Giving food is a good way to do good deeds, accumulate blessings and promote practice.

Giving food is one of the eighty-four thousand Buddhist methods.

To give food, the Buddha Sakyamuni Buddha himself announced that anyone can give food.

If you continue to give food, you will have great merits and great rewards. You can respond to your needs and quickly change your destiny.

Giving food can harmonize the three realms and transcend the nether world.

The "Sweet Dew Taste Classic" says: 'If you can hold this sutra in the afterlife, you should know that people have done it and then take 20 kinds of great blessings together. What is 20?

On the one hand, we are not suffering from hunger, thirst and poverty, disease, and distress.

Both, people have something to eat. If beauty is not, it will become taste.

The third is that the people who enter the wild way, insect poison and herbal medicine can not be hurt.

Fourth, its people, ghosts and gods, the Raksha, the spirit of ghosts and monsters, look like Buddha.

Five, the Buddha and Bodhisattva, the immortal dragon god, protect the eyes.

Six, if their karma is evil, they can't get close to all their diseases.

Seven, their life expectancy is improved, they lie in peace and feel at peace, and they touch auspicious things.

Eighth, his narrow mine field is short of water and grass, which is naturally suitable.

Nine, their head looks happy, their skin is glossy, and there is no evil color.

Ten, they often seek good friends and even Bodhisattva as partners.

Again and again, the person will often live in the Chali Wang family in the future.

Both of them are full of color and vitality.

Third, people often live in front of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

Fourth, the place where the person lies is hidden.

The fifth is that he is always respected and received by others.

Six, he is unable to seize all his treasures.

Seven of them, their wishes are fulfilled.

Eighth, people do not survive with hunger and frugality.

The nine always live in heaven and enjoy honor and victory.

Ten of them are always happy with Dharma and Zen without hunger and thirst. It is for the gathering of twenty great blessings.

The Sutra of Saving and Pulling out the Flames says: After receiving this food, everyone is full. It is all the hungry ghosts who gave up their bodies and were born in heaven. The good gods of the heavens always support, which is to meet the needs of Tantami (almsgiving).

The "Ganlu Sutra of the Hungry Ghost" says: 'Although the reward of Arhat and Bizhi Buddha is limited, they can get 500 people's reward. Good at giving food to hungry ghosts is human blessing, that is, Bodhi. Bodhi is limitless, so it is unlimited. '

According to the "Ganlu Taste Classic", "Ten hungry ghosts are happy to eat. At that time, Shifang Chatu is now praised by the Buddhas at a distance, and the records of Bodhi are repeated and taught at a distance. All Bodhisattvas are happy to love, and all the dragons will each use fragrant flowers, wreaths, and all kinds of tricks and music.

The Sutra of Saving and Pulling out the Flames says: 'When the monks, nuns, Yoposei and Yopoyi recite this secret word, the good root is full. All non-human beings, the Yazha Raksha, all evil ghosts and gods dare not invade. '

Feeding should conform to the ritual, and the effect is good only if it conforms to the ritual.

The disciple is a post-80s generation, who has no high education and has nothing to return to his hometown in Hubei after wandering in the city for many years.

After reading your Sina blog and learning the knowledge of Dharma, I know that the disciples are sinners!

So, in combination with the reality of life, learn from the alms you taught me. My father doesn't strongly oppose my belief in Buddhism, but also doesn't accept it very much. My mother and my husband are willing to believe but don't want to practice immediately, so I always pick the day when my father is not at home and the child is sleeping.

Some are after 3 am, some are after 11 noon, and some are after 10 pm. They have been feeding for more than 10 times. I have some questions about dreams and reality, so I want to tell the teacher, please help me solve my doubts. I conclude as follows:

1. I dreamed that I was working in a supermarket close to the station. A male supervisor gave me some golden oranges and encouraged me to do my job well. When I came home from work, the snow covered the ground. I walked past the pool and there were many big fish.

2. I dreamed of three children and a kind elderly couple. One of them was a girl who helped me cook. The boy was naughty.

Buddha gives food to those who are predestined

Zhuge Changqing replied:

amitabha.

