The Legend of Avalokitesvara, tells the story of Avalokitesvara's former philanthropic warrior who made a great wish in the face of the Buddha, who will awaken all living beings in the world of reincarnation, understand the way of good, and lift all living beings out of the sea of misery

After being reborn as "Miaoshan", the third princess of the King of Miaozhuang, she grew up through all kinds of hardships. She was enlightened by the Buddha and worked with her adoptive father, Dr. Yin, to make every effort to cure the people in the mountains and save their lives, and to be friendly with the villagers. Finally, she and her two disciples achieved positive results, and rose to the heaven. The Buddha gave her the name of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva of mercy and salvation. From it, you will understand how a person can become a Buddha and Bodhisattva from a mortal, how to practice, how to deal with the relationship between work and practice in the world of mortals, how to deal with family relations, and so on.

The TV series "Avalokitesvara" also tells the story of the origin of "good fortune boy", "dragon girl" and "Wei Tuo Bodhisattva".

   慈航大士投胎为妙庄王三公主“妙善”，历经种种磨难长大成人，晨钟幕课，一心向佛，她得到佛祖的点化，和其养父尹医生一起，竭尽全力为山林百姓治病救难，和乡邻相亲相善，最终，她和两位弟子修成正果，升往天界，被佛祖赐号为大慈大悲，救苦救难的观世音菩萨。从中你会体会，一个人如何从凡夫成为佛菩萨，如何修行，如何处理好红尘工作和修行关系，如何处理好家庭关系等等。

  《观世音菩萨》电视剧还讲述了“善财童子”、“龙女”、“韦驮菩萨”的来历故事。

   观音菩萨，梵文 Avalokiteśvara，又作观世音菩萨、观自在菩萨、光世音菩萨等，从字面解释就是“观察(世间民众的)声音”的菩萨，是四大菩萨之一。他相貌端庄慈祥，经常手持净瓶杨柳，具有无量的智慧和神通，大慈大悲，普救人间疾苦。当人们遇到灾难时，只要念其名号，便前往救度，所以称观世音。在佛教中，他是西方极乐世界教主阿弥陀佛座下的上首菩萨，同大势至菩萨一起，是阿弥陀佛身边的胁侍菩萨，并称“西方三圣”。

   诸葛长青认为，观世音菩萨不仅为了救助苍生而倒驾慈航来到人间，更重要的是现身说法，告诉众生，只要内心清净、内心有大慈大悲救苦救难之心，就一定会修成正果。
