Why worship Avalokitesvara?

Because Avalokitesvara always pays attention to the common people, hears the voice to save the suffering, and silently dedicates himself.

Avalokitesvara is the representative of compassion.

Avalokitesvara has already become a Buddha and is the incarnation of the "Dharma and the Tathagata". In order to help all living beings escape from the sea of suffering, with fruit and cause, he became Avalokitesvara. On the one hand, Avalokitesvara incarnates hundreds of billions of dollars. He is the sixth path of all lands. He is the last Bodhisattva in his life who prayed for thousands of answers. He can save all suffering, listen to all the voices of the world, without any boredom, no hesitation, no complaints, Even his tears turned into 21 Taras. They spent their lives together. Their compassion and wisdom were incredible.

Sakyamuni Buddha has made many speeches on the karma between Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and the Saha world. The most direct thing is that Buddha told Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in the Sutra of the Earth: You have a great karma with the Saha world. If you can hear your name, or see your image, or admire and praise you, all of these beings will be born in the supreme way, and will not turn back, always live in humanity or the heaven, enjoy peace and happiness, and when the karma is mature, you will meet Buddha and be remembered, and will become Buddha someday.

1、 Introduction to Avalokitesvara's Day

The 19th of June in the lunar calendar is a major commemoration day in the Buddhist world - the day of Avalokitesvara becoming a Buddha.

Buddhism believes that chanting Buddha, chanting sutras, holding mantras, and releasing life are still great achievements.

Why is June 19th the day when Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva became a Taoist?

This is evolved from a long-standing folk saying. It is said that a long time ago, there was a Princess Miaoshan. Later, on June 19, the Princess Miaoshan became a Taoist and became a goddess of Avalokitesvara with thousands of hands and thousands of eyes. Later generations set this day as the day when Avalokitesvara became a Taoist.

Avalokitesvara, also known as Avalokitesvara, Avalokitesvara, Avalokitesvara, Avalokitesvara, and so on. Literally, Avalokitesvara is the Bodhisattva who "observes the voice of the people in the world", and is one of the four major Bodhisattvas.

He is dignified and kind. He often holds a clean bottle of willows. He has boundless wisdom and magic power. He is merciful and saves human disasters. When people encounter a disaster, as long as they recite their name, they will go to save, so they are called Guanshiyin.

He is the first Bodhisattva under the seat of Amitabha, the leader of the Western Blissful World. Together with the Bodhisattva, he is the threatening Bodhisattva beside Amitabha, and is called the "Three Saints of the West".

According to the Sad Hua Sutra, in the past time, when Amitabha was still the king of the wheel, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva was the first prince of this king, named "Bubu".

At that time, after the treasure Tathagata gave the record to the Wheel King, Prince Bu came up to the White Buddha and said, "Blessed One, today I will tell all living beings in a broad voice that all the good roots I have are all returned to the Supreme Dharma Sambhutti (supreme right and other right consciousness).

May when I practice the Bodhisattva Way, if any sentient beings suffer from all kinds of sufferings and horrors, lose their faith and power to pursue the Dharma, fall into the great darkness without light, feel uneasy, sad, lonely, poor and poor, there is no one to ask for help and protection, no dependence and no house. If he can remember me and recite my name, and the voice of asking for help is heard by my heavenly ear and seen by my heavenly eye, it is all suffering beings. If I can't relieve him of all kinds of pain and trouble, he will not achieve the Buddha of the Supreme Buddha. Buddha, today I should launch the most extraordinary wish for the sake of all living beings. I hope that if the Wheel Sage (Amitabha) completes all the victories of the Buddhas in the world of peace and happiness in the Western Pure Land, and enters into nirvana, even when the Dharma still lives, I will practice Bodhisattva to benefit all living beings at that time. When the Dharma of the Infinite Life Buddha was extinguished at the beginning of the night, I immediately achieved the supreme Buddha fruit of Anuttarasambhuti in the following night, and continued to transform all sentient beings. "

2、 Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is the embodiment of the ancient Buddha "True Dharma and Bright Tathagata".

