Method of cultivation and improvement: To learn Buddhism, one should cultivate discipline and wisdom (picture)

Abstinence, determination and wisdom are the three words that every person who studies Chinese culture and practices carefully studies and practices.

----Zhuge Changqing

Many Buddhists know that there is a "precept, determination and wisdom".

Abstinence, calmness and wisdom are collectively called the three learning, which is a good way to practice diligently.

Zhuge Changqing believes that if you follow the precepts, stop evil and do good, have a clear and calm heart, and have wisdom to restore your nature, you will be on the road to success.

Discipline is very important.

When the Buddha was in Nirvana, Ananda asked the Buddha on behalf of his disciples, "What is your teacher after Nirvana?"?

Buddha Sakyamuni said, "Take precepts as your teacher.". It shows how important the precepts are.

The Buddha taught us that we need to cultivate these three disciplines:

1. Cultivate precepts - stop evil and do good, prevent crimes such as killing, stealing, lusting and drinking, and improve moral character;

2. Meditation - inner purity, composure, and commitment to inner peace;

3. Cultivation of wisdom - cultivate wisdom, return to self-nature and return to Buddha nature.

The relationship between precepts and wisdom is secondary, that is, gradual.

Zhuge Changqing believes that these three words are the steps of practice----

Keep the precepts and don't make mistakes - your heart will be pure and calm - and you will gradually become wise.

People should first stop evil and do good, and improve their moral character; With virtue, you should try to calm your heart; The mind is calm, and we should further improve our wisdom.

Some classics also divide the three credits into eight parts, which are called "eight paths":

Correct vision, correct thinking, correct language, correct cause, correct life, correct refinement, correct mindfulness and correct meditation.

Among them, the right view and the right thinking belong to wisdom;

Zhengyu, Zhengye and Zhengming belong to Jiexue;

Positive progress, mindfulness and positive determination belong to fixed learning.

That is to say, to practice the Eightfold Path is to cultivate self-discipline and wisdom.

Don't think that practice is sitting on the futon and not eating human fireworks.

The so-called practice is to practice precepts, calmness and wisdom and cultivate morality, calm and wisdom in daily life.

Worries are deeply rooted. It is not easy to get rid of them. It is a long process.

Worry is divided into three levels from coarse to fine, and cultivation is also divided into three stages from low to high. The three stages of practice can remove three levels of worries, namely:

1. Eliminate daily mistakes and worries by keeping precepts;

2. Eliminate the troublesome troubles through meditation;

3. Remove hidden troubles through cultivation.

We often use "precepts and wisdom" to alert ourselves, which will help us to practice.

The contemporary eminent monk Xuanhua preached that "discipline, determination and wisdom":

Discipline, determination and wisdom are the three no-leakage learning that a man of practice must have.

1、 About precepts.

Although there are five precepts, ten precepts, bodhisattva precepts and so on, the most basic ones are the five precepts, namely, abstaining from killing, stealing, immorality, false talk and drinking. If you can keep the precepts, you will not commit crimes.

2、 About Ding.

What is "fixed"? Generally speaking, it is meditation.

In a broad sense, it means unchanged. Some people practice and have a lot of delusions. Today they meditate, and tomorrow they hear that the merit of chanting Buddha is great, so they give up meditation and chant Buddha. Two days later they hear that the merit of chanting mantras is great, so they chant mantras instead of chanting Buddha.

Such as that, if you practice this method today and that method tomorrow, you will achieve nothing.

Some people are exposed to the extreme cold of chanting Buddha and Bodhisattva, and will not chant today or tomorrow. This is because they have no concentration. Meditation is very important for our practice. If we don't have it, then we will not be able to practice. Moreover, we will be easily tempted to fall because of the lack of concentration and the weakness of the Tao.

3、 About Hui.

Speaking of "wisdom", it is wisdom. There are wise and foolish people in the world. Why on earth are some people clever while others are stupid? Of course, there is cause and effect. Those who practice and recite Buddhism in the past life have more wisdom in this life; On the contrary, if one has not planted a good root, wisdom will be inferior to others.

"University" says: "You can be calm after you have settled down, you can be calm after you have settled down, you can be safe after you have settled down, you can worry after you have settled down, and you can get after you have considered".

Therefore, "wisdom" can also be generated from "determination". If you are not "determined", how can you calmly distinguish right from wrong and understand the truth when you are full of distractions and toil?

"Caution" is a law to prevent us from committing crimes; In the absence of crime, we have to practice Taoism.

The secret of cultivation is "concentration".

With concentration, wisdom can be generated, and the Tao can be further improved and Buddhahood can be achieved.

The three words "precept and wisdom" are necessary for a man of practice. If you don't keep the precepts, you will commit crimes and recruit businesses; Without concentration, you will not be able to practice; Without wisdom, you will be foolish and ignorant.

I urge all of you here to use the three words "precept and wisdom" as the motto of cultivation and often use them to guard yourself. Then, I believe it will be helpful for cultivation.

Nanwu Master Sakyamuni Buddha

amitabha. amitabha. amitabha. amitabha.

Blessed life is limitless. Confucius, the supreme teacher of Dacheng. Jesus. Mohammed.

