Why do people get sick?

It is mostly related to the debt collection of personal enemy creditors.

Venerable Master Xuanhua disclosed the cause and effect of disease on different occasions, and Zhuge Changqing shared it with the predestined:

1、 Diseases are mostly caused by karmic ghosts.

The master of Xuanhua said that all evil diseases, such as malaria and cancer, are dominated by ghosts, causing the dislocation of the five internal organs and the four major maladjustments in the body, which are caused by karmic ghosts. Zhuge Changqing: The ghost mentioned by Master Xuanhua is the enemy creditor injured by the party concerned.

Because people have karma in the past, when time comes, ghosts come to collect debts. It is also because the man's yang is insufficient, and the yin flourishes and the yang wanes, so the ghost can get its convenience. If you can always be free of worries and wisdom, there will be no room for ghosts. Once there is desire and ignorance, ghosts can easily get in.

By analogy, 84000 diseases have their causes and consequences. Even a mosquito bites you, a bee stings you, and everything else that happens to you are both cause and effect. If people understand this, they will not dare to do anything wrong, and they will be punished if they do wrong. In particular, those who practice six degrees of training should be down-to-earth and never be hypocritical. The so-called "because the land is not true, the result is tortuous". When we get to the fruit field, we have a lot of trouble.

Therefore, you should "follow the fate to eliminate the old business, let alone create new disasters." You should not have a little laissez-faire behavior. Everyone should be alert at any time and place. If you don't harm others and only benefit others, nothing will happen and ghosts will not find you. Zhuge Changqing: People should always reflect on themselves, get rid of greed, hatred, ignorance, slowness and suspicion, get rid of killing, stealing, and lustful alcohol, so that they have no karma.

2、 Eating meat is the culprit of disaster

The master of Xuanhua said that Buddhism has positive Dharma, like Dharma and final Dharma, which are all felt by the karma of all living beings. In the era of Dharma, the ancient people's blessings were broad and profound, and their wisdom was also high. The water in the earth was as nutritious as milk, and so was the water everywhere. In the era of Dharma, the water you drink will not be so nutritious and delicious. Now is the end of the law. The water we drink not only has no nutrition, but also contains many kinds of poisons. Some people said, "We have disinfected the water." Even so, the poison still exists and cannot be eliminated. So in this world, poison is more and more every day, which pollutes the air, so poison is also permeated in the air. Because people in the world use too much poison, they inhale the poison into the body, undergo a chemical reaction, and then reflect it out, and the poison will fill the air. Zhuge Changqing: The Buddha said that everything in the world is inspired by karma. The killing, stealing and lustful drinking in the world have worsened the human environment.

Now the void is full of all kinds of poisonous gases. We have known that atomic bombs and hydrogen bombs are the most dangerous weapons, but the poison released by each population is more powerful than any other poison, so the world is getting worse day by day. Because of the influence of the poison gas, every day he is drunk and sleepless, eating, drinking, whoring, gambling, Gu, Heng, collapsing, abducting, cheating, stealing, all of them are refined. This situation is too dangerous!

So what should we do if we want to disinfect the world? We should eat fast together and not eat meat. If you can fast, the poison will decrease day by day. If we want to really disinfect the world, we should be vegetarian and not eat meat. Because the flesh of all living creatures is poisonous, the poison is very fine, and you won't notice it when you eat it, but you slowly get the poison. Moreover, the poison is particularly strong, and there is no medicine to cure it, because the grievance is too deep.

So the ancients said:

For thousands of years, the grievance is as deep as the sea hate;

If you want to know the world's sabre robbery, listen to the midnight sound of the slaughterhouse.

For thousands of years, the soup we eat seems to be just a bowl of soup, but the hatred is as deep as the sea. You should know that the war between people, family and family, country and country, planet and planet, and war against each other are all caused by eating meat. All the epidemic disasters of the sabre, fire and water plague are caused by eating meat. If you want to understand the truth, just go to the slaughterhouse at midnight to listen. There are pigs crying, cows crying, sheep crying. In short, whatever you kill, you cry. They are crying or poisoning! Put on a stream of poison gas, and cried and said, "OK! You kill me now, and I will kill you in the future. We will never end. If you kill me, I will kill you. If you eat me, I will eat you!" So all kinds of grievances were formed and filled in the void.