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Guanyin Bodhisattva is the change of the ancient Buddha's "Dharma and Buddha". Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and other Bodhisattvas have become Buddhas for a long time. It is touching to change the image of Bodhisattva to treat people patiently.

The predecessor of Avalokitesvara has already achieved the Buddha's fruit, known as "Dharma Buddha". Then he came again as a bodhisattva by vow to save all sentient beings. Zhengfa Ming Tathagata is the ancient Buddha among the ancient Buddhas. He has cultivated countless Bodhisattva Mahatha achievements in the countless galaxy of the universe in the Dharma world from ancient times to the present. He is the teacher of the ten Buddhas.

In order to help all sentient beings escape from the sea of suffering, the Dharma Tathagata, with the fruit and the cause, turned into the Avalokitesvara Avalokitesvara and became the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. On the one hand, he incarnated into hundreds of billions, and spent all the six paths in all the land. He appeared without a moment. He was the last Bodhisattva who prayed for thousands of answers in his life. He could save all the suffering, listen to all the voices of the world, without any boredom, no hesitation, and no complaints. Even his tears turned into 21 Taras, and lived together, Compassion and wisdom are incredible. If one of the sentient beings has not become a Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva will obey the oath and will never become a Buddha. After the immeasurable disaster, Amitabha died, and there was no one to protect the right dharma in the western land. The Avalokitesvara would become a Buddha in the second half of the day, and the name was "Buddha of the King of Puguang Gongde Mountain", which carried the right dharma in the Western Blissful World.

On the other hand, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva has a wonderful mind, which is the same benevolent power as the Tathagata Buddha, and the same compassion and respect as all living beings. He also helps Sakyamuni Buddha to spread the Dharma, and helps Amitabha Buddha to speak in the Blissful World. He also speaks for all living beings. The Mahavira has boundless power. Guanyin Bodhisattva has devoted himself to all sentient beings all his life, so he is the most worshipped.

3、 The belief of Avalokitesvara exists everywhere in China

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Traveling all over the country, you will find that almost everyone knows Avalokitesvara. Why do you know Avalokitesvara? Because she has saved countless beings since the beginning of her life, and her merits and virtues are incredible. People praise everywhere, so Guanyin Bodhisattva is known and admired by everyone. From this, Zhuge Changqing realized that whoever wishes to benefit the people and perseveres in doing it, people will always remember him and be grateful for him!!

"Every Amitabha, every Guanyin". The belief of Guanyin Bodhisattva has been widely spread for thousands of years. She is the embodiment of Mahayana Buddhism's spirit of mercy and salvation. Compassion is the Goddess of Mercy, which is known to all women and children in China and is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Guanyin Bodhisattva symbolizes universal truth, invisible and omnipresent, and is known as "the merciful protector of human beings".

Wisdom, compassion, action and wish are the hallmarks of the four great bodhisattvas of Mahayana Buddhism, which are Manjusri, Avalokitesvara, Samantabhadra and Dizang Bodhisattva.

The prosperity of China's four Bodhisattva beliefs has formed four famous mountain fairs. Manjusri shows wisdom, Avalokitesvara shows compassion, Samantabhadra shows practice, and Mahayana Buddhism shows willpower. The idea of Mahayana Buddhism is personified and condensed into the four great bodhisattvas, making Zhili a vivid and vivid image.

In wisdom, compassion, action and wish, Avalokitesvara is the representative of compassion. Great kindness and human happiness, great compassion pull people out of misery, and the character of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in the real Saha world to save the suffering makes it become the embodiment of compassion. "The weather is unpredictable, and people have disasters and blessings." Under the circumstances that natural disasters and human social disasters cannot be eliminated, Guanyin Bodhisattva, who "pray for thousands of answers, and the sea of suffering often makes a ferry", is people's eternal belief and hope for help.