   施食，是佛家八万四千法门之一。

   施食，有佛祖释迦牟尼佛亲自开示，任何人都可以施食。

   持续施食，功德巨大、福报巨大，有求必应，可以迅速改变命运。

   施食，可以和谐三界、超度幽冥。

   《甘露味经》云：‘若当来世能持此经，当知是人已为便摄二十种大福德聚，何谓二十？ 
   一者，现在不为饥渴穷厄，疾病衰祸，恼娆身心。 
   二者，人有所食啖，若美不皆成上味。 
   三者，其人所入野道，虫毒和合草药，终不能伤。 
   四者，其人鬼神罗刹，精魅魍魉，观之如佛。 
   五者，其人诸佛菩萨，天仙龙神，护如眼睛。 
   六者，其人所有疫病，若业若魔，不能近身。 
   七者，其人寿命增进，卧安觉安，触事吉祥。 
   八者，其人隘矿野乏少水草，自然称适。 
   九者，其人头貌怡悦，肤体光泽，无有恶色。 
   十者，其人常逢善友，乃至菩萨为伴侣。 
   复次一者，其人未来常生刹利王家。 
   二者，其人具足色力，寿乐辞辩。 
   三者，其人常生诸佛菩萨前。 
   四者，其人所在之处伏藏自现。 
   五者，其人恒得他人恭敬侍接。 
   六者，其人所有财宝无能夺得。 
   七者，其人意欲所愿悉得称遂。 
   八者，其人不随饥俭劫难生。 
   九者，常生天上受尊胜乐。 
   十者，常以法喜禅悦无饥渴。是为二十种大福德聚。 
   《救拔焰口经》云：受此食已，悉皆饱满。是诸饿鬼等，悉舍鬼身，生于天上。诸天善神恒来拥护，即为满足檀（布施）波罗蜜。 
  《施饿鬼甘露经》云：‘虽施阿罗汉、辟支彿，现受其报有限有量，但得五百劫人天果报。善施饿鬼一揣之食，是人福德即是菩提，菩提者不可限量，是故福寿不可限量。’ 
   《甘露味经》云：‘十方饿鬼，欢喜饮食。当尔之时，十方刹土现在诸佛遥赞行者，复与遥授菩提之记。一切菩萨欢喜爱念，一切天龙各各将香花、璎珞，种种伎乐遥施行者。 
  《救拔焰口经》云：‘比丘、比丘尼、优婆塞、优婆夷诵此密言，善根具足。一切非人，夜叉罗刹，诸恶鬼神不敢侵害。’

    施食，要符合仪轨，符合仪轨效果才好。

   感谢老师教我改运，我学会了施食！

    弟子是一个80后的，因没有高学历，在城市游荡多年后一无所有回到湖北老家种田。

从看了您的新浪博客学习佛法正知识，才知道弟子就是罪人！

于是结合生活实际，学习您教我的施食。我爸不强烈反对我信佛但也不十分接受，我妈和我丈夫愿意相信但不想马上修持，所以我总是挑我父亲不在家而小孩正在睡觉的日子施食。

有早上3点后的，有中午11点后的，有晚上10点后的，施食有10几次了。因做梦和现实有些疑问，所以想告诉老师，请老师帮我解惑。我总结下，有如下：

1、做梦梦到我在离车站很近的超市工作，有个男上司给我几个金黄色的橘子并鼓励我做好工作。下班回家时大雪覆地，我步行路过水池子有很多大鱼。

2.我做梦有3个小孩和一对慈祥长辈夫妇，其中有个女孩还帮我煮饭，男孩调皮。

1、超市工作 = 未来生活富裕、富贵吉祥。

2、上司给你金色橘子 = 福报果报巨大 = 你的施食得到佛菩萨善神加持 = 未来富贵吉祥。

3、大雪覆地= 极乐世界有你的果位 = 功德很大

4、水池子有很多大鱼= 见到极乐世界七宝功德池 = 年年有余 = 富贵吉祥。

二.我做梦有3个小孩和一对慈祥长辈夫妇，其中有个女孩还帮我煮饭，男孩调皮。
