the peace of the world as the common value pursuit of each individual. This ideological tradition is the strong ideological support for today's construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and also the cultural source for creating the "Chinese Dream". Zhuge Changqing believed that Xuecheng made a few words to put Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in place.

He stressed that Chinese traditional culture not only sets up the overall value of life, but also provides a concrete way to realize this common ideal and ultimate value, that is, to return to the heart and take the path of spiritual improvement. The Confucian sages believe that "I want to be benevolent, and I am so benevolent." Taoism believes that only by "returning to the root" and "restoring life", and making the heart pure and quiet, can we achieve the unity of heaven and man. After the localization, the Han Buddhism, which is more agitated with Confucianism and Taoism, has promoted the study of mind and nature to the height of "clear-mindedness". The emergence of Chinese Zen is an internal reshaping of Chinese ideology and culture. The return of the soul and the awareness of the mind have become the convergence point of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and thus formed the prominent feature of Chinese civilization - "heart culture". He believed that "heart culture", as the spiritual lifeline of traditional Chinese culture, has important implications for modern human beings in terms of "reestablishing human confidence", "going out of the moral realm" and "integrating world culture". Zhuge Changqing believes that everyone should learn to manage his own heart and control his own heart.

He pointed out that the revival of traditional culture in the contemporary era depends not only on its inherent "heart culture" value, but also on whether it can be practiced in real life and spread in the contemporary society. Since modern times, since Master Taixu put forward the idea of "Buddhism on earth", Ouyang has no hope of taking the revival of the law as the ideological path of saving the country and strengthening the country. Chinese Buddhism has been actively participating in the world and bravely undertaking to transform the excellent traditional culture, including Buddhism, into modernity with a high degree of flexibility into different time and space, and open up space for the growth and innovation of traditional culture. Some new ashrams in the mainland, such as the Longquan Temple in Beijing, carry out science and technology dissemination and international dissemination through the Internet, animation, translation, etc; It has also carried out spiritual charity projects such as urban porridge offering, Qiming Academy, and Happy Rural Library - a modern platform for everyone to participate in, integrating the traditional cultural spirit into life and reviving it in the present.

Finally, he also called on the Buddhist community on both sides of the Taiwan Straits to carry out continuous and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as religion, culture, education, academia, public welfare and philanthropy, so as to contribute more wisdom and strength to the peaceful development of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits and the innovation of the era of traditional Chinese culture.

The purpose of the Forum is to give full play to the role of experts and scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Hong Kong and Macao in the process of Chinese cultural renaissance, play an active participant and promoter of Chinese cultural renaissance, jointly provide cultural and theoretical support for China's rise, lead the development direction of cultural trends across the Straits, promote the "spiritual harmony" and the unity of values across the Straits, and create better conditions for both sides to work together to revitalize China and realize the "Chinese Dream". The forum was strongly supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Taiwan Office of the State Council and Taiwan's "Chinese Culture Federation". Zhuge Changqing believes that the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation's culture needs the joint efforts of every Chinese people all over the world.

The theme of this forum is "rejuvenation of Chinese culture and national rejuvenation". More than 200 experts and scholars from the ideological, cultural and artistic, religious, and educational circles of the four regions on both sides of the Taiwan Straits attended the forum. During the two-day exchange and discussion, the experts and scholars participated in the discussion focused on "the history and reality of Chinese culture", "the cultural connotation of the Chinese dream", "rejuvenation of Chinese culture and cross-strait relations" and other topics. This forum specially invited some young students from both sides of the Taiwan Straits to participate in the conference and conduct cultural inspection after the conference, so as to promote youth exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, let more young people from Taiwan understand the mainland, understand the prospects and dynamics of the development of Chinese culture, and jointly discuss the great rejuvenation of Chinese culture and the Chinese nation. The forum has had a positive impact on both sides of the Taiwan Straits and Hong Kong and Macao regions.