Because the void is filled with a poisonous gas of injustice, it causes all kinds of disasters. If everyone eats fast, these injustices will subside, and then the fight will be turned into friendship, and the violence will be turned into peace, and the common people will be able to save the end of the disaster!

3、 There are various causes and effects behind the disease

Author Feng Feng Jushi recorded that the master of Xuanhua said: Everywhere I go, there are many sick people who come to seek medical treatment. All people who are ill are suffering from severe karma. If there is no karma, there will be no strange disease. All people who come to see me are suffering from strange diseases. Chinese and western medicine are helpless and incurable.

In the past, most people who suffer from strange diseases were greedy and unwilling to suffer losses; Or they become stingy, refuse to give, help the poor, think for themselves everywhere, don't think for everyone, always selfish and selfish, so they become more and more serious karma day by day, and finally have a strange disease.

Also, people suffering from strange diseases have slandered the Three Treasures and even the Mahayana Sutra in the past, so they fell into hell and suffered. Come out of hell and turn into animals, birds or beasts. After finishing the animal, you can turn into a man. But when you become a man, there are more than six defects, including blind, deaf, dumb, or lame. In short, you are physically unsound. Such people have done evil deeds in the past, so they will suffer this kind of retribution in this life.

Those who suffer from this kind of retribution should have great repentance and do more deeds of merit and virtue, which is right.

amitabha. Zhuge Changqing suggested that patients with diseases should repent of their sins, and do more good deeds such as releasing life, giving food, and eating vegetarian food, and quickly compensate the debt of the debtor.

Unfortunately, they are not only unconscious, but also love money like life. I beg you to cure me, but also want to be greedy for cheap. I hope you can cure me without spending money. After getting well, he generously gave a red envelope as a support. There is only one yuan (Singapore or Malaysia money), or two yuan, or at most five yuan in the red envelope. They want to find a bargain on the monk. How pathetic it is that they want to take advantage of their heavy karma!

Why do I tell you this? Because you should be vigilant and careful. Do not create evil karma. In Buddhism, do not slander the Three Treasures, the Mahayana Sutra, doubt or practice, or deceive others. If you create this kind of evil karma, you will fall into hell in the future. At that time, being a master is helpless and cannot be rescued. Make a statement in advance to avoid blaming Master for not saving you from hell.

The master of Xuanhua said that there are ten reasons for making people sick. What are these ten?

First, be happy to fight all living beings. No matter what sentient beings see, they are happy to fight. This is the first result that makes you sick.

Second, persuade others to fight. It also calls others to beat all living beings, including dogs, cats and mice. Persuade others to hit children or all living beings, which will also result in disease.

Third, praise the playing method. What does she admire? She praised the method of beating all sentient beings. Because she praised the method of beating, she also got the result of being sickly.

Fourth, what do you say? She was very happy when she saw people beating people! How beautiful! I feel happier than watching movies.

Fifthly, when she saw the people who complained about the disease, she was also happy: there was such a kind of sick people, "Hey! That's good, he is sick!" So she was happy to see someone sick. Not only have no sympathy, but also very happy.

Sixth, she saw that someone else was ill, and if she recovered, she would not be happy. Because of this, she will also suffer from illness in the next life.

Seventh, what medicine did she give to the sick sentient beings? Give him no medicine for this disease. For example, when someone has a headache, the medicine she gave is for stomachache, and she also won a good name by saying, "Look! I'll give him some medicine." But it's not for this disease.

Eighth, when she saw that someone was ill and the doctor was treating him there, she became jealous and said, "It's better for the doctor to die soon, so as not to cure him again and cure him.".

Ninth, when she saw a sick person, she was happy. She hoped that the sick person would always be bad. This disease often whets the person.

Tenth, enjoy eating. She eats again before the food has been digested. This mouth always likes to eat and does not stop. Because of these ten kinds of evil karma, we suffer from this sickly result.

