Tao Te Ching: The best kindness is like water, which is the great wisdom of life

Blessed life is limitless. The best kindness is like water, and the greatest wisdom of life.

----Zhuge Changqing

amitabha.

Blessed life is limitless.

Life is a journey. To make life more beautiful and meaningful, we should learn water.

Laozi said in the Tao Te Ching, "The best is like water.".

What is the basic meaning of being as good as water?

Zhuge Changqing believes that "the best is like water" contains three basic meanings:

The first meaning: like water, with dedication and kindness. Water is everywhere, water nourishes everything, water is the source of life, selfless dedication. Such a state and action will naturally be blessed by heaven and earth and help by people. The so-called "good deeds and good deeds must be rewarded with good deeds, and there are many ways to help and few ways to help".

The second meaning: like water, take it easy. You see water everywhere. There is no obstacle, no trouble, only happy voice. Why? Water will not worry about self-interest, will not fight for self-interest, and will not worry about self-interest. Water will always be content with the situation. The best kind is like water. It's worth thinking.

The third meaning: be as modest as water, and be as modest as a valley. Look at the water, where it is low, it flows everywhere. It is always modest, but people always chase him and cannot leave him. A person who can do this step is a high-level person.

The best is like water. Let's always reflect on whether we have achieved the same goal? Zhuge Changqing suggested that we should learn the characteristics of water and practice it all the time.

Throughout the world, most people who have made great achievements have the characteristics of water. The best good is like water. I hope that everyone who has a chance will deeply understand the connotation of the best good as water, and then realize a happy life.

The best is like water, and success is endless.

"The best good is like water" is derived from Laozi's "Tao Te Ching": "The best good is like water, and water is good for all things and does not compete." It means that the highest level of good deeds are like the character of water, which benefits all things and does not compete for fame and wealth. Water is good for all things, but not for fighting; It is the evil of others, so it is more than the Tao. Live in a good place, have a good heart, be kind and benevolent, speak good faith, govern well, do well, and act well. The only thing we can do is not fight.

People's character should be like water, doing things like flowing clouds and still like water. The highest state of human beings should be like water, flexible and selfless.

The four words "the best good is like water" are derived from the first sentence of Chapter 8 of Laozi's Tao Te Ching, "The best good is like water. Water is good for all things and does not fight. It is the evil of all people, so it is less than the Tao. Dwelling, good place; heart, good abyss; and, good benevolence; words, good faith; governance, good governance; things, good ability; movement, good time. People only do not fight, so nothing special."

Its literal meaning is that the conduct of the best person, like water, can nourish and benefit all things, but not compete with all things. When it comes to the ideological significance covered by it, we need to explain more.

Laotse also said, "The highest good is like water, and the water is good at benefiting all things without fighting, which is the virtue of humility; therefore, the river and sea can be the king of the hundred valleys, and the river and sea can be the king of the hundred valleys if they are good at the bottom. The world is not weaker than the water, and the strong can not win, which is the virtue of softness; therefore, the soft is stronger than the hard, and the weak is stronger than the strong. Because they have nothing, they can enter into the void. Therefore, we can know the benefit of teaching without words and inaction."

He believed that the best man should be like water. Water benefits all things, nourishes all things, but does not compete with all things. This is the most modest virtue. The reason why Jianghai can become the destination of all rivers is that he is good at being in the downstream position, so he becomes the king of hundreds of valleys.

There is nothing softer than water in the world. However, it can penetrate the hardest thing, and nothing can surpass it. For example, drops of water pierce the stone, which is where "Jude" lies. So the weak can overcome the strong, and the soft can overcome the hard.

The things that do not see their shape can enter into the things without gaps, so we know the teaching of "not speaking" and the benefits of "inaction".

Lao Tzu also said, "Because it does not compete, no one in the world can compete with it. This is to imitate the water virtue. The water is less than the Tao. The Tao is everywhere, and the water is unfavourable. The water can avoid the high and the low. It has never been rebellious, and it is good for the earth. The space is quiet and unfathomable. Good is deep; damage is inexhaustible, and good is benevolent.

"Tao" is the general source of all things in the world, the thing that exists before concrete things, and the basic law and origin of things. So "Tao" is something we should all recognize and understand. The virtue of water is the closest to "Tao". "Tao" is everywhere. Therefore, water has no disadvantages. It avoids high and tends down, so it will not be hindered.

It can flow to any place, nourish everything and wash the mud. It is in a deep pool. The surface is clear and calm, but it is unfathomable. It flows continuously to benefit all things without seeking return. Such virtue, even benevolence and goodness.

Lao Tzu said: The best is like water, and water conservancy works for all things without competition.

Confucius said: Water has five virtues. Because it keeps flowing, it can spread all living things, as if it is virtuous; The flow will be downward, and it will not be inverted, either square or long, and it will follow the principle, as if it is justified; It is vast and endless, as if there is a way; It seems to be brave to flow through the mountains without fear; The placement is not uneven, as if abiding by the law; It is not necessary to cut and scrape how much you see, as if it were upright; It's like knowing everything; The origin must be from the west, as if determined; Take it out and take it in, and everything will be washed and clean, as if it were good at change. Water has these virtues, so a gentleman must look at water.
