Sakyamuni's eight phases: eight experiences of Sakyamuni Buddha

释迦八相:释迦牟尼佛人间八个经历

Blessed life is limitless.

Confucius, the most holy of all.

There is a noun in Buddhist culture, called "the eight phases of Sakyamuni".

The four words "Sakyamuni Eight Phases" briefly summarize the Buddha's life of spreading Dharma in the world.

Understanding the Buddha's Dharma spirit and life experience can help us build a great compassion.

amitabha. Zhuge Changqing shared the "eight aspects of Sakyamuni" with the predestined:

"Sakyamuni eight phases" refer to the eight phases of "Sakyamuni Buddha" when it appeared in this world:

The eight phases include reducing the rate of birth, entering the womb, birth, becoming a monk, subduing the devil, becoming a Taoist, turning the Falun, and entering Nirvana.

The first phase: reduction rate

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Sakyamuni Buddha decided to spread the Dharma in the world in order to promote the Dharma and promote life. We will live for days before we are born. Before Sakyamuni was born, he was a Bodhisattva and lived in the inner courtyard of Dou Pi Tian for 4000 years. Sakyamuni observed that the five causes (time, place, country, family, parents) had matured, and decided to be born on earth, taking Madame Moya as the mother, to transform all living beings.

Second phase: tyre carrier

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Sakyamuni Buddha, who was reborn as the prince of the king, came to the world to promote Dharma and promote life. Sakyamuni, riding on a six-tooth white elephant with a white lotus in its mouth, descends to Pilawei in northern India and enters the fetus from the left rib of the wife of King Jingfan, Moya. Sakyamuni said in the womb that it was the heavens. This is the "living fetus" phase of the "Qi Xin Lun".

Third phase: birth

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. The purpose of Sakyamuni Buddha as the prince is to tell the world that the wealth of the world is nothing but the cloud of wealth. Only by maintaining a pure heart, helping the living, helping the living, relieving the troubles, and getting rid of the suffering of the world is the fundamental. On April 8, Sakyamuni was born from the right rib of Madame Moya, and was born under the carefree tree in Lumbini Garden, becoming the prince of "Siddhartha". It is said that the prince can walk down the ground, walking seven steps in a week, producing lotus flowers step by step, and looking around, he said, "I am the only one in the sky and the earth." At this time, there were two dragons, one spit warm water, the other spit cold water, and gave him a bath. This day is called Buddha Bathing Day, or Buddha Bathing Day.

The fourth phase: becoming a monk

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. We are grateful to Sakyamuni Buddha, who abandoned his rich life in order to let the world find a way to relieve pain. Merit and virtue are immeasurable. When Prince Siddhartha saw the impermanence of old age, disease, death and other sufferings in the world, he found a way to relieve the troubles and sufferings of all living beings, and sent out the idea of cultivation. On a moonlit night, the prince resolutely abandoned his throne, wealth and wife and left the palace quietly. He was determined to seek the truth of relieving the pain of life in the remote mountains and forests. At dawn, the prince arrived at Rama Village, shaved his hair, put on his cassock, and sent a waiter to drive back to the city to report to King Jingfan that he had become a monk. The prince was 29 years old.

Phase 5: Subduing the Devil

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. On the way to practice, Prince Siddhartha used his experience to tell the world that as long as he kept his ambition, courage, and purity, he would make a leap in practice. At the same time, Buddha also told the world that on the way of practice, neither too hard nor too comfortable, just keep the middle way. After six years of asceticism in the forest of asceticism, the crown prince is thin and has not yet seen the Tao. So he gave up his asceticism, accepted the confession of the shepherds' chyle, and recovered his health. The prince came to a nearby big bodhi tree, laid the Vajra seat with auspicious grass, and sat upright in the east, swearing: "If I don't prove it today, the supreme bodhi would rather break this body than end up with this seat!" He sat quietly under the tree for 49 days, overcoming all kinds of "magic barriers" inside and outside.

Sixth phase: Chengdao

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Sakyamuni Foton became a Buddha and told people that everyone has Buddha nature, which cannot be proved only because of "delusion and persistence". Everyone can become a Buddha as long as they learn to abandon "greed, hatred, ignorance, slowness, suspicion, murder, theft, lust, and alcohol". After six years of practice, he finally became a Buddha under the Bodhi tree. On the eighth day of April, when I saw the stars at night, I suddenly understood that all things are caused by the reason that there is no self. "What I do is not more acceptable (the body of life and death)", and achieved the "supreme and equal enlightenment". The world respected him as "Buddha" (meaning the Awakened One), and the holy name was "Sakyamuni". He was 35 years old. Sakyamuni said when he became a Taoist priest, "Amazing, Amazing! All living beings on the earth have the wisdom and virtue of the Tathagata, but it cannot be proved by paranoid persistence." He pointed out that all living beings have Buddha nature.

The seventh phase: Turning Falun

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Sakyamuni Buddha has devoted his whole life to the promotion of Buddha's Dharma and the popularization of all sentient beings. He has left to mankind such immeasurable Buddha's Dharma as Vajra Sutra, Shurangama Sutra, Dizang Sutra, Dharma Hua Sutra, and Huayan Sutra. He has left 84000 Dharma gates to relieve worries, reflecting Sakyamuni Buddha's great compassion spirit of caring for and saving the living. After Shakyamuni became a Taoist priest, he went to Luyeyuan to spend the five monks, and then spent more than 1000 people in succession. Sakyamuni led 1250 disciples around the world to preach Buddhism. Sakyamuni promotes the wheel of Dharma, crushes heresy and promotes Buddhism, which is called "the wheel of Dharma". For 45 years, Sakyamuni went deep into the people and said that he would save all living beings.

