Tips for learning Buddhism: Five things should be known before learning Buddhism
amitabha. On the way of life, you can learn Buddhist wisdom, which can make people happy.
----Zhuge Changqing
amitabha.
Blessed life is limitless.
How does life become happy?
What do you need to know when learning Buddhism for the first time?
How to solve the puzzle of life? How to eliminate the evil karma of life? How can the bitterness of life be resolved?
Elder Jinghui suggested that we can find the answer from Buddhist wisdom.
Zhuge Changqing believed that the teachings of Elder Jinghui could have many implications for life.
To be happy in life, we must eliminate our own shortcomings.
The purpose of our Buddhist practice is to eliminate all kinds of shortcomings in life.
What should I do to learn Buddhism? Zhuge Changqing thought that five things should be known first.
These five things are: first, to remove confusion, second, to stop making karma, third, to understand the pain of life, fourth, to stop evil and do good can change fate, fifth, to know the basic knowledge of karma.
Zhuge Changqing believes that novice Buddhists can enter the highway of learning Buddhism by knowing these five things.
The first thing to learn Buddhism is to get rid of confusion
Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Why are people confused? The main reason is that everyone has the shortcomings of "greed, hatred, ignorance, slowness and doubt". If we remove the shortcomings of "greed, hatred, ignorance, slowness and doubt", we will have a clear mind, a clean heart and a leap in wisdom.
Elder Jinghui pointed out that there are three fundamental shortcomings in life, that is, "confusion, industry and hardship".
What is confusion? As the name implies, confusion is confusion, delusion, ignorance and worry. It is the driving force for us to transfer life and death and create all evil karma.
Confusion mainly includes greed, hatred, and delusion, which are the three most fundamental worries, which we generally call "three poisons". Greed is greed and love for prosperity; Anger is hatred and rejection of adversity; Idiots are idiots. They don't know the reason and cause. We often say, "All evil karma created in the past is caused by insatiable greed, hatred and ignorance." It can be seen that the reason why we create all kinds of evil karma is due to the three kinds of troubles: greed, hatred and ignorance.
Zhuge Changqing: How to remove confusion? We should start by removing our "greed, hatred, ignorance, slowness and doubt". Specifically, we can think about what shortcomings we have in terms of greed, hatred and ignorance? What needs to be corrected? Once you have identified the problem, you can start to correct it.
Buddha should know the second thing: stop making karma
Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. The six cycles of life are all driven by karma. If you stop making karma, you can "break away from the six cycles and return directly to the Buddha world".
Karma is the act of creation. Here, the karma arising from confusion refers to evil karma. The opposite of the ten good karma is the ten evil karma; If we are confused about the situation, we will have trouble; Driven by worries, you can take action and become karma; The continuous accumulation of karma will form a powerful inertial effect, which is called karma. All sentient beings are driven by karma to reincarnate the six paths. I don't think it is very sad.
On the way of learning Buddhism, we should start with removing "killing, stealing, delusion, lewdness and alcohol", clean ourselves, stop evil and do good, and then we will leap forward.
The third thing to learn Buddhism is to know the bitterness of life
Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. Buddha said that there are "eight sufferings" in life, that is, "birth, old age, disease, death, love, separation, begging, hatred and hatred, and the five yin are flourishing". The Buddha Sakyamuni reminded people to understand the suffering of life, then learn the wisdom of Buddhism, find the way to release, and get happiness from suffering
The result of creating karma is to be felt. The result of creating karma is suffering. Bitterness is a kind of truth and reality of life. It is called "the essence of bitterness" in Buddhism. That is to say, our life is fundamentally full of defects, unhappiness and discomfort, which is a reality. Bitterness is also our feeling. We have good or bad feelings about things that are satisfactory or unsatisfactory, including our body and the environment we live in. These are all bitter.
Why is it that good or happy feelings are also bitter? Because there is no lasting feast in the world, and the happiness in the world is always not lasting, it is always short. The more you think good things, the more painful they will be when lost. So suffering is suffering, and happiness is suffering.
