Rigidity and softness are the images of day and night.

The movement of the six trigrams is the way of the three poles.

Therefore, if a gentleman lives in peace, the order of change is the same. Those who enjoy and play are also the words of Yao. Therefore, a gentleman's residence looks at its image and plays with its words; Move to see its change, and play its occupation. Therefore, it is blessed by God.

Zhuge Changqing believed that the Eight Diagrams of Yin and Yang were the magic weapon of Emperor Fuxi to protect the Chinese nation. We Chinese people should learn and inherit them carefully.

在孔子编辑定稿的《易经.系辞》中，诸葛长青看到伏羲大帝推出阴阳八卦、运用阴阳八卦的原因：

圣人设卦观象，系辞焉而明吉凶，刚柔相推而生变化。

是故，吉凶者，失得之象也。

悔吝者，忧虞之象也。

变化者，进退之象也。

刚柔者，昼夜之象也。

六爻之动，三极之道也。

是故，君子所居而安者，易之序也。 所乐而玩者，爻之辞也。是故，君子居则观其象，而玩其辞； 动则观其变，而玩其占。 是故自天佑之，吉无不利。

诸葛长青认为，阴阳八卦，是伏羲大帝保护中华民族的法宝，我们中华儿女都要认真学习传承好。