Eighth phase: Nirvana

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Sakyamuni Buddha has set a perfect example for mankind in his life. Nirvana or extinction. That is, when Sakyamuni was eighty years old, he left the Wangshacheng, where he spoke, and came to the Saharata tree near the Karzai Naga, with his head facing north, his right hand standing on his face, his left hand on his body, his feet together, taking a side lying posture, facing west, and entering the state of Great Nirvana (Great Release). Before entering the annihilation, disciple Ananda was told: "All that have been accomplished will perish. Don't let it go. Practice my Dharma frequently.    南无本师释迦牟尼佛。
   南无阿弥陀佛。
   福生无量天尊。
   大成至圣孔子。

   佛教文化有个名词,叫做“释迦八相”。

   “释迦八相”四个字,简要概括了佛陀来人间弘法的一生。

   了解佛祖的弘法精神和一生经历,可以帮助我们树立大慈悲心。

   阿弥陀佛。诸葛长青把“释迦八相”分享有缘者:

   “释迦八相”是指“释迦牟尼佛”在此世出现时的八种相:

   降兜率、入胎、出生、出家、降魔、成道、转法轮、入涅槃等八相。

   第一相:降兜率

   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。释迦牟尼佛为了弘法利生,决定来人间弘法。先入住兜率天,后降生人间。释迦牟尼降生前,原为菩萨,住在兜率天内院,凡4000年。释迦牟尼观察5种因缘(时间、地点、国家、家庭、父母)已经成熟,便决定降生人间,以摩耶夫人为母,度化众生。
   第二相:托胎
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。释迦牟尼佛倒驾慈航,来人间弘法利生,释迦牟尼佛投胎为国王的太子。释迦化乘六牙白象,象口含白色莲花,下降北天竺迦毗罗卫国,从净饭王夫人摩耶的左肋入胎。释迦在胎中为诸天说法,此即《起信论》,所开“住胎”之相。
   第三相:出生
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。释迦牟尼佛当太子,目的是告诉世人,人间富贵只不过是富贵云烟,只有保持清净心,慈悲救助苍生,帮助苍生,解除烦恼,脱离人间苦海,才是根本。四月八日,释迦自摩耶夫人右肋出胎,诞生于兰毗尼园的无忧树下,成为“悉达多”太子。据说太子下地能走,周行7步,步步生莲花,并且举目四顾,自谓:“天上地下,唯我独尊。”这时有二条龙,一吐温水,一吐凉水,给他洗浴。此日即为佛浴日,或称浴佛日。
   第四相:出家
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。我们感恩释迦牟尼佛,他为了让世人找到解除痛苦的方法,抛弃富贵生活。功德无量啊。悉达多太子看到世间老、病、死等无常之苦,而产生为众生寻找解脱烦恼痛苦之道,发出修道之念。在一个月明之夜,太子毅然抛弃王位、财富和妻子,悄悄离开王宫,决心到深山僻林中去寻求解脱人生痛苦的真理。黎明,太子抵达罗摩村自剃须发,披上袈裟,并遣侍者车匿回城向净饭王报告他已出家。太子时年29岁。
  
 第五相:降魔
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。修行路上,悉达多太子用自己经历告诉世人,只要保持大愿心、勇猛精进心、清净心,就会修行飞跃。同时,佛祖也告诉世人,修行路上,既不要太苦、也不要太舒适,保持中道就可以。子在苦行林中修六年苦行,形体枯瘦,仍未见道。他便放弃苦行,受牧女乳糜之供,恢复了健康。太子来到附近一株大菩提树下,以吉祥草敷设金刚座,东向端身正坐,发誓:“我今若不证,无上大菩提,宁可碎此身,终不起此座!”他在树下静坐49天,克服了内外的种种“魔障”。
   第六相:成道
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。释迦牟尼佛顿悟成佛,并且告诉人们,人人皆有佛性,只因“妄想执着”不能证得。只要学会抛弃“贪嗔痴慢疑、杀盗妄淫酒,勤修戒定慧”,人人都可以成佛。经过六年修行,终于在菩提树下成佛。四月初八日,夜睹明星,豁然悟透一切事物缘起无我之理,“所作之办,不更受有(生死之身)”,成就“无上正等正觉”。世人尊称他为“佛陀”(意为觉者),圣号“释迦牟尼”,时年35岁。释迦牟尼成道时说:“奇哉,奇哉!大地众生皆有如来智慧德相,但以妄想执着,不能证得。”指出一切众生皆有佛性。
   第七相:转法轮
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。释迦牟尼佛用一生精力弘扬佛法,普度无量众生,给人类留下了《金刚经》、《楞严经》、《地藏经》、《法华经》、《华严经》等无量佛法,留下了解除烦恼的八万四千法门,体现了释迦牟尼佛关爱苍生、救助苍生的大慈大悲精神。释迦牟尼成道后,先赴鹿野苑度化五比丘,以后陆续又度化了1000余人。释迦便率领1250徒众,周游各地,宣讲佛法。释迦推动正法之轮,碾破异端邪说,弘扬佛法,称为“转法轮”。在45年中,释迦深入民间,说法普度众生。
   第八相:涅槃
   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。释迦牟尼佛用自己一生为人类做了圆满的榜样。涅槃或称入灭。即释迦牟尼八十岁时离开说法的王舍城,来到拘尸那迦附近的娑罗双树下,头朝北,右手支脸,左手放置身上,双足并拢,取侧卧之势,面向西,进入大般涅盘(大解脱)之境。入灭前嘱咐弟子阿难:“已成者皆灭,不可放逸,要勤修我法,吾灭后以戒为师。”(本文参考佛学网络资料)