The confusion, karma and suffering mentioned above are cyclical: the karma is created by confusion, and the suffering is felt by karma; In the face of bitter retribution, if you do not realize it, you will be troubled and continue to create karma, so that you will never stop reincarnation.
How can we change this reality? The key lies in the face of hardship. Shall we fix it or not? Do you want to continue to follow the current or jump out of the vicious circle? For example, if we use proper and honest labor to improve our lives and change the status quo, it is allowed by Buddhism; If you use illegal means to gain money, you are creating evil karma. Follow the evil karma and continue to pursue it. Then you will only have to degenerate and reincarnate. So we should face the bitter reality of life with a positive attitude, break the confusion according to the law of cause and effect, adjust the direction of our behavior, plant the cause of good and the cause of relief, then the final result we feel will be good rather than bad.
Buddha should know the fourth thing: stopping evil and doing good can change fate
Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. No matter whether you practice for the sake of blessing or Buddha, you should start with "stop evil and do good". Specifically, you can release more life, give more food, recite Buddha's name and sutras, eat more vegetarian food, help more people, and do more good deeds. Zhuge Changqing recommended doing a good job of "five in one" in the transformation of traditional Chinese culture.
If you do more good deeds and accumulate more virtue, you will be rewarded. If you have the reward, you will achieve your goal.
Good retribution, from a low level, is human and natural retribution; At a high level, it is sound, fate, Bodhisattva and even Buddha. To achieve good results, we must actively correct evil and practice good on the premise of maintaining life. "Don't do any evil, pursue all good, and purify ourselves".
If we can hold the five precepts and practice ten good deeds, we can get the results of human and nature; If we can further cultivate the four truths, twelve factors, six degrees and four aspects, we can prove the sound, sense of predestination and the holy fruit of Bodhisattva. The key is how we choose now.
Zhuge Changqing believed that learning Buddhism should achieve the five precepts and ten virtues, which can accelerate the leap.
What are the five precepts: no killing, no stealing, no lewdness, no lying, no drinking.
Buddhism believes that such immoral behavior should be strictly prohibited, so it is called the Five Commandments.
Ten Kinds: It is built on the basis of the five precepts, and the three actions of body, mouth and mind are divided into ten types. On the contrary, it is called the ten evils.
There are three kinds of physical actions: not killing, not stealing, and not being lewd;
There are four types of oral business: not to deceive, not to be two-tongued, not to hurt others with malicious words, and not to use fancy words (to please others);
There are three types of mental karma: not greedy, not angry, and not stupid.
1. Specific contents of the "Five Commandments"---
[1. Do not kill], which means that if a person kills others, he will take his life and fall into the evil way; Or among strangers, life is also short. If you don't do the right thing, you won't kill.
[II. Don't steal], which means that if a person steals something if he doesn't have it with him, he will fall into the evil way; Or among strangers, they also suffer from poverty. If you don't do the right thing, you won't steal.
[3. Don't commit lewdness], which means that if a person is lewd, he will offend others' wives and concubines, and will fall into evil ways; Or among strangers, wives and concubines are also unfaithful. If you don't do the right thing, your name is not evil.
[4. Don't talk falsely], which means that if a person makes false statements, conceals the truth, uses deception to mislead people, and falls into evil ways; Or among strangers, they also have bad breath and are hated by others. If you don't do the right thing, don't give up.
[V. Don't drink], which means that if people drink alcohol, they will indulge in insanity, insanity and ignorance, and have no wisdom. If you don't drink, it's a no drink ring
2. Specific content of "Ten Kinds"---
Ten good deeds: ten kinds of good deeds, that is, no killing, no stealing, no lewdness, no delusion, no two tongues, no evil mouth, no rhetoric, no greed, no anger, no ignorance.
Good is the meaning of truth. It is said that these ten methods are all reasonable. However, there are two kinds: one is to stop and the other is to go. Stop, stop your evil and don't annoy him; If you practice, you will win virtue and benefit everything.
