《佛说造塔功德经》说造塔功德无量福报利益

amitabha. Blessed life is limitless. Making pagodas and statues of Buddha is immeasurable.

Make pagodas, statues, stone tablets and stone carvings, promote the Dharma and benefit life, and have boundless merit and virtue.

Making pagodas, statues, stone tablets and stone carvings is a good way to change fate.

No matter how much money you have, you can make it. If you have more money, you can make it bigger. If you have less money, you can make it smaller.

Carving a few Buddhist statues, placing a few Buddhist names, placing a few Buddhist sayings, and placing a few Buddhist sutras can all play a role in promoting the Dharma and benefiting the life.

Zhuge Changqing believed that the carved ones could be donated to temples, monasteries and places of practice, and could be consecrated by themselves.

It can be placed in the mountains and forests, and donated to the cultivators. Its merits and virtues are boundless.

What is the merit of making pagodas, statues, stone tablets and stone carvings?

Guanyin Bodhisattva personally invited the Buddha Sakyamuni Buddha to give instructions.

Therefore, there is the Sutra "The Merit and Virtue Sutra of Building Towers".

This sutra is famous all over the world in several words:

All laws are born by reason,

As I said, the fate has ended.

Zhuge Changqing shared Sakyamuni Buddha's "Sutra of Merit and Virtue for Building Pagodas" with those who were destined.

Translated by Dibhala, a Buddhist monk of the Three Zangs in the Middle Tang Dynasty

This is what I heard: for a time, the Buddha was on the white jade seat of the Trayana Heavenly Palace, with the great monk, the great bodhisattva, and the other God. At that time, the Great Brahma Heavenly King, Narayan Heavenly King, Dazizai Heavenly King, and the Five Gandhara King, all with their relatives, came to the Buddha's house to ask the Tathagata how to build the tower and the amount of merit and virtue generated by the tower.

At the meeting, there was a Bodhisattva named Guanshiyin, who knew his meaning, that is, from his seat, leaning on his right shoulder, landing on his right knee, and closing his palms to the Buddha and saying, "Blessed One, the heavens and Gandha have come here for this reason. I would like to ask the Tathagata to build the tower and the amount of merit and virtue generated by the tower. Only wish the Blessed One to explain for him and benefit all sentient beings!"

Then, Buddha told Avalokitesvara: "Good man, if there is no tower in the present and all living beings in the future, the person who can be built in it will be as high as the three realms, even as small as the fruit of the temple; all the tables and the brake will be as small as the needle, even as small as the Brahma; all the wheels will cover the other thousand, even as small as the date leaf; hide the Tathagata in the tower, and all the relics, hair teeth, moustache and claws will be as low as one point, or put all the twelve sutras in the Tathagata As for the first four sentences. His merit and virtue are like that of Brahman, who was born in Brahman after his death; The five pure residences are the same as those in the heavens! The good man, as I said, is the result of his merit and virtue. You should learn. "

At that time, Avalokitesvara said to the Buddha, "Buddha, as you said, I have been blessed with the placement of Buddhist relics and Dharma. Without reviewing the meaning of the four sentences of the Tathagata, I only wish to speak separately for me."

At that time, the Buddha said:

All laws are born by reason,

As I said, the fate has ended.

"Good man, if he is a Buddhist dharma body, you should write it in the pagoda. Why? All the causes and the dharma nature generated are empty, so I call it dharma body. If all sentient beings understand the meaning of such causes, they should know that they are people."

At that time, Avalokitesvara, the other heavens, all the people, and Gandha, all heard what the Buddha said, and all were happy and believed in it.

This is what I have heard personally: for a time, Buddha An was on the white jade seat in the Trayana Heavenly Palace, meeting with the Great Buddha, the Great Bodhisattva, and Trayana with the infinite masses every day.

At the right time, the Great Brahman, Narayan, Dazizai, and the five Gandava kings, together with their relatives, came to the Buddha to ask the Tathagata how to build the tower and the number of merits generated by the tower.

At this gathering, a Bodhisattva named Avalokitesvara, knew their intention to see the Buddha, that is, from the neutral position of the seat, leaning to the right shoulder, landing on the right knee, and clasping their hands, said to the Buddha, "Blessed One! Now these heavenly beings, Gandha, and others come here because they want to ask the Tathagata how to build the tower, and the merits and virtues of the tower, only wish the Blessed One to explain for them, in order to benefit all sentient beings."

At this time, The Buddha told Avalokitesvara: "Good man! If all the present and all the living beings in the future in this Dharma meeting can build a pagoda in the place where they are, and where there is no pagoda, no matter whether the shape of these pagodas is superb, beyond everything in the three realms, they are as small as the fruit of the temple; or all the surface brakes of the pagoda are as high as Brahma, or even as small as a needle; or all the wheel covers are so large that they can cover thousands of generations The world is even as small as jujube leaves; If you can hide all the Buddhist relics of the Tathagata in these towers, such as hair, teeth, moustache and claws, down to one minute, or place all the twelve sutras of the Tathagata, down to a paragraph of four verses, and so on, the merit and virtue of the person is just like that of Brahman, who was born in Brahman after his death, and died in Brahman's heaven, and then died in the Five Pure Living Days, which is no different from these heavens.

Good man! As I said, this is the measure of merit and virtue for the construction of these towers. You should learn. "

At this time, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva also told the Buddha, "Blessed One, as said before, I have believed in the placement of Buddhist relics and the Buddha Dharma, but I still do not understand the meaning of the four verses of the Buddha, but I wish the Buddha would speak for me separately."

