Tao Te Ching: What is sage and what is the way of heaven

Sages selflessly contribute to the interests of all living beings. Therefore, it is respected. We should learn and practice.

-----Zhuge Changqing

amitabha. Blessed life is limitless.

Buddhism is boundless, and Taoism is natural.

The best good is like water, and the five blessings are at the door.

Many predestined people asked Zhuge Changqing, what is a sage? What is the way of heaven?

Zhuge Changqing believes that:

A saint is a person who selflessly contributes to the common people. As long as you selflessly contribute, you are a saint.

The way of heaven is to benefit all sentient beings without seeking rewards. As long as you benefit all living beings, you are obedient to the law of heaven.

Generally speaking, as long as you stop evil and do good, respect your parents, do good and accumulate virtue, and benefit the people, you are saints, and you are obedient to the law of heaven.

Zhuge Changqing believes that we mortals should learn from sages, the way of heaven, Buddha and Bodhisattva, and contribute to the society and benefit the common people. In this way, our life will have greater significance.

The Tao Te Ching, the incarnation of Lao Tzu, in the last chapter, that is, Chapter 81 of the Tao Te Ching, is devoted to the way of saints and the way of heaven.

In Chapter 81 of the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu summed up the meaning of sage and heaven in three sentences.

1. Bad words and bad words; Those who are good do not argue, and those who argue are not good; Those who know are not knowledgeable.

2. Sages do not accumulate. The more you think of people, the more you have them; With others, we have more.

3. The way of heaven: benefit without harm; The way of saints is to fight for it.

Ren Farong, president of the China Taoist Association, specially explained the meaning in the interpretation of the Tao Te Ching.

1. Bad words and bad words; Those who are good do not argue, and those who argue are not good; Those who know are not knowledgeable.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha; Blessed life is limitless.

The sage's heart is like the way of heaven. He knows the astronomy and the geography, embraces all things in the world, is selfless and fearless, and pays attention to his inner cultivation. With one heart for the common people and all things in the world, he is naturally healthy, long-lived, rich and auspicious, and has natural wisdom like the sea and wisdom like a pearl.

Great ingenuity is like foolishness, great argument is like slowness, and great wisdom is like foolishness. Why say more? Why debate?

Taoist Ren Farong explained the meaning of this sentence:

A man of virtue has a solemn layman and a sincere heart. His words are true and simple, but not pleasant to hear; A man without virtue is impetuous in the outside world and cunning in the heart. His words are pleasant to the ear, but they may not be true and believable.

A man of virtue is full of virtue, restrained with light, and not grandstanding; A man who has no way is wise and eloquent, but he may not be sincere.

The people who practice the Tao, understand the nature of all things and the metaphysics of the universe. They hold the root to control the end, hold the simple to control the complex, hold the outline to open the eyes, and do not run away from the outside. They pursue the superficial external learning, which has its own knowledge but not necessarily broad; A knowledgeable person knows the end but not the origin, and knows the essence but not the essence. Although he is knowledgeable, this is not necessarily true knowledge.

2. Sages do not accumulate. The more you think of people, the more you have them; With others, we have more.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha; Blessed life is limitless.

If you give up, you will get what you give up.

Sages give up their possessions, wisdom and sweat to fight for the world, and naturally win people's praise; The way of heaven selflessly contributes to the common people, and naturally wins people's respect.

Zhuge Changqing believes that setting free, giving food, helping the poor, donating money to help students, donating money to disaster areas, and voluntary blood donation are all acts of giving up good deeds.

Giving up, giving up, is really great wisdom.

Taoist Ren Farong explained the meaning of this sentence:

Sages do not accumulate wealth and have nothing to keep. The greater their contribution to the people, the more satisfied they feel; The more you give to the people, the richer you feel.

3. The way of heaven: benefit without harm; The way of saints is to fight for it.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha; Blessed life is limitless.

In people's minds, God is great and admirable. Why?

Because God is selfless and does not need to return for the benefit of the common people.

Look at those rich and lucky people in life. They are people who benefit the society by themselves or their ancestors.

Taoist Ren Farong explained the meaning of this sentence:

The natural way of heaven is to breed all things without controlling them, which is beneficial to all things without harming them.

The way of saints is to benefit all people without seeking rewards, and to offer for the world without taking.