All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three generations in ten directions.

All immortals in the three realms and ten directions.

All sages at all times and in all countries.

Don't do any evil, and do all good. Persistence and responsiveness.

Zhuge Changqing wishes all the people who are destined to respect their parents and do good deeds and accumulate virtue rich and auspicious!



修行精进方法:学佛要修戒定慧(图) 



戒、定、慧,是每位学习国学的人、修行的人认真研究实践的三个字。

   很多学佛的人,都知道有个“戒、定、慧”。

   戒、定、慧合称为三学,是精进修行的好方法。

    诸葛长青认为,如果你做到了遵守戒律止恶行善、内心清净有定力、富有智慧恢复本性,就走在了成功路上。

    戒律很重要。

    当年佛祖涅槃之时,阿难代表弟子问佛祖,您涅槃之后,以什么为师?

    佛祖释迦牟尼佛曰:以戒律为师。可见戒律多么重要。

    佛陀教导我们需要培育的就是这三学

   1. 修——止恶行善,预防杀盗妄淫酒等过错,进而完善道德品行;

   2. 修——内心清净,具备定力,致力于内心平静;

   3. 修——培育智慧,回归自性,回归本身佛性。

   戒定慧三学是次第的关系,即循序渐进的关系。

   诸葛长青认为,这三个字,是修行的台阶----

   遵守戒律不犯错---内心就会清净具有定力----就会慢慢有智慧。

   人要先要止恶行善,完善自己的品德;有了品德,就应尝试让自己的心平静;内心平静了,应进一步提升智慧。

  有些经典也将戒定慧三学分为八个部分,称为“八正道”:

  正见、正思惟,正语、正业、正命,正精进、正念和正定。

  其中,正见和正思惟属于慧学;

  正语、正业和正命属于戒学;

  正精进、正念与正定属于定学。

   也就是说:修习八正道,即是在培育戒定慧。

  不要认为修行就是枯坐蒲团、不吃人间烟火。

  所谓的修行,就是日常吃饭穿衣生活中,修习戒、定、慧,培育品德、平静和智慧。

   烦恼根深蒂固,想要断除烦恼不是件轻而易举、想断就断的事,它是一个漫长的过程。

   烦恼由粗到细分三个层次,修行也是由低到高分三个阶段。修行的三个阶段分别可以去除三个层次的烦恼,即:

   1. 通过持戒-----去除日常错误烦恼;

   2. 通过修定----去除困扰性烦恼;

   3. 通过修慧----去除潜伏性烦恼。

   常常拿“戒定慧”来警惕自己,这对于修行是会有所帮助的。

   当代高僧宣化上人开示说“戒、定、慧”说:

   戒、定、慧三无漏学,是修行人所必须具有的。

   一、关于戒。

   戒,虽然有五戒、十戒、菩萨戒等等,然而最基本的,要算是五戒,那就是戒杀、戒盗、戒邪淫、戒妄语、戒饮酒。能持戒,就不会造罪。

    二、关于定。

    什么是“定”呢?照普通来说,就是禅定。

   范围广一点来说,就是不变的意思。有些人修行,妄想很多,今天参禅,明天听说念佛的功德大,于是便舍参禅而念佛,过两天又听说念咒的功德殊胜,于是又不念佛而念咒。

   诸如此类,今天修这个法门,明天又修那个法门,结果一事无成。

   又有些人对于念佛和念菩萨,一曝十寒,今天念,明天便不念,这都是没有定力的缘故。定力对于我们修行,是非常重要的,如果没有定力,那么,修道一定不成,而且也会因为缺乏定力、道心不坚的缘故,很容易受到外来的引诱而堕落。

   三、关于慧。

  说到“慧”,就是智慧。世界上的人,有贤愚之分,究竟为什么有些人聪明,而有些人却愚痴?当然有其中的因果。凡是在过去生中修行念佛的人,今生较有智慧;反之,不曾种下善根的,智慧便逊人一筹了。

   《大学》里说:“定而后能静,静而后能安,安而后能虑,虑而后能得”。

   所以由“定”中,也可以产生出“慧”。若是不“定”的话,那么杂念丛生,奔波劳碌,又怎能冷静地判别是非、明白真理呢?

   “戒”,是一种规律,防止我们犯罪的;在不犯罪中,我们又要修道。

   而修道的秘诀是“定力”。

   有了定力,便能产生智慧,更能进一步地了道,成佛。

   “戒定慧”这三个字,是修行人所必须具有的条件。不持戒,就会造罪招业;缺乏了定力,就会修道不成;没有智慧,便会愚痴无知。

   我劝在座各位,都能把“戒定慧”这三个字,作为修道的座右铭,常常拿来警惕自己,那么,我相信对于修行,是会有点帮助的。

 南无本师释迦牟尼佛

阿弥陀佛。阿弥陀佛。阿弥陀佛。阿弥陀佛。

福生无量天尊。大成至圣先师孔子。耶稣。穆罕默德。

十方三世诸佛菩萨。

三界十方一切神仙。

古今中外一切圣贤。

 

恶莫作,众善奉行。持之以恒、有求必应