[1. Do not kill animals]. If you do not kill animals, it means that you do not harm all things, that is, it is good to stop killing. If you don't kill yourself, you should do the good of letting go.
[II. Don't steal]. If you don't steal, you don't steal other people's property, which is the good way to stop theft. Do not steal, but do the good of giving.
[3. Do not commit lewdness]. Those who do not commit lewdness are good at stopping lewdness. Neither evil nor lewdness, but the good of pure Brahman.
[4. Don't talk falsely]. If you don't talk falsely, it means you can't speak falsely and deceive others. That is the good way to stop talking falsely. Don't talk falsely, but do the good of real words.
[5. Don't use two tongues]. If you don't use two tongues, it means you don't use both sides to talk right and wrong. If you make him compete with each other, it means you can stop using two tongues. Neither tongue nor tongue, we should do good in harmony with interests.
[6. Don't speak ill]. If you don't speak ill, it means that you don't use harsh words and insult others, which is the good way to stop the evil. If you don't speak ill, you should be gentle.
[VII. No fancy words]. Those who don't fancy words are not dignified and gorgeous words. It is pleasant to hear. That is, they are good at stopping fancy words. Neither rhetoric, we should be honest and honest.
[VIII. No greed]. Those who are not greedy are those who are not greedy for the world of lust, that is, the good of stopping greed. Neither lust nor lust, we should do the good of pure Brahman.
[9. Don't be angry]. Those who don't be angry are those who don't get angry. Hatred against people is the good thing to stop anger. If you are not angry, you should be kind and tolerant.
[10. No evil opinions]. Those who have no evil opinions are not biased against evil opinions, and those who hold wrong opinions are good for stopping evil opinions. Neither evil view, but good faith.
The fifth thing to learn Buddhism is to know the basic knowledge of karma
In practice, many beginners do not know how to learn Buddhism. Zhuge Changqing recommended that you read such basic books as "The Four Commandments of the Goddess of the Goddess of the Kitchen", "The Sage of the Sea", "The Cause and Effect of the Three Lives", "The Treasure of the Jade Calendar", "Yu Jingyi's Meeting with the Kitchen God", and "The Treasure of Life and Health" for the first time of learning Buddhism. Through reading, you will know the knowledge of karma and changing fate. At the same time, search and read the basic methods such as chanting Buddha, releasing life, giving food, eating vegetarian food, and then slowly transition to learning the Buddhist sutras such as "Dizang Sutra", "Vajra Sutra", "Buddha Says Amitabha Sutra", "Heart Sutra", "Dharma Hua Sutra", "Shurangama Sutra" (you can watch the Buddhist sutra books and videos explained by eminent monks such as Master Yuanying, Master Xuanhua, and Master Jingkong). Then slowly enter the realm of learning Buddhism. If beginners want to enter the track of learning Buddhism in the quickest way, Zhuge Changqing recommends starting with "five in one" (repentance, almsgiving, release, chanting, vegetarian). "Five in one" is a convenient way for Zhuge Changqing to learn the great virtue, good knowledge and wisdom of ancient and modern eminent monks and quickly learn and become Buddha. It can help beginners quickly enter the expressway. The content of Zhuge Changqing's "Five in One" of the reform of traditional Chinese culture can be searched and read by Zhuge Changqing's teacher "Confession Culture Zhuge Changqing", "Feeding Culture Zhuge Changqing", "Release Culture Zhuge Changqing", "Recite Culture Zhuge Changqing", and "Vegetarian Culture Zhuge Changqing".

Zhuge Changqing wishes all the people who are destined to do good and accumulate virtue in the world: wealth and auspiciousness, success in everything you want, and good luck in everything!
身业有三种:不杀、不盗、不邪淫;
口业有四种:不妄语欺骗、不是非两舌、不恶口伤人、不说绮语(花言巧语讨好别人);
