Huangdi's Internal Classic for Spring Health Preservation: Seven Principles of Spring Health Preservation

amitabha. Blessed life is limitless. In spring, all things are restored to life. We should abstain from killing and do good deeds and be happy.

----Zhuge Changqing

Namo Amitabha.

There is no Sakyamuni Buddha in the south.

Blessed life is limitless.

Chinese health culture has been handed down since ancient times.

Zhuge Changqing recommends that you look at the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic. Life needs health preservation theory to maintain itself.

The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic is divided into two parts, Lingshu and Suwen. It originated from the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor and was passed on by word of mouth from generation to generation. Later, it was jointly supplemented and developed by doctors and medical theorists. It was assembled into a book during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period (there were many views about the book's completion time in the Zhou, Qin and Han dynasties).

While explaining the pathogenesis and pathology in the form of dialogue and question-and-answer between the Yellow Emperor, Qibo and Leigong, he advocated not treating the disease, but not curing the disease, and at the same time advocated health preservation, life intake, longevity and longevity. It is one of the four classic works of traditional Chinese medicine of the Han nationality (Huangdi Neijing, Nanjing, Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Miscellaneous Diseases, Shennong Materia Medica Classic), and also the earliest existing medical classics in the Chinese medical treasure house.

It is a medical masterpiece that studies human physiology, pathology, diagnostics, therapeutic principles and pharmacology. In theory, he has established the "theory of yin and yang and five elements", "pulse theory" and "visceral theory" in traditional Chinese medicine.

The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic is divided into two parts: Su Wen and Ling Shu.

"Su Wen" focuses on viscera, meridians, etiology, pathogenesis, syndrome, diagnosis, treatment principles and acupuncture. Lingshu is an inseparable sister of Suwen, with the same content. In addition to discussing the functions, causes and pathogenesis of viscera, it also focuses on the meridians and acupoints, acupuncture devices, needling methods and treatment principles.

The basic spirit and main contents of the Huangdi Internal Classic include: the overall concept, the five elements of yin and yang, the visceral meridians, the etiology and pathogenesis, the principle of diagnosis and rule of law, the theory of prevention and health preservation, and the theory of luck.

Zhuge Changqing believes that the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic is a theory of universal health preservation. Those who have a chance can often look at it and learn it. The holistic concept, the five elements of yin and yang, the visceral meridians, the etiology and pathogenesis, the principle of diagnosis and rule of law, the theory of prevention and health preservation, and the theory of luck can make us conform to the principle of heaven and earth.

The "holistic concept" emphasizes that the human body itself and the nature are a whole, and that the human body structure and various parts are connected with each other. "Yin and Yang and Five Elements" is a theory used to explain the unity of opposites between things. The main content of "Zang Xiang Meridians" is to study the physiological functions, pathological changes and interrelationships of the five viscera, six internal organs, twelve channels and eight channels. "Pathogenesis and pathogenesis" describes whether various pathogenic factors affect the human body and the internal mechanism of disease occurrence and change. "The rule of law in diagnosis" is the basic principle for TCM to recognize and treat diseases. "Prevention and health preservation" systematically expounds the health preservation theory of traditional Chinese medicine and is an important summary of health preservation and disease prevention experience. "Luck Theory" studies the influence of natural climate on human physiology and pathology, and guides people to seek benefits and avoid disadvantages based on it.

Spring is coming. How to keep fit in spring?

The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic put forward the classic theory:

According to the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic, health preservation in spring:

In the third month of spring, this is called Fachen. Heaven and earth are born and everything is proud;

Sleep at night and get up early, walk widely in the court, and be sent to slow shape to make Zhisheng;

Live without killing, give without taking, reward without punishment. This is the answer to spring and the way to live.

In the contrary, it hurts the liver. In summer, it becomes cold.

Zhuge Changqing saw that many domestic health care experts paid attention to drawing wisdom from the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic. Many Chinese health care experts have extracted practical methods from it.

According to comprehensive research, Zhuge Changqing believes that seven principles should be paid attention to in spring:

1、 Comply with the characteristics of spring. Spring is the birth of all things, and the air of the earth moves upward.

