A Buddhist friend gathered some cases of vegetarian health in the world and shared them with the predestined:
The ancients said that vegetarians have light appetite, clear mind, quick brain, healthy and long life, and eternal youth.
1) Li Qingyun, the world's oldest man, is 256 years old. Li Qingyun (1677-1933) lived for 256 years and is the longest vegetarian in the world. At the age of 100, he won a special award from the government for his outstanding achievements in traditional Chinese medicine. At the age of 200, he still went to university to give lectures. He believes that there are three reasons for his health and longevity: one is long-term vegetarian diet, the other is to keep calm and cheerful in his heart, and the third is to use the boiled water for tea all year round. After hearing this news, medical researchers in Britain and France carried out in-depth research on Juqi. 5. There is a charitable factor in doing good, which resonates with the cosmic factor of heaven and earth, and is bound to be rich and auspicious.
6. Doing good deeds can save others. From the law of cause and effect, we will certainly get gratitude from others, so we will live a long life.
7. Do good, whether you have money or not. You can do good at any time. Those with large funds can release children, print scriptures and donate to out-of-school children. You can do good deeds with little money temporarily.
Zhuge Changqing told everyone that as long as you do good deeds, as long as you have the idea of doing good deeds, you will have great merit!
The so-called kindness is known to all. Because of your kindness, you will become outstanding people in the future.
Throughout the ages, those who have achieved great things are those who have good intentions and positive actions. You do a good job of giving food, chanting Buddhist names, helping others, voluntary blood donation, publicizing the knowledge of doing good, helping the elderly to give up their seats, lifting the fallen bicycle, filling the holes in the ground, encouraging others to do well, encouraging others to make progress, and so on, which are all acts of kindness! Will have great merit!
Remember the words of Mr. Zhuge Changqing: for people with little money, "good in heart+good in eyes+good in words+good in deeds" is to do good!

实际上,吃素不仅是吃青菜。
那么,吃素是吃什么素食呢?
诸葛长青认为,所谓的素食可以列出一个公式:
“素食 = 五谷杂粮 + 水果 +
蔬菜”
吃素食的人身体都很健康,容易长寿。

一位佛友荟萃了世界吃素食健康的部分案例,分享给有缘者:
古人说:素食者嗜欲淡,神志清,脑力敏捷,健康长寿,青春永驻。
1)世界第一长寿老人256岁李清云。李清云(1677—1933年)活了256岁,是世界上最长寿的素食者。100岁时,由于他在中医中药方面的杰出成就,获得了政府的特别奖励。200岁时,仍然到大学去讲学。他认为自己健康长寿的原因有三:一是长期素食,二是内心保持平静、开朗,三是常年将拘杞煮水当茶饮。英国、法国的医学科研工作者们听到这一消息后,便对拘杞进行了深入研究。他们发现枸杞中含有一种没见过的维生素,便取名为「维生素X」。也称之为「驻颜维生素」。经动物实验证实,拘杞具有抑制脂肪在纤维内蓄积、促进肝细胞的新生、降低血糖、降低胆固醇等作用。拘杞的「返老还童」作用表现为:可刺激性腺及内分泌腺,增强荷尔蒙的分泌,强化脑细胞和神经细胞的生理功能,可避免人随年龄增长而出现血中积存毒素的现象,从而维持体内各组织的正常功能。
2)世界长寿国95%是终身不食肉者。第二次世界大战前,誉为“长寿人国”的保加利亚,600万人口中,百岁老人有160多人,95%是终身不食肉者。
3)爱因斯坦不吃肉。1921年诺贝尔物理学奖获得者、世界著名的科学家和思想家爱因斯坦是一名素食者。他说:“没有什么能比素食更能改善人的健康和增加人在地球上生存的机会。”
4)娘胎里就吃素的长寿老人许哲居士。自由吃素的现在定居在新加坡许哲居士是胎里素,就是在她妈妈肚子里就开始吃素了,她出生于中国潮州汕头,已经113岁了。她身材瘦小,行动敏捷,耳聪目明,69岁学瑜伽,身材柔韧好得很,101岁亲近佛法。除新加坡外,还在印度尼西亚、泰国、缅甸等国设立了“养老院”和“心连心之家”,救助那些被遗弃的老人、弃妇和儿童。
5)吃素的高僧大德多长寿。佛氏门中,高僧大德长寿者数不胜数。凡长寿者都是吃素、淡泊名利、心地善良、生活有规律。
6)世界马拉松冠军朝鲜人孙基桢一生吃素。十一届奥运会韩国的马拉松运动员孙基桢金牌获得者是一名终生吃素者,活到90多岁高令。他的铜像还树立在柏林。
7)世界游泳冠军莫雷罗斯2岁起吃素。1956年墨尔本奥运会三牌游泳金牌获得者莫雷罗斯,当时他只有17 岁。他从2
岁就开始吃素。这些运动员的实践,充分证明了科学家研究的“素食者在食蔬菜水果的时候,只消耗10%的能量,可以回收90%的能量。而食肉者却要消耗70%的能量,只能回收30%的能量。这样,运动员在进同样量的动物饮食的时候,就要比素食者消耗更多的能量,使之体力和精力容易透支。运动员很清楚这种情况,因为吃素后,他们的体力和爆发力可以发挥到最佳状态。
8)动物世界长寿动物、存量最多的动物都是吃素的。动物世界中,如:骡、马、牛、象、猴等吃素的动物,它们的寿命长、体力和耐力都比较好。而吃肉的动物多数都进了动物园了,自然世界中寥寥无几了。

二、行善 =
心情好。
诸葛长青认为,行善的好处是:
1、行善救助了别人,保护了世界自然,心与天地之心相和谐,于是心情好。
2、行善可以去掉贪嗔痴,使自己迅速出现慈悲心。
3、行善有佛菩萨、神仙护佑,一帆风顺、吉祥如意。
4、心情好,是长寿的第一要素。持续行善心情特好,于是就长寿。
5、行善身上有慈善因子,与天地宇宙因子共振,必然富贵吉祥。
6、行善可以保住别人,从因果规律推出,必然得到别人的感恩,于是长寿。
7、行善,不论有钱无钱都可以做。随时都可以行善。资金多的可以放生、印经书、捐助失学儿童等。临时金钱少,也可以做善事。
诸葛长青告诉大家,只要做好人好事,只要有行善的想法,就已经具备大功德了!
所谓,善心一动,天地皆知。因为你们有善心,未来毕竟成为杰出的人。
古往今来,凡是成就大事业的,都是心有善念,积极作为的人。你们做好平时的施食、念佛号、助人为乐、义务献血、宣传行善知识、帮助老人让座、扶起倒在地上的自行车、填好地上的窟窿、鼓舞别人做好事、激励他人上进等,都是善举!都会会有极大的功德!
记住诸葛长青老师的话:对于资金少的人来说,“心里有善+看人眼善+说话善+多做好事”,就是行善!
