The number of people learning Chinese in the United States has increased by 15 times over 10 years ago, and that in Germany has increased by 10 times... At present, 48 countries such as the United States, Britain, France, Japan, and South Korea have incorporated Chinese language teaching into the national education system.

In the past ten years, Confucius Institute has become a prominent brand and an important platform for spreading Chinese language and culture and promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and foreign countries.

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, September 28 (Xinhua News Agency) reported that teachers and students of Confucius Institutes in many countries have recently held colorful activities to celebrate the world's first "Confucius Institute Day" on September 27, as well as to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the establishment of Confucius Institutes.

The Confucius Institute of Moscow University of Russia held a celebration at the Dargomersky Children's Art School in Moscow on the 27th. When you enter the school, you can see various decorations and exhibits with Chinese elements as the theme, including the Chinese flag, Chinese calligraphy works, Chinese knots, Chinese literacy cards, etc. The small space is full of strong Chinese flavor.

The activities of the day include music and dance performances, Chinese demonstration classes, special lectures on Chinese culture, Confucius quotations and calligraphy exhibition, Chinese tourist attractions photo exhibition, Chinese national costume exhibition, Chinese tea ceremony demonstration, Chinese culture award-winning question and answer, Chinese film screening, etc. There were also volunteers demonstrating dumplings, teaching Chinese calligraphy, knitting Chinese knots, and demonstrating Chinese national musical instruments.

The Confucius Institute of Atiayo University in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, held garden tours and exhibitions on the 27th. Hundreds of students dressed in Chinese national costumes and took a group photo with the Confucius statue, participated in Chinese word guessing, tongue twister, knowledge quiz, and games such as hoop, go, and diabolo, and tasted authentic Chinese dumplings and dumplings.

   当日，遍布全球123个国家的近1200所孔子学院和孔子课堂同时举办丰富多彩的中国语言文化体验活动，共同庆祝自己的首个节日。据悉，此次体验活动共开展3000余场，包括汉语教学公开课、汉语教材展、中华文化讲座、书法比赛、诗歌朗诵、中国电影放映、学生文艺表演等各式各样的内容，参与人数达近千万人。
   为了帮助在京中外朋友近距离了解孔子学院和孔子学院总部，孔子学院总部首次举办了“开放日”活动，包括文化沙龙、名家讲座、汉语体验课、书法、绘画、中医、剪纸、舞蹈、武术、戏曲、民乐、故事会、知识竞赛、留学生才艺表演、电影放映等特色内容，同时举办孔子学院10周年展、各国孔子学院纪录片展播、教学资源展和业务咨询等。
   据了解，10年间，孔子学院建设发展迅速，目前全球已建立465所孔子学院和713个中小学孔子课堂，遍及123个国家和地区，注册学员达百万人。为满足各国民众学习汉语需求，孔子学院为100多个国家培训汉语教师20万人，向170个国家配送教材3000万册。在孔子学院的带动和影响下，全球学习汉语的人数从2004年的近3000万人攀升至1亿人。美国学习汉语人数比10年前增长了15倍，德国增长了10倍……目前，美、英、法、日、韩等48个国家将汉语教学纳入了国民教育体系。

　　俄罗斯莫斯科大学孔子学院２７日在莫斯科达尔戈梅日斯基儿童艺术学校举办庆祝活动。走进学校，就能看到各种以中国元素为主题的装饰和展品，包括中国国旗、汉语书法作品、中国结、汉语识字卡片等，不大的空间内充满了浓浓的中国味儿。
　　当天的活动包括音乐歌舞表演、汉语演示课、中国文化专题讲座、孔子语录书法展、中国旅游名胜图片展、中国民族服装展、中国茶道演示、中国文化有奖问答、中国电影放映等。现场还有志愿者演示包饺子、教中国书法、教编织中国结、演示中国民族乐器等。

　　当天上午，孔子学院还举办开放日活动，内容包括学习中国剪纸和做中国结、学习中国武术和太极拳，学生们还参加了用单词造句、用笔画拼字以及说绕口令等游戏。
　　泰国朱拉隆功大学孔子学院、国家汉办驻泰国代表处等机构在曼谷共同举办了为期两天的“海上丝绸之路”泰国行系列活动。活动邀请孔子学院在泰合作的大、中院校校长，孔子学院及孔子课堂的中泰方负责人，泰国教育部官员、泰国大学中文系主任及各学校代表等数百人参加。
　　２７日在曼谷察乐姆宫王家剧场举行的大型文艺晚会上，中泰两国演员为观众献上了包括中国杂技和泰国舞蹈在内的特色演出，展现了两国文化魅力。
　　朱大孔子学院还在朱大举办了“在泰孔子学院（课堂）成果展”及“海上丝绸之路”研讨会，与会人员就“泰国在海上丝绸之路中的地位”、“中泰合作共建海上新丝绸之路研究”等议题进行了探讨。