Zhuge Changqing: Health preservation should conform to the law of heaven. Spring is free, just like trees begin to sprout.

Follow the law of heaven. The human body begins to generate energy.

1. The "Yang Qi" of heaven and earth began to grow, and everything revived, and a new atmosphere of prosperity appeared between heaven and earth. According to the principle of "the unity of heaven and man" in the Huangdi Internal Classic, the most important point of spring health preservation is to let the spring qi flow upward and outward, constantly enrich and strengthen the body's yang, and try to avoid damaging and blocking the generation of yang.

2. "Spring March, this is called Fachen". Spring March, the three months from the beginning of spring to the beginning of summer, is called "Fachen". What is "Fachen"? To grow old is to sprout, and to grow old is to metabolize and bring forth new, that is, to produce new from some old bodies. It is sometimes necessary. There is a traditional Chinese medicine called wormwood. When we collect herbs, you can see that wormwood is a perennial herb. It grows new buds on its old branches every time. This is called wormwood.

"Heaven and earth are born". Some people will ask, isn't winter born in heaven and earth? This "sheng" actually has a "sheng fa" feeling.

In what season do Chinese people fly kites? There are kites flying in Tiananmen Square every day. Yes, there are kites flying when the wind blows. However, it is best to fly kites in spring. Why?

In spring, the air of heaven and earth goes up, especially the air of earth. At this time, flying kites conforms to the air of heaven and earth. Therefore, the feeling of heaven and earth in spring is calling for the birth of a new life, which is called "heaven and earth are born".

2、 Don't kill animals, eat meat or be angry in spring.

Zhuge Changqing: Spring is the season of birth. Quitting killing and releasing will make you conform to the law of heaven.

"Heaven has the virtue of good life", which is most reflected in spring.

1. Don't eat meat in spring. Because if you want to eat meat, you have to kill. "Everything is proud", what is "honor"? It turns green. It is dry. "Lush grass on the plains, in one year, withers and thrives once each". The withering is drying up, and the vegetation of Rong is gradually turning green. The wind in spring is the wind that produces hair. We often say that "the wind is not cold on the face". Although the temperature outside is even colder than that in winter, the wind blowing on the face at this time is a kind of warmth. The human feeling is incomparable with the thermometer. Thermometers can be quantified, which is very scientific. However, many feelings of people can not be understood by thermometers. You should trust people. So, what do people do at this time?

2. In spring, don't kill, don't kill.

In addition, what should you take when you encounter something in the daytime?

"Live without killing".

When will criminals be killed in China? Yes, autumn, after autumn.

Why? It is also to adapt to the weather, and Chinese people live the most carefully.

Don't kill in spring. There are many animals still giving birth in spring. At this time, you should raise them and give them life. Some people will say, what are we afraid of killing several animals?

3. When you have a killing heart, the growth of your inner liver will also be killed, which is not good for you. This is mutual. "If you kill 800 people, you will lose 3000". Even in terms of self-interest and good health, you should not kill in spring.

3、 In spring, we should "sleep at night and get up early" and take a walk in the morning.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Blessed life is limitless.

It is recommended to go to bed at about 10 o'clock and get up at about 4 o'clock in the morning.

1. "Sleeping at night and getting up early". This "early rise" is relative to the "early sleep and late rise" in winter. With the change of time, we should get up early after the beginning of spring.

The characteristic of spring is that sleeping at night and getting up early generally means going to bed late and getting up early. However, the sleep of the ancients is closely related to the sunset of the sun. Although the day is long in spring, the night is still early, so we should go to bed early and get up early. Early going to bed helps to reduce yin qi, and early rising helps to generate yang qi.

2. "Guangbu". That is, walk in the courtyard or forest with grass and trees, and easily and freely adapt to the spring.

There are no specific requirements for sleeping at night, but you should get up earlier in the morning.

Maybe I got up before dawn. What are you doing? "Walk in court" is a kind of leisurely walk in court. Where is Ting? Your own yard, pay attention not to the wild.