阿弥陀佛。疾病多是业障罪业导致的冤亲债主讨债所致。

   阿弥陀佛。

   福生无量天尊。

   人为何会得病？

   多是和个人的 冤亲债主讨债 有关系。

   宣化上人在不同场合开示了关于疾病的因果，诸葛长青分享给有缘者：

　　一、疾病，多是业障鬼导致的。

   宣化上人开示说，凡是恶疾，如疟疾、癌症等，皆由鬼在后面支配著，令人体内五脏错位，四大不调，都是业障鬼导致的。诸葛长青：宣化上人说的这个鬼，即是被当事人伤害的冤亲债主。

   因为人夙世有业障，时间到鬼就来讨债。也因为这个人的阳气不足，阴盛阳衰，故鬼能得其便。你若能常常无烦恼，智慧现前，鬼便无隙可乘。一旦生了欲念、无明，鬼便容易钻进来。

   以此类推，八万四千个疾病，皆有前因后果。甚至蚊子咬你一口，蜜蜂螫你一下，及其他所遭遇的一切，都是因果互为经纬。人若明白这道理，则一点错事也不敢做，一做错就要受报应。尤其是修六度万行者，更要脚踏实地，丝毫不能行虚伪。所谓“因地不真，果招纡曲”。到果地的时候，则有很多麻烦。

　　因此，诸位要“随缘消旧业，更莫造新殃。”不能有少许放逸的行为。大家要随时随地提高警觉。不去害人，只去利益人，便什么毛病也不会发生，鬼也找不著你。诸葛长青：人要时刻反省自己，去掉贪嗔痴慢疑，去掉杀盗妄淫酒，让自己没有造业障的因缘。

　　二、吃肉是灾劫的罪魁

   宣化上人开示说，佛教有正法、像法、末法，这皆是众生的业报所感现的。正法时代，古人的福报广大、深厚，智慧也高，地里的水犹如牛奶那么有营养，每一处的水皆是如此。等到像法时代，所喝的水就没有那么营养美味了。现在是末法时代，所喝的水，不仅没有营养，还都含藏着很多种的毒质。　 有人说：「我们把水消毒过了。」虽然如此，但毒质还是存在，无法消去。所以在这世界上，毒是一天比一天多，把空气也污染，所以在空气中也弥漫毒质。因为世间人用毒太多，把毒素吸进身内，再经过一番化学作用，而后反射出来，毒质就布满空气中。诸葛长青：佛说人间一切都是业力感召来的，人间的杀盗妄淫酒，导致人类环境变得恶化了。

　　现在的虚空里，充满了种种毒气。我们已知道原子弹、氢气弹等，是最危险厉害的武器，但由每个人口里所放出的毒，更是比什么毒都厉害，所以这世界一天比一天坏。因为受了毒气的熏染，每天醉生梦死，吃、喝、嫖、赌、蛊、横、崩、拐、骗、偷，无一不精。这种情形实在是太危险了！　
　　所以若想把世界消毒，该怎么办？就要大家一起吃斋，不吃肉。能吃斋，毒就会日日减少。若要把这世界真正消毒，就要大家吃素不吃肉。因为众生肉都有毒，这种毒质是很微细微细，当你吃时不会觉察，但慢慢地就中了这种毒质。而且这种毒质特别厉害，没有什么药品可以解，因为其中的冤业太深。　
　　所以古人说：
　　千百年来碗里羹，冤深似海恨难平；

   欲知世上刀兵劫，试听屠门夜半声。

　　从千百年以来，我们所吃的一碗羹肉汤，看上去只是一碗汤，可是其中的冤仇犹如海一般深。要知道世上人与人战，家与家战，国与国战，星球与星球战，互相争战，都是由吃肉所造成的。所有一切刀兵水火瘟疫流行灾难，皆是由吃肉所造成的。你若想了解其中的道理，只要在半夜去屠场听一听，杀猪有猪哭、杀牛有牛哭、杀羊有羊哭，总之，杀什么就什么在哭。牠们在哭就是在放毒呢！放一股毒气，一边哭一边说：「好！你现在杀了我，我将来也要杀你，我们两人绝没完没了。你杀我，我就要杀你。你吃我，我就要吃你！」所以形成种种冤毒，充塞在虚空中。　
　　因为虚空弥漫着一片冤毒气，才造成种种灾难祸患，若人人都吃斋，这些冤孽就会平息，则化干戈为玉帛，化暴戾为祥和，庶几能挽回末劫之将临！　