Zhuge Changqing. amitabha. While we are grateful to Avalokitesvara, what is more important is to learn from Avalokitesvara's compassion and spirit of saving suffering, and constantly dedicate ourselves to the benefit of the world. Let's work together to strive for the dissemination of Chinese culture, the revitalization of China, national development and social happiness!!

   为何叩拜观世音菩萨呢?

    因为观世音菩萨,时刻关注苍生,闻声救苦,默默奉献自己。

   观世音菩萨是慈悲的代表。

   观世音菩萨早已成佛,是“正法明如来”化身,为了帮助众生脱离苦海,带果行因,倒驾慈航,成为了观世音菩萨,一方面化身千百亿,度于一切国土六道,他无刹不现身,是千处祈求千处应的一生补处最后身菩萨,能救度一切苦难,听一切世界声音,没有一点厌倦,不辞奔波,毫无怨言,就连他的眼泪也化成了21度母,一起度生,慈悲智慧不可思议

   释迦牟尼佛曾多次演说观世音菩萨与娑婆世界的因缘。最直接的是佛在《地藏经》中这样告诉观世音菩萨:你与娑婆世界有一大因缘,所有的天龙、鬼神乃至六道中的苦难众生,若能闻你名号,或见你形像,或敬仰赞叹你,这些众生必生於无上道,且必获不转退心,常生人道或天界,享受安乐,等到因缘成熟时,会遇佛授记,他日必将成佛的。

    农历六月十九:观世音菩萨成道日。

   一、观世音菩萨成道日简介
   农历六月十九是佛教界的重大纪念日——观世音菩萨成道日。

   佛教认为,此日念佛、诵经、持咒、放生犹为殊胜,具大功德。

   为什么把六月十九日定为观世音菩萨成道日呢?

   这是因民间由来已久的一个说法演化而来的。传说很久以前有一位妙善公主,妙善公主后来于六月十九日成道证果,现千手千眼观世音菩萨相,于是后人便把这一天定为观世音菩萨成道日。
   观音,又作观世音菩萨、观自在菩萨、光世音菩萨等,从字面解释就是“观察(世间民众的)声音”的菩萨,是四大菩萨之一。

   他相貌端庄慈祥,经常手持净瓶杨柳,具有无量的智慧和神通,大慈大悲,普救人间灾难。在人们遇到灾难时,只要念其名号,便前往救度,所以称观世音。

   他是西方极乐世界教主阿弥陀佛座下的上首菩萨,同大势至菩萨一起,是阿弥陀佛身边的胁侍菩萨,并称“西方三圣”。
   《悲华经》的记载,在过去的时劫中,当阿弥陀佛仍然为转轮圣王的时候,观世音菩萨即为此王的第一太子,名为“不眴”。

   当时宝藏如来为转轮王授记以后,不眴太子上前禀白佛陀说:“世尊,今日我以广大音声,告知一切的众生,我所具有的种种善根,全部回向阿耨多罗三藐三菩提(无上正等正觉)。

   愿我行菩萨道的时候,若有众生遭受到种种苦恼恐怖等事,退失了追求正法的信念和力量,堕落到没有光明的大黑暗处,身心不安忧愁孤独贫穷困苦的时候,没有可以求救保护的人,没有依靠也没有屋舍。如果他能够忆念著我,称念我的名号,而那个求救的音声被我天耳所闻,被我天眼所见,如是一切苦难众生,若我不能为其免除如此种种痛苦烦恼者,终不成就阿耨多罗三藐三菩提的佛果。世尊,我今天更当为了众生的缘故,发起最上殊胜的大愿,期愿假使当转轮圣王(阿弥陀佛),在西方净土安乐世界,作完种种诸佛度化众生的胜事,入于无余涅槃之后,乃至正法仍然住世时,我将在那时,修菩萨道利益众生。当无量寿佛正法,在初夜分灭去之后,我即刻在其后的夜里,成就阿耨多罗三藐三菩提无上佛果,继续度化一切众生。”
  二、观世音菩萨是古佛“正法明如来”化身而来。

   诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。观世音菩萨是古佛“正法明如来”变化的。观世音菩萨等各位菩萨都早已成佛,为了度众生,变化菩萨形象来人间耐心度人,令人感动。   

   观世音前身早已成就佛果,号“正法明如来”。其后又以菩萨的身份乘愿再来,到普渡众生。正法明如来是古佛中的古佛,他所教化的和菩萨摩诃萨无穷无量从亘古至如今,在法界宇宙无数的银河系中,己培育出数不尽的菩萨摩诃萨成就佛果,是十方如来之师。
  “正法明如来”,为了帮助众生脱离苦海,带果行因,倒驾慈航,成为了观世音菩萨,一方面化身千百亿,度于一切国土六道,他无刹不现身,是千处祈求千处应的一生补处最后身菩萨,能救度一切苦难,听一切世界声音,没有一点厌倦,不辞奔波,毫无怨言,就连他的眼泪也化成了21度母,一起度生,慈悲智慧不可思议。若有一众生没有成佛,观音菩萨则依从誓言,决然不会成佛。在无量劫后,阿弥陀佛灭度,西方国土正法无人护持,观音菩萨就会在当日下半夜成佛,名号“普光功德山王如来”,运持西方极乐世界正法。
  另一方面,观世音菩萨本觉妙心,与如来佛同一慈力,又下化众生,与一切众生,同一悲仰,自己身同众生,帮助释迦牟尼佛弘法,又帮助阿弥陀佛在极乐世界说法,为一切众生说法,大雄愿力无边无量.。观世音菩萨一生都在为众生奉献自己,所以至今最被崇拜。
   释迦牟尼佛曾多次演说观世音菩萨与娑婆世界的因缘。最直接的是佛在《地藏经》中这样告诉观世音菩萨:你与娑婆世界有一大因缘,所有的天龙、鬼神乃至六道中的苦难众生,若能闻你名号,或见你形像,或敬仰赞叹你,这些众生必生於无上道,且必获不转退心,常生人道或天界,享受安乐,等到因缘成熟时,会遇佛授记,他日必将成佛的。(具体见《地藏菩萨本愿经》)
   三、中华大地处处都有观世音菩萨信仰
  诸葛长青:阿弥陀佛。走遍祖国大江南北,你会发现几乎人人都知道观世音菩萨。为何都知道观世音菩萨?因为她无始劫以来,度化了无量无边众生,功德不可思议。处处受人赞叹,所以,观世音菩萨,人人皆知、人人赞叹。诸葛长青由此感悟到,凡发愿造福苍生并持之以恒去做的,人们会永永远远的记住他、感恩他!!

   “家家弥陀佛、户户观世音”。观音菩萨的信仰千百年来早已广泛流传。她是大乘佛教慈悲救世精神的体现。慈悲即观音,在中国妇孺皆知,深入人心。观世音菩萨象征泛在的真理,无形而无所不在,有“人类的仁慈保护者”之称。
   智、悲、行、愿是大乘佛教四大菩萨之标征,这就是文殊菩萨、观音菩萨、普贤菩萨、地藏菩萨。

   中国四大菩萨信仰之盛形成了四大名山道埸。文殊表智慧、观音表慈悲、普贤表行践、地藏表愿力,大乘佛教理念人格化凝聚在四大菩萨之中,使至理成为有血有肉的形象事迹。

   在智、悲、行、愿之中,观世音菩萨是慈悲的代表。大慈与人乐,大悲拔人苦,观音菩萨在现实娑婆世界救苦救难的品格,使其成为慈悲的化身。“天有不测风云,人有旦夕祸福,”在自然界的灾变与人间社会祸难不可能消除的情况下,“千处祈求千处应,苦海常做渡人舟”的观世音菩萨就是人们永远的信仰和求助的希冀。

   诸葛长青。阿弥陀佛。在我们感恩观世音菩萨的同时,更重要的是学习观世音菩萨的慈悲救苦精神,不断奉献自己,造福苍生。让我们齐心协力,为国学传播、中华振兴、民族发展、社会幸福而努力奋斗!!