3. What does it mean to be (pronounced "Pi") slow in shape? The monk shaved off all three thousand worries and cut off the blood relationship. His parents, wife and children didn't want it.

What is Taoism regimen? "You should not give up your body and skin because of your parents".

In spring, you must wear a wide robe with large sleeves, don't be restrained, and don't tie your belt. At this time, we often talk about regulating shape and qi. When you pose in a certain position, your body's qi and blood movement will change accordingly; When your blood circulation changes, your emotions and emotions will also change.

So, I said, when you sleep, like a baby, you should raise your hands and pose for surrender to see if you sleep soundly. What do you feel when you get up early and are "slowed down" in the yard? This kind of feeling is "to make Zhisheng", which is not memory, but ambition.

You can feel an idea flowing from your heart. Ouch, what should I do today? What should I do this year? Just that kind of desire, the desire from the heart arises spontaneously, which is that you have adapted to the change of spring.

4. You can comb your hair and massage your head more. In spring, we should comb our hair more. There is a record in the "Treatise on the Origin of Diseases - Regimen Recipe" of Chaoyuan Fang in the Sui Dynasty. He said: "Comb your hair, want more, flow blood and disperse rheumatism."

The Ming Dynasty's Vital Records also said: "Comb your hair more, remove the wind and brighten your eyes, and the way of immortality." Combing your hair can well promote the rise of the clear yang and the growth of the yang qi.

Try combing your hair dry. You can sit or stand. The ten fingers of both hands should be parted and inserted into the hairline. The hair should be combed from front to back, especially the sideburns, forehead, ear and other parts should be taken care of. When the hands are pushed behind the head, the two thumbs can press the two wind pools. Generally, you can comb it for two to three minutes or forty-nine times at a time. At this time, you will feel your scalp hot and refreshed.

4、 In spring, give up and do more good deeds.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Blessed life is limitless.

To give is to give, just like the earth releases energy, which is to carry things with great virtue.

1. "Give without taking". What is "give without taking"? Give to others, support others from time to time, instead of taking or demanding from others. Spring is the season for sowing. If you don't sow in spring, you won't have any good harvest in autumn. Someone said, I have no money. What can I give? Even if you give others two good words!

We often say that we should pay New Year's greetings during the Spring Festival. In fact, it is also "give without taking". When you say a word of encouragement and appreciation to people, you also give them a kind of vitality. Sometimes, one sentence can even save a person's life.

2. What do we eat on the day of spring? spring pancake. What's in the spring cake?

Bean sprouts. Bud! The budding bud is the gathering of vitality. From the perspective of modern nutrition, there is no qualitative difference in food, but the difference in the content of protein and fat. The Chinese believe that eating bean sprouts is completely different from eating bean paste, and the sprouts are the most vital. So, besides bean sprouts, what else do we eat? Toon sprouts. These are all newborn and extremely vigorous things, so we should eat them. What's the color of the liver? Green. Eat these green, newborn and raw foods, and consciously add this.

5、 In spring, avoid eating sour food. You can eat some sweet appropriately.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Blessed life is limitless.

Why should we avoid eating sour and sweet in spring? Zhuge Changqing believes that spring is wood, wood is liver, and the liver is vigorous. If you eat acid, it will make the liver too vigorous and restrain the spleen. If you eat sweet, you can strengthen your spleen and avoid being restrained by liver qi.

Then what should I not eat? What should we not eat in spring?

1. Sour food is the most taboo in spring. Why? Acidity is a sense of convergence, so it is contrary to "reward without punishment, give without taking, live without killing".

Eating sour food in spring is actually hurting the liver.

2. In terms of diet: Sun Simiao of the Tang Dynasty once pointed out in his "Thousand Golden Prescriptions" that "it is better to save acid and increase sweetness in spring to maintain temper".

When the liver is flourishing in spring, eat less acidic food, otherwise it will make the liver more prosperous and hurt the spleen and stomach.

