The Ganlu Taste Classic says: "Ten hungry ghosts are happy to eat. At that time, the ten Chatu Buddhas are now praising those who are far away and teaching the records of Bodhi. All Bodhisattvas are happy to love, and all heavenly dragons are each using fragrant flowers, wreaths, and all kinds of tricks and music."

The Sutra of Saving and Pulling out the Flames says: "The secret words recited by the monks, the nuns, the eupsies, and the eupsies are full of good roots. All non-human beings, the Yacha Raksha, and the evil spirits dare not invade."

"The Sutra of Saving the Face" says: "All four people recite this Buddha, which is fresh and clean in color, and has a strong memory of virtue. All non-human beings, many ghosts and so on. The Yacha Raksha, and all hungry ghosts, are afraid of being human, and cannot bear to see it."

"The nectar flavor sutra" says: "If you can hold this sutra in the afterlife, you should know that it is human who has done it and then take 20 kinds of great blessings."

   《甘露味经》云：“若能振发丈夫之人，日日修行。一日施食，一天下饿鬼皆得食喫。多日施食，十方六趣，一切饿鬼尽得饱满。”

   《救面然经》云：“常修净行，具足成就，供养百千俱胝恆河沙数如来功德。”
   《施诸饿鬼经》云：“即如是种种以供养十方一切诸佛无异。”
   《甘露味经》云：“十方饿鬼，欢喜饮食。当尔之时，十方剎土现在诸佛遥讚行者，復与遥授菩提之记。一切菩萨欢喜爱念，一切天龙各各将香花、瓔珞，种种伎乐遥施行者。”
   《救拔焰口经》云：“比丘、比丘尼、优婆塞、优婆夷诵此密言，善根具足。一切非人，夜叉罗剎，诸恶鬼神不敢侵害。”
    《救面然经》云：“诸四眾诵此陀罗尼，顏色鲜洁，威德强记。一切非人，步多鬼等。夜叉罗剎，并诸饿鬼，皆畏是人，心不忍见。”

   《甘露味经》云：“若当来世能持此经，当知是人已为便摄二十种大福德聚。”

   《佛说施饿鬼甘露味大陀罗尼经》里佛说“尔时十方一切六趣饿鬼鬼神悉赴集。瞻仰行者。如见父母。 ”（诸葛长青那些饿鬼看到施食的人，就象见到父母一样，瞻仰施食的人）。
