   Jeremy Shu-Ho Lin (林书豪), born in California on 23 August 1988, is an American professional basketball player, mainly a point guard, with a height of 191 cm and a weight of 91 kg. He is originally from Zhangpu County, Fujian Province. His grandparents moved to Changhua, Taiwan, and his parents immigrated to the United States in 1977.

  Lin graduated from Harvard University, where he led the Harvard basketball team to the Ivy League division championship and the NCAA Top 64, and later signed with the Golden State Warriors, becoming the first Harvard student to enter the NBA since 1953; the first Chinese-American player to enter the NBA. on 27 December 2011, he signed with the New York Knicks. in the summer of 2012, Lin signed a three-year deal with the Houston Rockets on a three-year contract.

  Jeremy Lin is a Chinese-American, originally from Zhangpu County, Fujian Province, whose ancestors moved to Changhua, Taiwan, and whose parents were both from Taiwan, China, and had earlier immigrated to the United States. Born in California, Lin is 191 centimeters tall (6 feet 3 inches), a Harvard graduate who majored in economics and minored in sociology, and was captain of the varsity basketball team as a point guard.

  Zhuge Changqing: A great blessing for good deeds. Zhuge Changqing once said that after doing good deeds and accumulating virtue, the Yin virtue will turn into a merit factor that exists in the universe and turn into blessings at any time. Lin was born in the United States after his ancestors were in mainland China and his parents immigrated to the United States after they were in Taiwan. Moreover, Lin is now a Christian. Wherever Lin's family is, as long as they continue to do good deeds, the yin virtue of his ancestors will always follow the family, catalyzing Lin's family's blessings and blessing Lin's family's career to take off.

  Lin's parents have three sons, with Lin being the second born and raised in Palo Alto, California, USA. His brother, Lin Shu Ya, is currently studying dentistry at New York University. His brother, Lin Shuwei, is currently a member of the varsity basketball team at Hamilton College in New York, one of the top 25 liberal arts colleges in the country.

  His father, Lin Jiming, was born in Beidou Township, Changhua County, Taiwan, and is a semiconductor engineer from Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. His mother, Shin-Shin Wu, is from Pinghu, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, and is a computer software engineer. He usually does a lot of good deeds and is in charge of a charity scholarship programme in his ancestral hometown.

   Lin's maternal great-grandfather, Chen Weijian (character Lianzhai), was a well-known newspaper publisher in Zhejiang Province.

  In 1897, Chen Weijian, together with Cai Bohua, Zhang Jixun and Zhang Fuzai, founded the first newspaper in the Jiaxing area, the Pinghu Vernacular Newspaper, with a small sunrise sheet and Chen Weijian as its manager.

  During his lifetime, Chen Weijian was actively engaged in social welfare work in Xincang Township of Pinghu. In addition to building lecture halls and sports grounds, he also initiated public welfare activities such as fund-raising for the construction of a school for students from outside the Luchuan Brigade.

  Lin's grandmother, Chen Yizi, was a doctor from Xincang Town, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, and was a keen supporter of public welfare. Lin's grandmother, Chen Yizi, set up the [Chen Weijian Shen Xueru Scholarship] named after her parents at Pinghu Middle School in 1998. Since 2008, this scholarship has continued to be offered, mainly by Lin's parents, due to the advanced age of Lin's grandmother.

  Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha Buddha, when we look at the size of a person's success, we can measure it by how much good deeds his grandparents have done. We see that Lin's maternal great-grandfather, grandmother and parents have done good deeds and saved suffering throughout his life, how much merit would you say? Donating money to his hometown secondary school for dozens of years, how much merit do you think? Lin came into the world at birth with the blessings of his ancestors. Can he not be successful?

  Although Lin was born in the United States to Taiwanese parents, he has a deep affection for his hometown, Pinghu, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, where he is originally from.

  Not only is Lin a good ball player and a good student, he has often done community service in the slums since his high school days. After college, he didn't have time to do that again as he had to juggle both school and basketball, but he and his family would go back to his hometown of Pinghu every summer to donate money and teach ball skills to local students.

  Zhuge Changqing: Doing good deeds and accumulating virtue is the foundation of success, ah. Let's look at Lin himself. At a young age, he knows how to do more good deeds. Firstly, he often volunteers in poor areas to help the underprivileged; secondly, he often goes back to his hometown to make donations and do good deeds. Amitabha Buddha, how can such a good young man not be successful? Throughout history, we find that successful people have always done good deeds combined with hard work.

