The Tang Monk in the Journey to the West, the Eight Immortals in the Journey to the East, and Jiang Taigong in the list of deities, all show the role of confidence and perseverance.
The key to rapid and progressive cultivation is to eliminate the enemies, creditors and karmic obstacles that have been harmed by oneself for many years.

Lv Dongbin, originally an immortal in Donghua, was born in the world at the order of the Jade Emperor, and came to the world to spread the Dharma.
Because reincarnation requires various tests.
Later, he became immortals with seven other people and was called the Eight Immortals.
The eight immortals refer to the eight Taoist immortals widely spread among the people.
Wu Yuantai of the Ming Dynasty recorded the names of the eight immortals in his Journey to the East (that is, Journey to the East):
Tieguai Li (Li Xuan/Li Hong), Han Zhongli (Zhong Liquan), Zhang Guolao, Lan Caihe
He Xiangu (He Xiaoyun), Lv Dongbin (Lvyan), Han Xiangzi, Cao Guoshu (Cao Jingxiu).
Lv Dongbin is the founder of Quanzhen Taoism, the mainstream of Taoism in the world, Formerly known as Lu Yan ("Yan" or "Yan" or "Yan" or "Yan"), with the name of Dongbin and the Taoist name of Chunyangzi, was born in Zhaoxianli, Yongle County (now Yongle Town, Ruicheng County, Shanxi Province) on the 14th of the lunar month in the 12th year of Zhengyuan reign of Emperor Dezong of the Tang Dynasty (796). Lv Dongbin (796 --?): the founder of Quanzhen Taoism, the mainstream of Taoism in the world.
Lv Dongbin, formerly known as Lv Yan, was born in Ruicheng County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province.
His father, Lu Rang, was once the governor of Haizhou. His real name is Shaoxian. He was born in Yongle County, Hezhong Prefecture (now Ruicheng, Shanxi Province) at the end of April 14 in the 20th year of Zhenguan reign of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty (646 AD).
He is fond of reading since childhood, and has flooded hundreds of families, but he is not the best scholar in three moves. In the second year of the reign of Empress Wu Zetian (691 AD), Lv Shaoxian, who was 46 years old, went to Chang'an to take the exam and met Zhong Liquan, the celestial envoy, in a wine shop.
Zhong Liquan made him have a beautiful dream of making achievements and fame, becoming a general and a minister, and giving up his wife and son. After waking up, he knew that fame, fame and wealth were all dreams, so he got a thorough understanding, worshipped Zhong Liquan as his teacher, and went to the Zhongnan Mountain to practice Taoism, and changed his name to Yan, the word Dongbin. After that, he traveled all over the mountains and rivers, preached and passed the word. At the age of 53, he returned to Mount Lushan, and at the age of 64, he was the founder of the Shang Dynasty, the Jade Emperor, and was given the name Chunyangzi. Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. On the way to practice, the biggest test is fame and fortune.
Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, he has been known as the "Eight Cave Immortals" together with Tie Guai Li, Han Zhongli, Lan Caihe, Zhang Guolao, He Xiangu, Han Xiangzi and Cao Guouncle. Among the folk beliefs, he is the most famous among the eight immortals and has the most folklore.
The first test of Lv Dongbin's practice: the test of life and death.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. When people reach the realm of understanding cause and effect and dismissing life and death, they enter the advanced realm of practice.
One day, Lv Dongbin returned from a far away place, and suddenly saw that his family had died of illness. Dongbin felt no regret, and thought that everything had cause and effect, and everything was obedient to the law of heaven, but he was only equipped with burial equipment.
Unexpectedly, after a while, the dead were all awake and safe.
It turned out to be a test of Lv Dongbin.
Dongbin is indifferent to the death of his family. Is there no one sexy? No!
Dongbin has realized that life and death are no more than a dream. Life and death are doomed. The eldest husband looks at death as if he is going home. If his relatives leave his soul, he will have his own way. Is it possible that the fate has been exhausted, but he should be buried with all the courtesy. How can he complain?
But before life, life is smooth and death is safe!
Life can be good, and death is good. Therefore, Dongbin Cave depends on the world and knows it is an illusion, so it can handle changes without fear!
The sentient beings are hard to cut with love, the body is hard to give up, the pain is unbearable, life is also bitter, death is also bitter, it is not worth it!