At this time, the Blessed One announced that it was a chant: "The Dharma was born by karma. I said that it was karma, and then it died. I said that.

Good man! If the Buddhist doctrine is called Buddha Dharma Body, you should write it and place it in the tower for worship. Why? Because all karma and all dharma bodies generated by karma are due to emptiness, I call them dharma bodies. If all sentient beings understand the justice of such karma, they should know that this person is the Buddha. "

At this time, Avalokitesvara, all the heavens, all the people, and Gandha, were very happy to hear what the Buddha had said, and believed and followed it.

不论钱多钱少,都可以制作,钱多的做大的,钱少的做小的。

刻上几个佛像、放上几句佛号、放上几句佛教名言、放上几部佛经,都可以起到弘法利生作用,功德无量无边。


诸葛长青认为,雕刻好的,可以捐给寺庙道观、修行场所,可以自己供奉。

可以安放山林中,可以捐给修行者,功德无量无边。


制作佛塔、佛像、石碑石刻,功德多大?

观音菩萨亲自请佛祖释迦牟尼佛开示。

于是,有了这部经《佛说造塔功德经》。


这部经有几句话闻名天下:

诸法因缘生,我说是因缘,

因缘尽故灭,我作如是说。


诸葛长青把释迦牟尼佛关于《佛说造塔功德经》分享有缘者。

如是我闻:一时,佛在忉利天宫白玉座上,与大比丘、大菩萨等,及彼天主无量众俱。时,大梵天王、那罗延天、大自在天及五乾闼婆王等,各与眷属俱来至佛所,欲问如来造塔之法,及塔所生功德之量。


会中有菩萨名观世音,知其意,即从座起,偏袒右肩,右膝著地,合掌向佛而作是言:“世尊,今此诸天、乾闼婆等故来至此,欲请如来造塔之法,及塔所生功德之量。唯愿世尊为彼解说,利益一切无量众生!”


尔时,世尊告观世音菩萨言:“善男子,若此现在诸天众等,及未来世一切众生,随所在方未有塔处,能于其中建立之者,其状高妙出过三界,乃至至小如庵罗果;所有表刹上至梵天,乃至至小犹如针等;所有轮盖覆彼大千,乃至至小犹如枣叶;于彼塔内藏掩如来,所有舍利、发牙、髭爪下至一分,或置如来所有法藏十二部经,下至于一四句偈。其人功德如彼梵天,命终之后生于梵世;于彼寿尽生五净居,与彼诸天等无有异!善男子,如我所说如是之事,是彼塔量功德因缘,汝诸天等应当修学。”


尔时,观世音菩萨复白佛言:“世尊,如向所说,安置舍利及以法藏,我已受持。不审如来四句之义,唯愿为我分别演说。”


尔时,世尊说是偈言:


诸法因缘生,我说是因缘,


因缘尽故灭,我作如是说。


“善男子,如是偈义名佛法身,汝当书写置彼塔内。何以故?一切因缘及所生法性空寂故,是故我说名为法身。若有众生解了如是因缘之义,当知是人即为见佛。”


尔时,观世音菩萨,及彼诸天、一切大众、乾闼婆等,闻佛所说,皆大欢喜,信受奉行。

《佛说造塔功德经》 - 白话语译


这是我所亲自听闻的:一时,佛安处在忉利天宫中的白玉座上,与大比丘、大菩萨,及忉利天天与无量大众聚会。


是时,大梵天王、那罗延天、大自在天及五位乾闼婆王等,各自与眷属一起来至佛前,想要请问如来造塔的方法,及造塔所生功德的数量。


在此聚会中,有一位菩萨名为观世音,知道他们前来见佛的心意,即从座中立起,偏袒右肩,右膝着地,合掌向佛陀说道: “世尊!现在这些天众、乾闼婆等之所以前来此处,乃是想要请问如来造塔的方法,及造塔所生的功德,惟愿世尊为他们解说,以利益一切无量众生。”


这时,世尊告诉观世音菩萨说: “善男子!如果在此法会中的现在诸天众等,及未来世的一切众生,随着他们所在的地方,在没有造塔之处,能在其中建立佛塔者,不论这些塔的形状是高妙无比,超过三界中的一切,乃至极为微小如同庵罗果;或是塔的所有表刹,高大到上至梵天,乃至至小犹如针等;或是所有轮盖大到能覆盖大千世界,乃至至小犹如枣叶;若能于这些塔内藏掩如来所有的舍利,如发、牙、髭、爪,下至一分,或放置如来所有法藏十二部经,下至于一段四句偈等,其人的功德就如同梵天一般,命终之后投生于梵世,在梵天的天界中寿尽后,又往生五净居天,与这些诸天等无有异。


善男子!如我所说的如是之事,即是建造这些塔的计量功德因缘,你们诸天等应当修学。”


这时观世音菩萨又禀告佛陀说言:“世尊!如前所说,安置舍利及如来法藏,我已信受奉持,但尚不明白如来四句偈的义理,惟愿如来为我分别演说。”


这时世尊就宣说是偈颂道:“诸法因缘所生,我说如是因缘,因缘尽故寂灭,我作如是宣说。


善男子!如是偈的义理,是名为佛法身,你们应当书写置于塔内礼拜供养。为什么呢?因为一切因缘及因缘所生的诸法体性,都是空寂的缘故,所以我说名为法身。如果有众生了解如是因缘法的义理,当知此人即为见佛。”


这时观世音菩萨,及这些诸天、一切大众、乾闼婆等,听闻了佛陀所宣说的法要,都十分欢喜,信受奉行。
