Quiet Sutra: People can always be quiet, and heaven and earth will return

清静经：人能常清静，天地悉皆归

Blessed life is limitless. People should keep clean. With a clean heart, everything will be clear

Blessed life is limitless.

If you are impatient and difficult to calm down, Zhuge Changqing recommends reading the Quiet Classic often.

"Qingjing Classic", the full name of which is "The Supreme Lord Lao Jun said that the Sutra of Changqingjing".

It was passed down from Tai Shanglaojun. Taoism said that when Laojun traveled to the Turtle Terrace in the West, he said "Chang Jing Jing Jing" for the Queen Mother of the West. Later, it was passed on to the world by the immortal, which was obtained by Ge Xuan. That is, Ge Xuan said, "I received it from the East China Emperor, the East China Emperor, the Jin Que Emperor, and the West Queen Mother. The West Queen Mother passed it on from mouth to mouth, without writing, but I recorded it in the world book."

The Qingjing Sutra has only four hundred and one words. Although it is short in length, it is rich in content. It is one of the important materials of Taoism cultivation.

It first explains that the invisible, merciless and nameless road has the function of breeding heaven and earth, running the sun and moon, and growing all things; The Tao has clear, turbid, dynamic and static. "Clear is the source of turbid, and dynamic is the base of static." Therefore, "people can always be quiet, and heaven and earth can return."

Then it is explained that to be always quiet, human beings and gods must clear their minds, remove all cravings, delusions and worries, and achieve the constant quiet state of "looking at their hearts, without their hearts; looking at their shapes, without their shapes; looking at their things from a distance, without their things, the three are both realized and only visible in the sky".

Finally, it is pointed out that "so quiet, gradually enter the true way, and then enter the true way, which is called Dedao".

Therefore, the "Quiet Sutra" is the key to the cultivation of calmness, and is one of the important lessons for the daily satirical practice of Taoism. Taoists believe that: "It is not absurd to set up a religion in constant silence, guide the customs and supplement the right ones, support the religious affairs, and return to the root of the people, so that they can embrace the truth and unity, integrate the spirit and the way, and turn the immortals into flying immortals... even the thousand true saints are not out of this." The Qingjing Sutra contains many notes, such as Du Guangting, Wang Daoyuan, Hou Shanyuan, Wang Yuanhui, Bai Yuchan, Anonymous, Li Daochun, and Muranzi, all of which are included in the Orthodox Taoist Collection.

Laojun said: The road is invisible, and the world is fertile; The road is ruthless, running the sun and the moon; The road is nameless, and it nourishes all things; I don't know its name, but its strong name is Tao.

The Taoist priest: there are clear and turbid, there are moving and static; The sky is clear and the earth is turbid. Men are clear and women are turbid, men are active and women are quiet. All things come into being. Clear is the source of turbidity, and moving is the base of stillness. People can always be quiet, and heaven and earth will return.

The lady is very clear, but her heart disturbs her; People are calm and want to lead.

It can often release its desire, but its heart is quiet, and its mind is clear and its spirit is clear. The six desires of nature are not born, and the three poisons are eliminated.

Therefore, those who can't do it are not clear about their heart, and are not ready to be sent.

Those who can send them, look inside their hearts, but they have no hearts; The appearance is the same as the shape; Look at things from a distance. The three have realized and only see in the sky; The view of emptiness is also empty, and nothing is empty; Nothing is empty, nothing is empty; Nothing and nothing, Zhan Ran is always silent; If there is no silence, how can desire be born?

Desire is neither born nor quiet. Always respond to things, always get nature; Always be quiet.

So quiet, gradually into the truth; Having entered the true Tao, the name is Dedao. Although the name is Dedao, there is no gain; In order to transform all sentient beings, the name is Dedao; Those who can understand can preach the Holy Way.

Laojun said, "The sergeant is not competitive, but the corporal is competitive."; The upper virtue is not virtuous, and the lower virtue is virtuous.

Persistent people have no morality.

All sentient beings should not have the true way because they have delusions. If you have delusions, you will frighten their gods; When they startle their gods, they are all things; As long as all things exist, there is greed; If you are greedy, you are worried; Worry, delusion, and sorrow; He was humiliated, wandered to life and death, often sank into the bitter sea, and never lost the truth. The truth of the Tao is that those who understand it are satisfied with it, and those who understand it are always quiet.