You should learn from Dongbin, put life and death aside, but seek to have no soul in your heart.
Lv Dongbin's second test of practice: the test of daily interests.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. It is a blessing to suffer from losses. If you can suffer from losses and hardships, you must be a man.
Lv Dongbin sold the goods in the market. After negotiating the price, the buyer suddenly turned against him and was willing to pay half the price.
Lv Dongbin was not worried and had nothing to contend with. He sold his goods as usual. Lv Dongbin was not worried about gains and losses.
Looking at the secular world, if the common people encounter this, they will not fight for it, and will never stop, and even lead to murder.
The purpose of this attempt is to persuade people not to worry about gains and losses, but to put down their minds. Credit problems often occur in the lending of shopping malls. Of course, the principle is not to borrow property indiscriminately. Once there is a dispute, you should look down on it and lose money. Don't take it too hard. Even if you are sick, it is not worth it!
Lv Dongbin's third test of practice: the beggar's abuse and anger test.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. The insults and attacks of others are often retribution for many generations, and also the test of Buddha, Bodhisattva and the realization of good gods. Be calm.
When Lv Dongbin went out on New Year's Day, he met a beggar who leaned on the door to ask for alms. So Dongbin immediately gave alms, and the beggar was not tired of asking for alms, and added vicious words to scold him. Dongbin smiled and thanked him again.
This is a test of generosity and humiliation. If you give money and get scolded, you will not be able to bear it. It can be seen that your moral conduct is so much worse than that of Dongbin, and you failed this course! Zhuge Changqing found that many times, others scold you, which is the feeling of eliminating karma for you.
Lv Dongbin's fourth test of practice: the test of releasing life and saving suffering.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. Letting go is a lifesaver. To be able to sacrifice one's life to save one's life and to save one's suffering is to be a Buddha, Bodhisattva and a living immortal.
Lv Dongbin met a hungry tiger in the Shepherd Mountain and ran after the sheep. Dongbin blocked it with himself, and the tiger was released. This test is to test whether people have sacrificed their lives to save the lives of sheep. I'm afraid the world can't do it. However, we should not kill animals, save lives, and practice vegetarianism, which will also move the hungry tiger not to eat meat! Zhuge Changqing believed that the practitioners of Buddhism and Taoism, who do good deeds, accumulate virtue, eat vegetarianism and do good deeds, will have unlimited Buddha Dharma and divine light, and will naturally affect everything.
The fifth test of Lv Dongbin's practice: withstand the test of beauty.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. Beauty, handsome man, lust and wealth are the biggest test, and also the most difficult pass for practitioners. It's easy to cross this barrier. The greatest test for Tang Monk to learn from the West is beauty; Lu Dongbin's biggest test in the East Journey is also beauty.
One day, Lv Dongbin lived in a grass house in the mountains and studied. A woman named Ronghua was peerless and bright. She said she was lost when she came home. She took this opportunity to rest less, and then flirted with her in all ways. She was seduced by beauty. Dongbin was not moved!
Because the world tries its best to seduce women when they are colorless, Kuang Meise will appear automatically. How can we control it!
If you want to be a guest of heaven, you will not lose your temper in front of the fairy!
The world has fallen into the pit of color. Few people can climb up and want to climb to the sky. I don't think so!
Zhuge Changqing believes that the key to improving oneself is to practice diligently at all times.
Lv Dongbin's sixth test of practice: money test.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless.
Lv Dongbin went out and returned home one day. All his possessions were stolen and robbed. Dongbin was calm.
I worked hard to support myself. Suddenly, I saw dozens of gold bars under my hoe. I quickly covered them and got nothing. With greed, the magic barrier will come.
Greed for money and lust is a common disease of people. Lu Zu lost gold without sullen face and pessimism. He hoed down to see gold without greed and joy. He thought it was not earned by my labor, so he didn't take it.
The world should be ashamed of those who like to take advantage of small things. Only by abstaining from greed and not being affected by wealth and lust can monks and Buddhas be together, all living beings! How did you score this question?
Zhuge Changqing believes that a gentleman loves money and takes it in a proper way. After that, it is meaningless. It is also the Chinese tradition to return the money. If you don't move when you see money, you will have a high level.
Lv Dongbin's seventh test of practice: the test of greed.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. Standing in the universe and looking at the world, the world is like an ant kingdom, and all things that can be done are like dreams and bubbles. What is the use of coveting billions of wealth? A common mind is acceptable.
