One of the four famous Taoist mountains is Qingcheng Mountain in Sichuan.

------Zhuge Changqing

Taoism is one of the major religions in China. Zhang Daoling was first founded in Heming Mountain in Sichuan during Emperor Shun of the Eastern Han Dynasty and became popular in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. The Taoist disciples respectfully called Zhang Daoling, one of the founders, as the Heavenly Master, so they were also called the "Heavenly Master Way". Later, it was divided into many factions. Taoism regards Laozi as the ancestor of Taoism and calls him "the Supreme Lord".

Taoism is Qingcheng Mountain in Sichuan, Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi, Wudang Mountain in Hubei and Qiyun Mountain in Anhui.

The first mountain of Taoism: Qingcheng Mountain in Sichuan.

Qingcheng Mountain is located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. The main peak, Laoxiaoding, is 1260 meters above sea level (2007).

Qingcheng Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain in China and one of the birthplace of Taoism in China. It has been more than 2000 years since the Eastern Han Dynasty.

In the second year of Han'an, Emperor Shun of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 143), Zhang Ling, the "Heavenly Master", came to Qingcheng Mountain. He chose the deep and elegant Qingcheng Mountain to preach, and Qingcheng Mountain became the birthplace of Taoism and the ancestral mountain of the Heavenly Master Way. The Heavenly Masters from all over the country came to Qingcheng Mountain to worship the ancestral court.

Zhuge Changqing: Qingcheng Mountain is the birthplace of Taoism.

The whole mountain is green with evergreen trees all the year round. The peaks are surrounded by each other, and the shape is like a city outline, so it is named Qingcheng Mountain.

With thousands of steps, winding paths lead to seclusion. It wins with seclusion and purity. It has been known as "the world is secluded in Qingcheng" since ancient times.

It is as famous as the danger of Jianmen, the beauty of Emei and the majesty of Kuimen.

It is said that "worship Dujiangyan and ask Qingcheng Mountain".

The Taoist temples in the whole mountain take Tianshi Cave as the core, including Jianfu Palace, Shangqing Palace, Ancestral Hall, Yuanming Palace, Laojun Pavilion, Yuqing Palace, Chaoyang Cave, etc., and dozens of Taoist temples have been well preserved.

Zhuge Changqing: Taoism is China's native religion.

    道教是中国主要宗教之一。由张道陵于东汉顺帝时首创于四川鹤鸣山，到南北朝时盛行起来。道教徒尊称创立者之一张道陵为天师，因而又叫“天师道”。后又分化为许多派别。道教奉老子为教祖，尊称他为“太上老君”。

   道教是四川的青城山、江西龙虎山、湖北武当山、安徽齐云山。　

   道教第一山：四川青城山。

   青城山位于四川省都江堰市西南，主峰老霄顶海拔1260米(2007年)。

   青城山上中国著名的道教名山，中国道教的发源地之一，自东汉以来历经二千多年。

   东汉顺帝汉安二年（公元143年），“天师”张陵来到青城山，选中青城山的深幽涵碧，结茅传道，青城山遂成为道教的发祥地，成为天师道的祖山，全国各地历代天师均来青城山朝拜祖庭。

   诸葛长青：青城山是道教的发祥地。

   全山林木青翠，四季常青，诸峰环峙，状若城廓，故名青城山。

   丹梯千级，曲径通幽，以幽洁取胜，自古就有“青城天下幽”的美誉。

   与剑门之险，峨眉之秀，夔门之雄齐名。

   素有“拜水都江堰，问道青城山”之说。

    全山的道教宫观以天师洞为核心，包括建福宫、上清宫、祖师殿、圆明宫、老君阁、玉清宫、朝阳洞等至今完好地保存有数十座道教宫观。

   诸葛长青：道教是中国的本土宗教。