  林书豪，堪称青年华人的杰出代表。

   林书豪（Jeremy Shu-How Lin），1988年8月23日生于美国加州，美国职业篮球运动员，主打控球后卫，身高191厘米，体重91公斤。祖籍福建省漳浦县，祖辈移居台湾彰化，父母1977年移民美国。

  林书豪，美籍华裔，祖籍福建省漳浦县，祖辈移居台湾彰化，父母都是中国台湾人并且早前就移民去了美国。林书豪在加州出生，身高191公分（6英尺3英寸），哈佛大学毕业生，主修经济学，副修社会学，在校期间是校篮球队的队长，司职控球后卫。

  诸葛长青：行善积德福报巨大啊。诸葛长青曾说过，行善积德后，阴德就会变成功德因子存在宇宙中，随时变成福报。林书豪祖辈在中国大陆、父母在台湾后移民美国、他出生在美国。而且，林书豪现在还信的是基督教，不论林书豪一家人在哪里，只要他们持续行善，祖辈的阴德一直跟随他们一家，催动林书豪一家的福报，护佑林书豪一家事业腾飞。

  林书豪的父母育有三子，林书豪排行第二，在美国加州帕罗奥图出生长大。其兄林书雅目前在纽约大学就读牙医专业。其弟林书伟，现正就读排名全美前二十五名文理科大学的纽约汉弥敦学院，也是篮球校队成员。

  父亲林继明出生于台湾彰化县北斗镇，祖籍福建省漳州市漳浦县，是一名半导体工程师。母亲吴信信祖籍浙江省嘉兴市平湖，是一名电脑软件工程师。平时多做善事，而且负责祖辈老家的慈善奖学金项目。

   林书豪的外曾祖父，是浙江知名办报人陈惟俭（字廉斋），生前，系浙江名流。

  光绪二十三年（1897年），陈惟俭与蔡伯华、张继勋、张馥哉在平湖创办了日出一小张的嘉兴地区第一份报纸《平湖白话报》，并由陈惟俭任经理。

  陈惟俭生前曾在平湖新仓镇积极从事社会公益事业，除建造讲演厅、运动场，还亲自发起芦川旅外学生募捐建校等公益活动。

  林书豪外婆陈意子为浙江嘉兴平湖新仓镇人，医生，热心公益，曾为家乡平湖中学捐款助学数十载。林书豪的外婆陈意子，1998年在平湖中学设立了以她父母名字命名的[陈惟俭沈雪如奖学金]，自2008年后，由于林书豪外婆年事已高，主要由林书豪的父母负责，目前这个奖学金仍在持续提供。

  诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛，我们看一个人的成功大小，从他祖辈做善事多少就可以衡量出来。我们看到，林书豪的外曾祖父、外婆、父母等，一生行善积德、救苦救难，你说功德多大？为家乡中学捐款数十载，你说功德多大？林书豪一出生就带着祖辈的福报而来到人世间。能不成功吗？

  林书豪虽然出生在美国，父母都是台湾人，但是祖籍浙江嘉兴平湖的他对故乡有着深深的感情。

  林书豪不但球技好，品学兼优，从高中时代就经常去贫民区做社区服务，大学之后由于要兼顾学业和篮球两方面没有时间再做那些，不过他和他的家人每年暑假都会回老家平湖，捐款并向当地的学生传授球技。

  诸葛长青：行善积德，是成功的基础啊。我们再来看林书豪自己，年纪轻轻的，就知道多做善事。一是经常去贫困区做志愿服务义工，帮助弱者；二是经常回老家捐款，并作善事。阿弥陀佛，这样的好青年，如何不成功呢？纵览古今历史，我们发现，成功者都是行善积德加上努力奋斗。

 戒杀与放生的行为包括哪些

 1. Do not kill a living being with your own hands.

　　2. Do not abet others to kill.

　　3. Do not help others to kill.

　　4. Abstain from eating meat.

　　5. Do not engage in trades related to killing.

　　6、Whenever there is worship, regardless of what is being worshipped, use vegetarian dishes, flowers and fruit, not animal gifts.

　　7. If you see someone killing a human being, you should discourage them or buy the animal to be slaughtered with money and release it. If this does not work, or if the person does not sell the animal, then you should have compassion for the slaughtered animal, and even better if you can recite the Buddha's name or mantra for it.

　　8. Do not abuse the animal.

　　9、Other actions that are contrary to killing.

　　10. Abstain from killing and releasing animals yourself, and advise others to do the same. 

   1、不亲手杀生。

　　2、不教唆别人杀生。

　　3、不帮助别人杀生。

　　4、戒除肉食。

　　5、不从事与杀生有关的行业。

　　6、凡有祭拜，不管拜的是什么，一律用素菜、鲜花、水果，不用牲礼。

　　7、见人杀生，应加劝阻，或用钱将临宰之动物买而放之。若劝阻无效，或他不卖，则应对被杀之动物起同情心，若能为它念佛号或往生咒更好。

　　8、不虐待动物。

　　9、其他与杀生行为相反之行为。

　　10、自己戒杀放生，也劝别人戒杀放生。
