Basic knowledge of Buddhism: what is learning Buddhism and practicing the "Eight Rights"
佛学基础知识:什么是学佛修行“八正道”
Amitabha! On the way of learning Buddhism, we should follow the eightfold path and take the right path.
-----Zhuge Changqing
Nanwu Master Sakyamuni Buddha.
Namo Amitabha.
Blessed life is limitless.
Confucius, the most holy of all.
The Buddha Sakyamuni Buddha, in order to let the practitioners of Buddhism practice not go astray and adhere to the middle way of not suffering and not being happy, specially put forward the "Eight Principles" to the practitioners. Zhuge Changqing believed that by adhering to the eightfold path proposed by the Buddha, there would be no deviation in learning Buddhism and no evil way.
The "Eight Rights" was also put forward against asceticism and hedonism of some factions in the "Six Teachers". The Buddha advocated the Middle Way, which is neither bitter nor happy, because in primitive Buddhism, the Eightfold Way was also called the Middle Way. Primitive Buddhism attached great importance to this method of practice, which is neither bitter nor happy, and listed it as the specific content of "Tao", one of the four truths. The detailed explanations of the Eightfold Path include the Buddhist Sutra of the Eightfold Path translated by Anshigao, the Four Noble Products of the Add-on Ahan Sutra, and the corresponding classics of the Southern biography.
Buddhist doctrine. It is also known as the Eight Orthodoxy, the Eight Sacred Way or the Eight Sacred Way. It means eight ways and means to reach the highest ideal of Buddhism (Nirvana).
Zhuge Changqing excerpted the content of the Eight Righteous Paths in the Eight Buddhist Scriptures
First: See you. Believe in charity, ritual, ancestral temple, good and evil deeds, natural blessings, parents, Taoists in the world, seeking Tao, doing and receiving.
Second: mindfulness. The intention is to abandon desire, family, anger and aggression.
Third: Zhengyu. Don't bicommunicate, pass on words, swear, or talk falsely.
Fourth: positive behavior. Do not kill, steal and commit adultery.
The fifth is to accept. It is said that there is no illegal way for disciples to seek Dharma. It is not illegal to seek the right way to stay ill and thin in bed.
Sixth: Correct governance (positive improvement). Life and death are the same as the essence of the line. It is never tired of holding.
Seventh: Zhengyi. Life and death act in accordance with the idea.
Eighth: Zhengding. The life and death, the mind, the phase and the protection have stopped. Cannot be. Do not commit all crimes. Do not fall into the atrium.

Buddha Says the Eightfold Path Sutra
Translator
So it sounds. For a time, the Buddha was in Shewei State and only gave trees to the lonely garden. The Buddha told his disciples. Listen to me. What is evil? Don't see, don't read, don't speak, don't govern, don't seek, don't act, don't mean, don't settle. It is for the eight evil ways.
What is the Eight Rights of Way.
One is to see. See why. Believe in charity, trust in rites, trust in shrines, trust in good deeds, evil deeds, natural blessings, trust in parents, trust in the world, trust in the world, trust in the truth, trust in the truth, and trust in the truth. This generation and future generations have proved their own cleverness. They told each other that it was for the truth.
What is the second meaning. Do not be angry or angry when you want to abandon your home. It is for the truth.
What is the third truth. Don't speak without two tongues. It is the truth.
What is the fourth truth. Do not kill, steal and commit adultery. It is for practicing.
What is the fifth truth. It is said that there is no illegal way for disciples to seek Dharma. It is not illegal to seek the right way to stay ill and thin in bed. It is for receiving.
The sixth principle is how to govern. Life and death are the same as the essence of the line. It is never tired of holding. It is for the truth.
What is the seventh meaning. Life and death act in accordance with the idea. It is called meaning.
What is the eighth truth. The life and death, the mind, the phase and the protection have stopped. Cannot be. Do not commit all crimes. Do not fall into the atrium. It is called Dingding.
monk. All disciples of the Tao. There are eight ways to practice. If you say and do, you can get the eight elements of the Tao. Those who see believe that giving to future generations will be blessed. Those who believe in the ceremony will see Taoist Shamon as a blessing. Those who believe in the temple hang a candle to burn incense and scatter flowers. The ten good deeds of faith are for the benefit of nature. Those who believe in their parents believe in filial piety. Those who believe in the world's Taoists like to receive scriptures. Those who believe and seek the Tao are those who walk the Tao. Those who believe in the truth will never be malicious. Those who believe in the truth do not break the precepts. This generation and later generations are crafty. Can teach people to get certificates. He who has made himself can become an adult. Tell others if you can succeed. It is called "seeing and knowing". If you do, you can also get rid of others.
The second meaning is frustration. Those who want to abandon their homes are mindful of the Tao. He who is not angry will endure humiliation. Those who do not invade should be honest.
The third truth. Don't scold, don't make four mistakes. But the essence of sincerity is essential.
The fourth truth is that the doer does not kill, steal, and commit dishonesty.
The fifth truth is not to corrupt. It is a cheap doctor to ask for one clothes and one food.
The sixth essence of governance is the Thirty-seven Classics.
The seventh meaning increases by thirty-seven items every day.
The eighth truth is that those who stop do not forget karma. He who stops often protects himself. He who has stopped will do nothing. Those who gather are blessed. Buddha said so. All are happy to receive. (Reference material for this article: The Eightfold Path Sutra of Buddhism)