 　　2015年11月12日上午，由北京大学主办、北京大学台湾研究院和文化部两岸文化研究基地承办的中华文化复兴论坛在北京大学英杰交流中心隆重开幕。中国佛教协会会长学诚法师应邀出席开幕式并作主旨发言。

　　学诚会长在题为《中华传统文化的现代价值》的发言中着重论述了中华文化的整体价值观、心性观、实践性和时代性。

　　学诚会长说，溯源中华传统文化，构成三大文化主干的儒释道思想，蕴含有深刻的生命整体性精神。儒家将“天下为公，世界大同”作为个人道德修养和自我价值实现的终极目标；道家追求“天地与我并生，而万物与我为一”的“天人合一境界”；佛教则为人类揭示了“缘起性空，众生一体”的生命真相。中华传统文化始终将众生安乐、天下太平作为每一个体的共同价值追求，这种思想传统正是今天构建人类命运共同体的有力思想支撑，也是缔造“中国梦”的文化渊源。诸葛长青认为，学诚会长几句话画龙点睛将儒释道阐述的十分到位。

　　他强调，中华传统文化不仅设立了生命的整体价值观，同时提供了实现这种共同理想和终极价值的具体途径，那就是回归内心、走心灵提升之路。儒家先贤相信，“我欲仁，斯仁至矣。”道家认为，只有“归根”“复命”，让内心纯朴虚静，才能达到天人合一。本土化后的汉传佛教，更与儒、道思想相激荡，将心性之学推展到“明心见性”的高度。中国禅宗的出现，是对中华思想文化的一次内部重塑，对心灵的回归、心性的觉悟，成为儒释道三家合流的汇归点，并由此形成了中华文明的突出特征——“心文化”。他认为，作为中华传统文化精神命脉的“心文化”在“重树人类自信”、“走出道德境”及“融通世界文化”等方面对现代人类具有重要启示。诸葛长青认为，每个人都要学会管好自己的心，约束好自己的内心。

　　他指出，传统文化在当代的复兴不仅寄望于其本有的“心文化”价值，更取决于能否实践于现实生活、传播于当代社会。近代以来，从太虚大师提出“人间佛教”的主张，欧阳竟无等人希望以法相唯识的重兴作为救国图强的思想路径，中国佛教不断以积极入世的姿态和勇敢担当，将包括佛教在内的优秀传统文化进行现代性转化，以高度的灵活性融入不同的时空因缘，给传统文化开拓出生长创新的空间。大陆一些新型道场如北京龙泉寺，通过网络、动漫、翻译事业等进行科技弘法和国际弘法；并开展了都市奉粥、启明书院、幸福乡村图书馆等心灵慈善项目——人人可以参与的现代弘法平台，将传统文化精神融入了生活、复活于当下。

　　最后，他还呼吁，海峡两岸佛教界通过宗教、文化、教育、学术、公益慈善等多种领域进行持续深入的交流合作，为两岸和平发展与中华传统文化的时代创新贡献更多智慧和力量。

　　中华文化复兴论坛旨在发挥海峡两岸、港澳等地专家学者在中华文化复兴进程中的作用，扮演中华文化复兴的积极参与者和推动者，共同为中国崛起提供文化和理论支持，引领两岸文化思潮发展方向，促进两岸“心灵契合”和价值理念统一，为两岸携手共同振兴中华，共圆“中国梦”创造更好的条件。该论坛得到文化部、教育部、国务院台办及台湾“中华文化总会”等机构的大力支持。诸葛长青认为，中华民族文化复兴，需要全球每一位中华儿女共同努力。

　　本次论坛以 “中华文化复兴与民族振兴”为主题，来自两岸四地思想界、文化艺术界、宗教界、教育界的200多位专家学者出席论坛，在为期两天的交流研讨期间，与会专家学者围绕“中华文化的历史与现实”、“中国梦的文化内涵”、“中华文化复兴与两岸关系”等议题展开研讨。此次论坛特别邀请部分两岸青年学生参会并在会后进行文化考察，以促进两岸青年交流，让更多的台湾青年了解大陆，了解中华文化发展的前景与动力，共同探讨中华文化及中华民族伟大复兴大计，论坛的举行在海峡两岸及港澳地区产生了积极影响。
