To practice is to stop evil and do good: to learn Buddhism and Taoism, we should do ten good deeds (figure)
What is practice? Practice is to correct mistakes, stop evil and do good, and achieve good results.
-----Zhuge Changqing
There is no way to disaster or fortune, but people call themselves.
Everything in life is karma.
Good deeds are rewarded with good deeds and evil deeds with evil deeds.
Zhuge Changqing studied the Buddhist culture and found that the "ten good deeds" put forward by Buddhism included the core of practice.
In the process of changing your life and destiny, you should continue to revise yourself.
How to correct it? To stop evil and do good is to do ten good things. Ten good things are:
One is not to kill, two is not to steal, and three is not to commit adultery;
Four are not evil, five are not two tongues, six are not false, seven are not beautiful;
Eight are not greedy, nine are not angry, and ten are not stupid.
Among them, some people summarized the above ten good deeds as "body three, mouth four, and mind five":
The body has three rules: no killing, no stealing, and no lewdness
There are four rules of mouth: no evil mouth, no two tongues, no false words, no fancy words
There are three rules of consciousness: not greedy, not angry, not stupid
So what is the basic content of the ten good karma?
Zhuge Changqing shares the content of the ten good deeds of the predestined, and wishes the predestined to make progress and leap forward:
1. Do not kill animals
Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. If you commit the crime of killing, you can repent more, release more, give more food, recite more Buddhist names, and so on. For details, refer to the "five in one" of Zhuge Changqing's traditional Chinese wisdom to change fate.
To kill is to kill, and life is life. To not kill the lives of all living beings is called not to kill. That is to say, all living beings should be treated without discrimination and should not be killed or harmed. Because Buddhism advocates the equality of Buddha's nature and advocates compassion to save the world, Shizun uses the doctrine of equality and compassion to call for the help of all killed beings, indicating that all living beings have Buddha's nature, so they cannot be killed. Mencius also said, "When you hear its voice, you can't bear to eat its flesh." He did not speak of Buddha's nature, but also out of benevolence and compassion for the killed beings. From this point of view, if you can be merciful and benevolent without killing animals, the world of life can do its best. If you fight against hatred, you can eliminate it. Isn't the world peaceful?
2. Don't steal
Stealing means fraud and theft, and stealing means robbery and plunder. Don't steal and rob others' property. Because all things, the transfer of sovereignty, must be based on justice, not to take, not to take, and to take without merit, are all acts of theft. It is called "benefit" to be able to live and achieve desire, and "righteousness" to be beneficial and appropriate. To know self-interest, we must benefit others. To benefit others is to benefit ourselves. Self-benefit is called "righteousness and benefit". Everyone should act in a righteous and profitable way, economize on daily necessities, support their parents, maintain family life, be happy with their ethics, and be cautious in money exchanges with friends. There will be no theft. The society can be peaceful, and individuals and families can also be happy.
3. Do not commit lewdness
That is, the couple who are officially married shall not commit adultery. If you are not your wife and indulge in lust, you are known as lewdness. Being able to correct the desire between men and women is called not being evil and lewd, that is, being virtuous and keeping good manners. That is to say, after organizing a family, the couple must respect each other as a guest, and can live in harmony and become a happy family without other promiscuous behaviors.
4. Don't talk falsely
Fools who use tricks, cheat people with words, and like to tell lies are called lies. Don't lie is to speak honestly, and don't speak false and deceitful words. If you can stay away from false words, you can be honest and not deceive, and your parents, brothers, relatives, friends, and personal contacts can trust each other, which is really the way to be happy.
5. No two tongues
Not two tongues means not to gossip and not to alienate other people's feelings. When people don't practice oral practice, they often suffer from two tongues: the so-called disease comes from the mouth, and the disaster comes from the mouth. The two tongues of disaster can lead to trouble, trouble, disturb the body and mind, and even use force to hurt people, which is actually the culprit of killing without seeing blood. If I can stay away from two tongues and speak straight, is there any dispute between right and wrong?
6. Not spiteful
Not being vicious means not saying rude and insulting words and not cursing others. Ordinary people often swear and hurt their parents and ancestors for three generations. According to the scripture, "Those who make a bad mouth should be rewarded by animals." Therefore, if you don't make a bad mouth and speak kindly, you can accumulate virtue and become good, and be respected and loved.
7. An inarticulate remark
The so-called beautiful words, that is, flowery words, frivolous and disrespectful words, leading to evil thoughts in life, or making fun of them, speaking casually for fun, are all called beautiful words. Those who say such beautiful words are not only harmful to themselves, but also can harm others. The karma lies in the death of the evil way, and the life of a man will always be despised. Therefore, to say that it is appropriate to etiquette and not to disobey the true and serious words is called "no rhetoric". If you can stay away from beautiful words, you will be honest, polite, dignified and respected.
8. Not greedy
Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. What if the child has a small mind? What should I do if my children are cautious, not generous and greedy for small things? Zhuge Changqing recommends a quick correction method. First, it can lead children to release more lives and do more good deeds; The second is to give food, release life and return carefully. get instant results.
It is called "covetousness" that one's own property is not willing to give to others, and it is called "greed" that one's own property is not willing to give to others. Greedy people pursue the five desires of money, sex, fame, food and sleep. They will create all kinds of crimes if they don't know where to stop. Therefore, they should stay away from covetousness, not covet their own property, nor covet the property of others. They should use the money they earn to support their parents, educate their children, and pay for family expenses. In addition to the poor, sick and lonely, they can give compassion to Tzu Chi, or contribute to social welfare undertakings, which is charity, According to the scripture, "Those who can give up can get rich and noble." But there must be no greed. The Buddha said, "Greed for too much and too little. All kinds of troubles can be eliminated for a while." Life suffers because of greed, and it violates the law and discipline because of greed, endangering other people's society. Buddhism urges people to give up benevolently in order to cure covetousness.
9. Not angry
Anger is when things go wrong, burying hatred in the heart and getting angry in the form. Even an outburst of temper can lead to murder. Ordinary people say, "Burning Merit Forest", which means that no matter how many good deeds a person has done, when he is angry, he will be angry with others, and even use force to fight, and all kinds of misfortunes will happen. Therefore, the merit and virtue of the good deeds he has done will be completely burned by it. Therefore, it is necessary to treat anger with compassion and tolerance, that is, the so-called "patience is a knife above the word. People can't bear the misfortune themselves, and can endure the sword for a while, and then we will know that patience is high.
10. Not stupid
Fools are ignorant, ignorant, ignorant, ignorant, ignorant, unable to distinguish between right and wrong, not believing in the law of cause and effect, stubborn and evil, not believing in right and right, and disorderly. If you can accept the Buddha's education and improve your wisdom, you can introduce correct ideas and be a reasonable and reasonable person. According to the Buddhist scripture, practicing prajna and wisdom to cure fools and keep people away from evil opinions is not stupid.
What if I make a mistake?
Zhuge Changqing said, "People are not saints and sages. Who can make mistakes?"? It is a great thing to change.
No matter what mistakes you make, as long as you correct them, vow to stop evil and do good, everything will be better.
If you commit crimes such as killing, you can repent more, release more life, give more food, recite more Buddhist names, and so on, and return to them to get rid of suffering and happiness immediately and live beyond.
For details, refer to the "five in one" of Zhuge Changqing's traditional Chinese wisdom to change fate.

一不杀生,二不偷盗,三不邪淫;
四不恶口,五不两舌,六不妄语,七不绮语;