When Lv Dongbin met a copper seller, he bought it and looked at it at home. It was all gold. He visited the seller and returned it.
The world will be ecstatic when buying brass to gold. Thank God, thank that fool. Is there any right to return it? Don't take ill-gotten money. Gentlemen should remember it! Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. Gold is valuable, but kindness is priceless. Good deeds and good deeds must be rewarded. Good deeds and good deeds are the basis of good deeds and good deeds.
Lv Dongbin's eighth test of practice: disaster test.
Zhuge Changqing: Blessed life is limitless. People will encounter all kinds of tests. In fact, it doesn't matter. Everything is cause and effect. All things are created by heart. As long as you are good at moral integrity and positive and progressive, everything will get better and better.
One day, the river was flooded, and Dongbin waded with all the people. At the middle of the river, the wind and waves surged, and all the people were frightened and screamed. Dongbin sat still. This test person's composure is also. A monk must have a calm mind, firm faith, be calm and patient when hit by the storm, or you will be swept away immediately by the chaotic pace and rough waves! People should be cautious.
修路上人生都要经历考验,吕洞宾是我们的学习榜样。

吕洞宾,本是东华上仙,受玉帝之命投胎人间,来人间弘法度人的。
因为投胎人间,需要经历各类考验。
后来和其他七人修炼成仙,并称为八仙。
八仙,是指民间广为流传的道教八位神仙。
明吴元泰《八仙出处东游记》(即《东游记》)记录八仙名号:
铁拐李(李玄/李洪水)、汉钟离(钟离权)、张果老、蓝采和、
何仙姑(何晓云)、吕洞宾(吕岩)、韩湘子、曹国舅(曹景休)。
吕洞宾是天下道教主流全真道祖师,原名吕喦("喦”或作“岩”、“巖”),字洞宾,道号纯阳子,于唐德宗贞元十二载丙子年(796年)农历四月十四生于永乐县招贤里(今山西省芮城县永乐镇),是著名的道教仙人,八仙之一,道教全真派北五祖之一,全真道祖师,钟、吕内丹派、三教合流思想代表人物。
吕洞宾(796年--?):天下道教主流全真道祖师。
吕洞宾原名吕岩,山西省运城市芮城县人。
其父吕让曾任海州刺史。他本名绍先,唐太宗贞观二十年(公元646)四月十四日巳时,出生于河中府永乐县(今山西芮城)。
自幼好读,淹博百家,但三举进士不第。武则天天授二年(公元691),年已四十六岁的吕绍先又去长安应考,在酒肆中遇见上天仙使钟离权。
钟离权让他做了一个建功树名、出将入相、封妻荫子的美梦,醒后方知功名利禄均为梦幻,遂大彻大悟,拜钟离权为师,赴终南山中修道,改名喦,字洞宾。其后遍游山水,传道度人,五十三岁归宗庐山,六十四岁上朝元始、玉皇,赐号纯阳子。诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。修行路上,最大的是名利考验。
唐宋以来,他与铁拐李、汉钟离、蓝采和、张果老、何仙姑、韩湘子、曹国舅并称“八洞神仙”。在民间信仰中,他是八仙中最著名、民间传说最多的一位。
吕洞宾修行第一考验:生死考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。人到了理解因果、看淡生死的境界,即进入修行的高级境界。
一天,吕洞宾自外远归,忽见家人皆病死,洞宾心无悔恨、内心想一切皆有因果、一切顺从天道,但厚备葬具而已。
没想到,不一会,死者皆醒,无恙。
原来只是上天对吕洞宾的考验啊。
洞宾视家人死而不动声色,莫非无人性感情乎?非也!
洞宾已悟大道,生死无非一幻梦,生死有命,大丈夫视死如归,亲人离魂,自有去路,莫非因缘已尽,但尽礼以葬,何能怨尤?
但事生前,生而顺,死而安生死何足惧!
生能修善,死为善仙,故洞宾洞视世情,知为一幻梦,故能处变不惊!
众生以情爱难割,凡体难舍,痛苦不堪,生也苦,死也苦,不值得!