   三、得疾病背后有种种因果

  作家馮馮居士记录宣化上人开示：我所到的地方，每天有很多患病的人，来求医治。凡是患病的人，皆因业障深重。若是没有业障，则不会生怪病。凡是来见我的人，都是生奇怪的病，中西医皆束手无策，无法医治的绝症。

    生怪病的人，在过去生中，多数贪便宜，不肯吃亏；或者吝啬成性，一毛不拔，不肯布施，救济穷人，处处为自己著想，不为大家著想，时时自私自利，见利忘义，所以搞得业障一天比一天重，终于生了怪病。

    还有，患怪病的人，在往昔曾毁谤三宝，甚至谤大乘经，所以堕落在地狱受苦。从地狱出来，再转为畜生，或为飞禽、或为走兽。做完畜生，再转做人，可是做人时，多数六根不全，有种种的缺陷，或是瞎子、或是聋子、或是哑吧、或是瘸子，总而言之，生理不健全。这类的人，在往昔造了恶业，所以今生受这种果报。

   受这种果报的人，本应该生大忏悔心，多作功德事，才是对的。

   阿弥陀佛。诸葛长青建议有疾病患者，当忏悔自己罪业，同时多做放生、施食、吃素等善事，迅速弥补偿还债主债务等。

   可惜他们不但不觉悟，而且爱财如命。求我治病，还想贪便宜，希望不要花钱，就能治好病。病好之后，很慷慨的封一个红包，作为供养。红包内只有一块钱（新加坡或马来西亚钱），或者两块钱，至多五块钱，他们想在出家人身上找便宜。他们业障这样的重，还想贪便宜，这是多么的可怜！

   我为什么对各位说这件事呢？因为令各位提高警觉，谨慎小心，不可造恶业，在佛教里不可诽谤三宝，不可谤大乘经，不可狐疑不修行，不可妄语欺骗人。如果造这种种的恶业，将来一定会堕落地狱。到时候，做师父是爱莫能助，无法援救。事先声明，免得届时埋怨师父不救你出地狱。

   宣化上人开示：十种原因令身体多病。这十种是什么呢？

   第一，欢喜打一切众生。无论见到什么众生都欢喜打，这是第一个使你受多病的果报。

   第二，劝他人打。也叫他人打众生，其至于打狗、打猫、打老鼠都算。劝他人打小孩子，或者打一切众生，这也都会得到疾病的果报。

   第三，赞叹打法。她赞叹什么呢？赞叹打一切众生的方法，她因为赞叹打的方法，所以自己也就得到多病的果报。

   第四，你说怎么样？见打欢喜，她看见人家打众生，就高兴的不得了，最高兴了！真好看！比看电影都觉得高兴。

   第五，她看见怨病苦的众生，心里也高兴：有这一种生病的众生，「嘿！这样子好，他可病了！」就这样，看见人有病，她就高兴。不但没有同情心，而且还很高兴。
   第六，她看见人家有病，要是这个病好了，她心里也不高兴了。因为这样子，所以来生她自己也受多病的果报。

   第七，她给有病的众生药物，给他什么药呢？给他不是治这种病的药。譬如：人家头痛，她给的药是治肚子痛的药，而且还博取好名说：「你看！我给他药吃。」但并不是治这种病的药。

   第八，她见着人家有病，医生在那儿给他治病，就生一种妒嫉心，说：最好那个医生快点死，免得再给他治病，把他病治好了。

   第九，她看见有病的人，就欢喜，希望这个有病的人时时都不好，常常有这种疾病来磨这个人。

   第十，欢喜吃东西。吃的东西还没有消化，她又吃，这个嘴总欢喜吃东西，不停止。因为有这十种的恶业，所以就受这个多病的果报。
