Who is the Taoist god of vehicles: the god of vehicles is Xi Zhong道教车神是谁:车神是奚仲

Who is the god of vehicles among the Chinese Taoist gods and immortals? It is Xi Zhong.

----- Zhuge Changqing

There are many Chinese Taoist gods and goddesses.

Who is the Chinese god of vehicles?

Zhuge Changqing: The Chinese Taoist god of vehicles is Xi Zhong.

Four thousand years ago, during the Xia Yu period, Xi Zhong invented the world's first carriage in the ancient kingdom of Xue, and he is known as the ancestor of carriage, the god of carriage and the sage of carriage.

Xi Zhong's carriage making became one of the most important symbols of Chinese civilisation.

Xi Zhong was a great inventor in ancient China and is the ancestor of the Chinese surnames Xi, Ren and Xue.

Xi Zhong's greatest contribution to mankind was the invention of the world's first horse-drawn carriage, and he is therefore known as the ancestor of the car, the sage of the car and the god of the car.

Located in Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, the Symposium on Xi Zhong Culture, co-organised by the Chinese Society of Pre-Qin History, the Chinese Association for the Promotion of Cultural Industries, the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, the Entrepreneurs' Association of the European and American Associations and the People's Government of Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City, was held in Zaozhuang, where experts and scholars discussed the development and utilisation of Xi Zhong culture and the construction of the Chinese Che Ancestor Garden. The seminar was held in Zaozhuang, where experts and scholars discussed the development and utilization of Xi Zhong culture and the construction of the Chinese Car Ancestor's Garden.

How did Xi Zhong invent the car?

When Xi Zhong helped Dayu to heal the water, he often relied on a few rolling logs underneath to move forward, which opened Xi Zhong's mind.

No wheel is a car, but a car must have a wheel. Xi Zhong transformed the round eye into a wheel and created unicycles, two-wheeled carts, wheelbarrows and horse-drawn carts. With the wheels rolling towards the sky, people no longer had to carry the weight on their shoulders.

The king was so pleased that he made Xi Zhong the head of the chariots and horses. His son, Ji Guang, took over and invented the spokes. From one generation to the next, vehicles became more and more sophisticated.

Xi Zhong's contribution to the invention of the car was no less than that of the "Four Great Inventions", and later generations built a shrine to Xi Gong to worship him all year round for safe travel. Books such as Zuo Zhuan, Mo Zi and Lu Shi Chun Qiu all contain historical records of his car making. The folk proverb "Worship Xi Zhong and travel safely" has been passed down to this day.

The Chinese Society for the History of the First Qin and others jointly issued a plaque for Xuecheng District as "the ancestor of car making, the hometown of Xi Zhong", confirming that "the ancestor of car making, the hometown of Xi Zhong" is in Xi Village, Xuecheng, Zaozhuang. The legend of Xi Zhong, the god of cars, has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage in Shandong Province. | Xi Zhong

In order to make the brand of Xi Zhong bigger, Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang, Shandong Province, has been digging deep and vigorously developing Xi Zhong culture, covering an area of 4,100 mu, completed in three phases of construction, with a total investment of over 50 million yuan, the "Chinese Che Ancestor Court" has started construction. The "Chinese Car Ancestor Garden" is located in the Xi Gong Mountain in Tao Zhuang Town, Xue Cheng District, which is said to be the birthplace of Xi Zhong's car making, and is also the main area where Xi Zhong's activities have been recorded.

The TV series "Xi Zhong, the God of Cars" is being filmed and produced. Based on the life story of Xi Zhong, an ancient inventor, the drama tells the story of Xi Zhong, who invented the world's first horse-drawn carriage when Dayu was healing water, helping him not only to heal water efficiently, but also to establish the Xia Dynasty.

The opening ceremony of the first domestic film reflecting the story of the ancient era, Xi Zhong, the God of Carriage, was held in Xue Cheng, Zaozhuang, Shandong Province, with director Li Kelong appearing in full with the main cast including Shang Hua, Tan Jianchang, Guo Jinjie and Zhang Hao, and two artists, Hou Yaohua and Liu Lanfang, coming to support the film. As the first film set in ancient times in China, "Xi Zhong, the God of Che" is a bold experiment in costume, make-up and scenery, and the actors will even wear animal skins and leaves to restore the humanities at the end of primitive society. Talking about the choice of this subject, director Li Kelong said, "There is no film in China that reflects this historical era at the end of primitive society, and this film was also made to let modern people enjoy the convenience of cars while being able to understand that Xi Zhong, the originator of cars, was our Chinese."

The costumes, make-up and scenes in Xi Zhong can be described as "unprecedented", "4300 years ago in the ancient times, there is a lot of room for imagination, our costumes, make-up and scenes are never seen in previous film and television productions."

Li Kelong revealed that the main actors in the film will wear animal skins and leaves, carry shell necklaces, and wear long hair to most realistically restore the appearance and temperament of people at the end of primitive society. The crew will also build large scenes including a type of thatched hut, costing 50% of the total investment of more than 16 million, in an effort to create the atmosphere of ancient times. In addition to filming in Xi Zhong's hometown of Zaozhuang in Shandong, the film will also be set in Sichuan and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan to showcase the pure nature of the area.