应学洞宾,置生死于度外,但求无魄于心而已矣。
吕洞宾修行第二考验:日常利益口舌考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。吃亏是福,能吃亏、能吃苦,必然大丈夫。
吕洞宾卖货于市场,议定其价后,买者突然反脸,只愿付其半价。
吕洞宾竟然不着急,无所争,照卖其货,吕洞宾不为得失扰心。
放眼看看世俗之间,如果俗人遇此,不争得面红耳赤,绝不干休,甚而酿成凶杀命案。
此试用意在劝人不可患得患失,须放下心,商场之借贷,常发生信用问题,当然财物以不乱借为原则,一旦发生纠纷,则须看淡一些,吃亏赔钱,不要想不开,甚而致病寻短,真是不值得!
吕洞宾修行第三考验:乞丐辱骂嗔怒考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。别人的辱骂、攻击,很多时候是累世因果报应,也很多时候是佛菩萨、善神变现给你的考验。要平常心。
吕洞宾元旦出门,遇乞丐倚门求施,于是洞宾即施与财物,而丐者索取不厌,且加恶语对骂,洞宾再三笑谢。
此试人布施,忍辱之心,如果给钱还要挨骂,早就忍受不了,可见你的道行比洞宾差那么多,这科不及格!诸葛长青发现,很多时候,别人骂你,是为你消业障的感应。
吕洞宾修行第四考验:放生救苦考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。放生就是救命啊。能够舍身救命、救苦救难,当下就是佛菩萨、是活神仙啊。
吕洞宾牧羊山中,遇一饿虎,奔逐羊群,洞宾以己身挡之,虎迺释而去。此试为考人有否牺牲精神,为救羊命而舍身,恐怕世人做不到,然而应该不杀生,救物命,吃素修行,也会感动饥虎不吃肉的!诸葛长青认为,学佛学道的修行者,日常行善积德,吃素行善,自身便有无量佛法、神光出现,自然就会影响万事万物。
吕洞宾修行第五考验:经受美女考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。美女、帅哥、酒色财气是最大考验,也是修行者最难走过的关口。冲过这个关口,一切就轻松。唐僧西天取经最大考验是美女;东游记中吕洞宾最大考验也是美女。
一天,吕洞宾居山中草舍读书,一女容华绝世光艳照人,自言归家迷路,借此少憩,既而百般调弄,美色引诱,洞宾不为所动!
因世人无色即用尽心机引诱女色,况美色自动现前,岂能把持得住!
要成为天上客,不会在仙女面前失态,须炼此定静工夫!
世人尽堕在色坑中,没有几人爬得上来,还想爬到天上,我看甭想了!
诸葛长青认为,时刻精进修行,是提升自己的关键。
吕洞宾修行第六考验:金钱考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。
吕洞宾一日外出,及归,家财尽为盗劫尽,洞宾了无愠色。
躬耕自给,忽锄下见金条数十片,急速掩之,一无所取。贪念一起,魔障即至。
贪财色为人之通病,吕祖失金,面无愠色、心无悲观,锄下见金,意无贪念欢喜之心,自认非我劳力所赚,故不取之。
世人喜好贪小便宜者,该惭愧矣。修道人戒贪,不为财色所动,才能与仙佛为伍,众生们!此题你考几分?
诸葛长青认为,君子爱财,取之有道,过了就毫无意义了。拾金不昧,中华传统也。见财色不动,高境界也。
吕洞宾修行第七考验:贪心考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。站在宇宙看人间,人间犹如蚂蚁王国,一切有为法、如梦幻泡影。贪得亿万财富又有何用?平常心可也。
吕洞宾遇卖铜器者,买之,回家一看,皆为金器,即访问卖主,还之,此试贪也。
购买黄铜变金,世人定欣喜若狂,谢天谢地,感谢那个傻瓜,岂有归还之理?不义之财勿取,君子切记之!诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。黄金有价,善心无价。行善积德必有福报,行善积德是修行福报的根本啊。
吕洞宾修行第八考验:灾难考验。
诸葛长青:福生无量天尊。人会遇到各种考验,实际上无所谓的,一切皆是因果,一切唯心造,只要心善积德、积极精进,一切都会越来越好。
一日,河水泛滥成灾,洞宾与众共涉,至中流,风涛掀涌,众皆畏惧惊叫,洞宾端坐不动。此试人之定力也。修道须有泠静头脑,坚定信念,遇到狂风暴雨打击,不动心性,能忍自安,否则脚步一乱,惊涛骇浪,会立刻将你冲走!世人慎之。