At this time, you can eat more foods with sweet taste to benefit the spleen and stomach. Such as: rice, millet, glutinous rice, sorghum, rice, cowpeas, lentils, soybeans, cabbage, spinach, spring shoots, Chinese toon leaves, carrots, taro, sweet potatoes, potatoes, pumpkins, black fungus, mushrooms, longans, chestnuts, dates, yams, etc.

3. You should eat less cold foods such as cucumber, winter melon, mung bean sprouts, which will hinder the growth of yang in the body in spring.

4. Avoid mutton, dog meat, quail, buckwheat, fried peanuts, fried melon seeds, sea fish, shrimp and spicy food.

6、 In spring, corresponding to the body's liver, we should pay attention to nourishing the liver.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Blessed life is limitless.

Spring belongs to the liver and gall bladder. It is necessary to nourish the liver.

1. Nourishing liver means nourishing liver in spring. Spring is wood in the five elements, and the liver in the five internal organs of the human body is also wood, so the spring qi passes through the liver.

2. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, the corresponding organ in spring is "liver". The main qi is "Jueyin Fengmu". You can see that the wind in spring is different from the wind in autumn, which is like withering and killing, while the wind in spring is like everything will be born. But "wind" is the longest of all diseases, so we should also prevent wind in spring. This is also the image of "liver", which is called "wood". Traditional Chinese medicine says "wood means crooked and straight". The liver is "the officer of a general. What's the strategy?" Its role is to "regulate" and "release" the whole body's qi and blood, body fluid, and lead the whole army like a general. But it also has two aspects: "too much" and "less than".

Too much "catharsis" is what we usually call "hyperactivity of liver fire" (real) or "hyperactivity of liver yang" (virtual); "Relieving" is not what we usually call "liver qi" depression. Maybe someone is "angry" in the spring, or because something is "in a bad mood", so at this time we must pay attention to the release of emotions. If there is "anger" or "resentment", we must find a place to vent, and can't hold it in our hearts.

3. Take proper rest. "Tired" is the body's distress signal to you. The best way to nourish the liver is to find time to rest every day. I am very tired at ordinary times. I need to have a 10-minute rest, move my eyes, and stretch my muscles and bones; Take a nap at noon and have a little rest after dinner at night; Adjust at any time and take a break to let the liver play its role of detoxification to eliminate the feeling of fatigue.

4. Be careful. Take more rest, have a rest, work and live rhythmically, and do not be tired. Read more books such as Laozhuang and more traditional Chinese medicine to accept some knowledge of health care. "Being indifferent will make you clear, calm and faraway", be contented and happy, and live in peace. Chinese medicine believes that spring should be in the liver.

7、 Keep your mood optimistic and make yourself happy.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Blessed life is limitless.

Liver determines people's mood. You can listen to music and sing more.

1. Traditional Chinese medicine says that "liver governs emotions". Abnormal liver will affect people's emotions; Conversely, the mood will also affect the liver. Therefore, maintaining a good mood is a good way to nourish the liver and blood. When the mood is not good, try to find a person who can talk about it or find a way to release the bad mood. Don't hold it in your heart. According to relevant data, among cancer patients and some cancer patients, those who cannot relieve their depression are 2 to 4 times as many as other people. Zhuge Changqing reminded the predestined people not to be angry. Be in a good mood in spring. Therefore, the common people often say, "Ten thousand diseases come up."

2. When encountering unpleasant things and feeling depressed, you can try "shush liver method": face evergreen green trees, make a "shush" sound, slowly and deeply spit out a bad breath, until the mood improves. The white-collar workers who often work at their desks can put a pot of evergreen plant bonsai, such as aloe vera, beside their computer, which can nourish the eyes and soothe the liver. Zhuge Changqing thinks this method is good and can be tried.

3. From the emotional point of view: the liver qi is happy, so it should not be depressed but should be released. Therefore, in spring, we should pay special attention to mental regulation, keep open mind and optimistic mood, so as to make the liver and blood smooth, and achieve the purpose of disease prevention and health protection.

In short, a normal life, a proper diet and a proper lifestyle are the most basic conditions for human health.

  春三月,此谓发陈,天地俱生,万物以荣;

  夜卧早起,广步于庭,被发缓形,以使志生;
