Why do you shed tears when you see Buddha's statues and sutras?
Amitabha Buddha, all those who shed tears at the sight of Buddha statues and sutras have a recurring Buddhist destiny.
----- Zhuge Changqing
Hello Mr. Zhuge Changqing.
1. When I first started listening to others recite the Vajra Sutra, I kept shedding tears. Why is this? Why do I have tears in my eyes?
2. Hello teacher, why do I cry when I see a statue of Buddha or Bodhisattva in a temple?
Buddhist learners and worshippers
Teacher Zhuge Changqing answers.
Greetings Amitabha Buddha.
The fact that you shed tears when you see the sutras and statues of the Buddha means that you have had a cumulative Buddha karma.
There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is the reminder of the experience of studying Buddhism over many lifetimes.
(Zhuge Changqing: the seeds of Buddhahood were planted in his life, and today they are about to sprout and bear fruit)
1. Human beings are only one experience in the six paths of rebirth. If one does not become a Buddha, then one has to go through the six rebirths. In the six paths of rebirth, one may have had the opportunity to come into contact with Buddhism.
What is the Six Paths of Reincarnation? The Six Paths of Reincarnation, also known as the Six Interests, the Six Mortalities or the Six Paths.
The six paths are the paths of reincarnation for all beings.
The six paths can be divided into three good paths and three evil paths.
The three good paths are heaven, man and asura.
The three evil paths are the animal, the hungry ghost and the hell.
Asuras, though good, are not heavenly because they are not as virtuous as heaven, and are sometimes included in the three evil paths because they suffer more than humans, collectively known as the four evil paths.
Buddhism believes that if a person observes the five precepts, he or she will be able to attain the Six Perfections.
If one adds the ten good deeds to the five precepts, one can be born in the heavenly realms.
2. If the person has learnt Buddhism, read the sutras, worshipped Buddha statues, spared life, heard Buddhist sutras, printed sutras, had Buddhist Taoist experiences, etc. in his or her repeated lives, he or she will shed tears when seeing Buddhist sutras and statues.
3. If one has studied a particular sutra in one's lifetime, one will shed tears at the sight of a sutra in this life.
The first questioner said, "When I first started to listen to others recite the Vajra Sutra, I always shed tears", which means that he has practised, read or listened to the Vajra Sutra in his past lives.
When he encounters the Vajra Sutra in his present life, he suddenly recalls his memories of listening to and studying the Sutra in his past lives, and thus he weeps.
The second reason: the induction of returning to Buddhahood.
(Zhuge Changqing: Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha discovered that everyone can become a Buddha)
1. The first words of the Buddha Shakyamuni Buddha after his epiphany into Buddhahood were: "All beings on earth have the virtue of Buddha's wisdom, but with delusional attachment, they cannot attain it". These words tell people that everyone has the root of Buddhahood, but is only blocked by the confusion of accumulated experiences on earth.
2. A person's Buddha nature being blocked is like a piece of gold that is covered with oil. It is like a person entering a primeval forest, confused and disoriented and lost.
3. To see sutras and statues that bring tears to one's eyes is to find the original Buddha nature. It is like a person who has been lost for ten days and then suddenly meets a guide and finds the right path. It is like walking in the darkness of the night and seeing the light in front of you, so you are moved to tears. The day when tears are shed is the day when the Buddha and Bodhisattvas are enlightened.
4. If you feel yourself shedding tears, then you should meditate on Buddhism, do good deeds and improve yourself. Do more penance, let go, give food, vegetarian food to do good deeds and accumulate virtue, so that you can quickly restore your original Buddha nature.
5, Zhuge Changqing teacher reminded: all chanting, chanting sutra, burning incense, giving food, releasing life, must follow the principle of "first back to yourself + then back to others". First return the merits to your own wrongdoers and then to others.
Amitabha Buddha, Buddha's karma, is the origin of Buddhist studies.
If you do good deeds and accumulate virtue, you will be blessed. If you are diligent, you will become a Buddha.
The sutras, the great wisdom of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, are recited consistently and have incredible fruit.
With firm faith and perseverance, you will make a leap.
Do good deeds and accumulate virtue, and you will be blessed.
Zhuge Changqing
Don't do evil, practice all good deeds, keep releasing life persistently, and you will get what you ask for. As long as you continue to release the living beings, give food, chant the Buddha's name, do good deeds, etc. and carefully return the blessings, you will get a miraculous result in as fast as three days, in the middle of three months or as slow as three years.
Here are the basics of Buddhism. Please take a careful look at the following for those who are studying Buddhism for the first time.

7、The Four Sutras of the Three Worlds of Cause and Effect, Shoukang Baojian, and Yuji Baoji
三善道为天、人、阿修罗;

What are the acts of abstaining from killing and releasing
1. Do not kill a living being with your own hands.
2. Do not abet others to kill.
3. Do not help others to kill.
4. Abstain from eating meat.
5. Do not engage in trades related to killing.
6、Whenever there is worship, regardless of what is being worshipped, use vegetarian dishes, flowers and fruit, not animal gifts.
7. If you see someone killing a human being, you should discourage them or buy the animal to be slaughtered with money and release it. If this does not work, or if the person does not sell the animal, then you should have compassion for the slaughtered animal, and even better if you can recite the Buddha's name or mantra for it.
8. Do not abuse the animal.
9、Other actions that are contrary to killing.
10. Abstain from killing and releasing animals yourself, and advise others to do the same.
