Basic knowledge of Buddhism: What is Bodhicitta (Figure)

Bodhicitta=the heart of becoming a Buddha=the heart of being enlightened=the heart of great compassion=the heart of seeking the Buddha's way and the heart of all living beings.

On the way of learning Buddhism, we often encounter the words "Bodhi Heart".

What do these three words mean?

Zhuge Changqing believes that these three words can be understood as:

Bodhicitta=the heart of becoming a Buddha=the heart of being enlightened=the heart of great compassion=the heart of seeking the Buddha's way and the heart of all living beings.

To become a Buddha or Bodhisattva, you must first send out Bodhicitta.

The word "Bodhi" of Bodhi Heart is the Sanskrit of ancient India, translated into Chinese, meaning "consciousness", which means becoming Buddha, and Bodhi Heart is the heart of becoming Buddha.

To develop Bodhicitta is to develop the "Avatar Sambhuti", or "Bodhicitta" for short, that is to say, to develop the mind of supreme and equal enlightenment, and to develop the mind of "seeking the Buddha and the Tao and transforming all sentient beings".

The Buddhist sutra "The Great Wisdom Theory" said: "Bodhisattva's initial heart is due to the supreme path. As a Buddha, I am called Bodhicitta."

The Yogi Earth Treatise says that those who first develop Bodhicitta are among the Mahayana Bodhisattvas.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. It is very simple to become a Buddha and Bodhisattva. As long as you send out the Bodhicitta of "seeking the Buddha and the Tao and living beings", at this moment, your Buddha nature has slowly recovered and you can become a Buddha and Bodhisattva. You have entered the Buddha and Bodhisattva sequence.

The theory of Fa Bodhi Heart Sutra said: "The Bodhi Heart is developed by thinking only about the Buddhas, observing the body and suffering, being kind to all living beings and seeking the best results."

Sakyamuni Buddha said in the Huayan Sutra:

Bodhicitta is the seed of all Buddhas and can produce all Buddhas;

Bodhicitta is a good field, which can cultivate all living beings with white and pure Dharma;

Bodhicitta is the earth and can hold all worldly wisdom;

Bodhicitta is pure water, which can wash away all troubles and filth;

Bodhicitta is a strong wind. There are no obstacles in the world;

Bodhicitta is a fire that can burn all evil things and see love;

Bodhicitta is the pure sun, which shines on all living beings;

The bodhicitta is the bright moon, and the white and pure Dharma has been fully realized. ".

We know that Bodhicitta is the beginning of all positive wishes, the basis of Bodhicitta, great compassion and the basis of Bodhisattva.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha, to become a Buddha or Bodhisattva, you must first send out Bodhicitta. This is fundamental.

In the practice of Buddhism, Mahayana Bodhisattva must initially initiate the Great Bodhicitta, and the compassion and wisdom of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are also achieved by the Bodhicitta.

The practice of all dharmas in Buddhism is based on Bodhicitta. No dharmas can leave Bodhicitta. All dharmas speak of right vision for Bodhicitta.

Only by initiating the Great Bodhicitta can the right vision of Buddhism have a place. Without Bodhicitta, the practice of Buddhism will become empty and abstract.

No matter which classic is based on Bodhicitta.

Each Bodhisattva's practice begins with the initiation of Bodhicitta. The difference is only in the manifestation of the wish power, such as the forty-eight wishes of Amitabha, the twelve wishes of the medicine guru, the twelve wishes of Avalokitesvara and the great wishes of the king of Tibet Bodhisattva, and so on. The wish power of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is the manifestation of Bodhicitta.

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha, may everyone who has a chance send out the great wish of "seeking the Buddha's way and saving all sentient beings". Quickly improve the results of practice and promote the achievements of practice. Study hard, make progress every day, strengthen confidence and persevere, and there will be a leap forward. Come on!!

Blessed life is limitless. Confucius, the supreme teacher of Dacheng. Jesus. Mohammed.

All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three generations in ten directions. All immortals in the three realms and ten directions. All sages at all times and in all countries.

Don't do any evil, and do all good. Persistence and responsiveness.

   菩提心=成佛的心=觉悟的心=大慈悲心=上求佛道、下度众生之心。

   学佛路途上，大家经常遇到“菩提心”三个字。

    这三个字什么意思呢？

    诸葛长青认为这三个字可以理解为：

    菩提心=成佛的心=觉悟的心=大慈悲心=上求佛道、下度众生之心。

     要成佛菩萨，就要先发出菩提心。

   菩提心的“菩提”二字，是古印度的梵语，译成汉文的意义为“觉”，即是成佛的意思，菩提心即是成佛的心。

   发菩提心，就发“阿耨多罗三藐三菩提心”，简称“菩提心”，也就是发无上正等正觉之心，发“上求佛道、下化众生”之心。

     佛教经论《大智度论》说：“菩萨初发心，缘无上道，我当作佛，是名菩提心。”

   《瑜伽师地论》谓初发菩提心者，即入大乘菩萨之行列。

    诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛。成为佛菩萨很简单，只要你发出“上求佛道、下度众生”的菩提心，这一瞬间，你的佛性已经慢慢恢复了，可以成为佛菩萨了。你已经进入了佛菩萨序列。   

  《发菩提心经论》说：“依思惟诸佛、观身过患，慈憋众生、求最胜果四缘修观而发菩提心。”

      释迦牟尼佛于《华严经》说：

   菩提心者，则为一切诸佛种子，能生一切诸佛法故；

   菩提心者，则为良田，长养众生白净法故；

   菩提心者，则为大地，能持一切诸世间故；

   菩提心者，则为净水，洗濯一切烦恼垢故；

   菩提心者，则为大风，一切世间无障碍故；

   菩提心者，则为盛火，能烧一切邪见爱故；

   菩提心者，则为净日，普照一切众生类故；

   菩提心者，则为明月，诸白净法悉圆满故”。

   故知菩提心乃一切正愿之始、菩提之根本、大悲及菩萨学之所依。

     诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛，要成为佛菩萨，就要先发出菩提心。这是根本的根本。

   在佛法的修学中，大乘菩萨最初必须发起大菩提心，诸佛菩萨悲智的品行也是靠菩提心来成就。

   佛法中一切法门的修学都是建立在发菩提心的基础上，任何一个法门都不能离开菩提心，一切法门所讲的正见都是为菩提心服务。

   只有发起大菩提心，佛法的正见才会有着落处，离开菩提心，佛法的修学就会变得空洞和抽象。

   不论哪一部经典都立足于菩提心。

   每一位菩萨的修行都是以发菩提心为开始，不同的只在于愿力的体现，如阿弥陀佛的四十八大愿，药师琉璃光如来的十二大愿，观世音菩萨和地藏王菩萨诸大愿等等，诸佛菩萨的愿力都是菩提心的体现。

    诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛，愿每位有缘者都发出“上求佛道、下度众生”的大愿心。迅速提升修行果报，迅速推进修行成绩。好好学习、天天向上，坚定信心、持之以恒，必有飞跃，加油！！

福生无量天尊。大成至圣先师孔子。耶稣。穆罕默德。

十方三世诸佛菩萨。三界十方一切神仙。古今中外一切圣贤。

诸恶莫作，众善奉行。持之以恒、有求必应。