The immortal Ge Weng said, "I have read this sutra ten thousand times. This sutra is learned by heaven and man. It is not passed on to corporal. I used to receive it from the Donghua Emperor, the Donghua Emperor received it from the Jinque Emperor, and the Jinque Emperor received it from the West Queen Mother. The Queen Mother of the West passed it on from mouth to mouth, without memorizing words. I am now in the world, and I write it. The sergeant realized it and became an immortal; Sergeant Xiuzhi, Nangong Lieguan; Corporal got it and lived for a long time. Parade three circles and ascend to the Golden Gate.

Immortal Zuo Xuan said, "Those who learn the Tao and recite this sutra will have ten good gods and support their body.". Then the jade charm protects the spirit, and the gold liquid refines the shape. Both form and spirit are wonderful, and they are true to the Tao.

Immortal Zhengyi said: People who have this sutra and understand it will not do the disaster and obstacles, and all saints will protect the door. God ascended to the upper bound and worshipped the high truth. If you are successful and virtuous, you will feel the emperor. Recite and keep on going, and your body is full of purple clouds.

    福生无量天尊。

    如果心浮气躁，难以平静，诸葛长青推荐常常阅读《清静经》。

   《清静经》，全称《太上老君说常清静经》。

    传自于太上老君。道教称老君西游龟台之时，为西王母说常清静经。后经仙人转传，为葛玄所得，笔录而传之于世。即葛玄曰：“吾昔受之于东华帝君，东华帝君受之于金阙帝君，金阙帝君受之于西王母。西王母皆口口相传，不记文字，吾今于世书而录之。”

   《清静经》仅四百零一字。篇幅虽短，内容却很丰富，是道教炼养术重要资料之一。

   它首先阐释无形、无情、无名的大道，具有生育天地，运行日月，长养万物的功能；而道有清、浊、动、静，“清者浊之源，动者静之基”因此，“人能常清静，天地悉皆归。”

   接着说明，人神要常清静，必须遣欲澄心，去掉一切贪求、妄想与烦恼，实现“内观其心，心无其心；外观其形，形无其形；远观其物，物无其物，三者既悟，唯见于空”的常寂真静境界。

   最后指出，“如此清静，渐入真道，既 入真道，名为得道”。

   所以《清静经》，是教人遣欲入静的修炼要领，是道门日常讽诵 修持的重要功课之一。道教徒认为：“常清静设教，导俗辅正，扶宗务化，民以归根，使含真而抱一，体洽玄元，炼神合道，羽化飞仙，不为乖谬……乃至千真万圣咸不出于此矣。”《清静经》有杜光庭、王道渊、侯善渊、王元晖、白玉蟾、无名氏、李道纯以及默然子等多种注本，均收入《正统道藏》。

   分享《清静经》原文：
   老君曰：大道无形，生育天地；大道无情，运行日月；大道无名，长养万物；吾不知其名，强名曰道。

   夫道者：有清有浊，有动有静；天清地浊，天动地静。男清女浊，男动女静。降本流末，而生万物。清者浊之源，动者静之基。人能常清静，天地悉皆归。
   夫人神好清，而心扰之；人心好静，而欲牵之。

     常能遣其欲，而心自静，澄其心而神自清。自然六欲不生，三毒消灭。

   所以不能者，为心未澄，欲未遣也。

   能遣之者，内观其心，心无其心；外观其形，形无其形；远观其物，物无其物。三者既悟，唯见於空；观空亦空，空无所空；所空既无，无无亦无；无无既无，湛然常寂；寂无所寂，欲岂能生？

   欲既不生，即是真静。真常应物，真常得性；常应常静，常清静矣。

   如此清静，渐入真道；既入真道，名为得道，虽名得道，实无所得；为化众生，名为得道；能悟之者，可传圣道。
   老君曰：上士无争，下士好争；上德不德，下德执德。

   执著之者，不明道德。

   众生所以不得真道者，为有妄心。既有妄心，即惊其神；既惊其神，即著万物；既著万物，即生贪求；既生贪求，即是烦恼；烦恼妄想，忧苦身心；便遭浊辱，流浪生死，常沉苦海，永失真道。真常之道，悟者自得，得悟道者，常清静矣。
   仙人葛翁曰：吾得真道，曾诵此经万遍。此经是天人所习，不传下士。吾昔受之于东华帝君，东华帝君受之于金阙帝君，金阙帝君受之于西王母。西王母皆口口相传，不记文字。吾今于世，书而录之。上士悟之，升为天仙；中士修之，南宫列官；下士得之，在世长年。游行三界，升入金门。
   左玄真人曰：学道之士，持诵此经者，即得十天善神，拥护其身。然后玉符保神，金液炼形。形神俱妙，与道合真。
   正一真人曰：人家有此经，悟解之者，灾障不干，众圣护门。神升上界，朝拜高真。功满德就，相感帝君。诵持不退，身腾紫云。
