Today is March 15 in the Gregorian calendar and February 15 in the Chinese calendar.

It is Sakyamuni Buddha's Nirvana Day.

Historical records Buddha is eighty years old. He left the city of the king's house and went north to Pisheli. There was a famine. He only dismissed the people and left Ananda.

Later, the Buddha came to a river in the city of Guanshi and took a bath. After getting on the bank, Ananda laid a bed between two sahara trees. The Buddha rested on his right hand and lay on his side.

That night, a Taoist priest named Subadhra asked for an interview. The Buddha told him about the Eight Rights and accepted him as the last disciple.

At this time, when the Buddha was dying, all his disciples came to visit him. They felt very sad. The Buddha gave them the final instructions:

"After my death, you should be your teacher of the precepts and precepts you said before, and precepts and precepts are your teachers!"

Zhuge Changqing: Amitabha. The Buddha reminded people to follow the Buddhist law and precepts.

After the Buddha's command, he lay on his right flank at midnight on February 15 in 543 BC and entered the Great Nirvana.

The city leader and the disciple of the Buddha who held the corpse were cremated with the most solemn ceremony; The Buddhist relics were invited by eight city leaders of Magadha and Sakya to build pagodas for worship. Until now, the stupa still shines on the world.

Zhuge Changqing is grateful to the Buddha Sakyamuni for leaving the infinite wisdom magic weapon to mankind!

阿弥陀佛。感恩释迦牟尼佛给人类留下的无量智慧。

  今天是2014年阳历3月15日，农历2月15日。

  是释迦牟尼佛涅槃日。

  历史记载....佛陀年高八十。他离开王舍城，北行到毗舍离城，适逢饥馑，他惟有遣散了大众，只留下阿难陀。

  后来，佛陀来到拘尸那城的一条河流，洗了澡，上岸后在两棵娑罗树的中间，由阿难陀铺设了睡床，佛陀枕着右手，侧身而卧。

  这一晚，有一个外道名叫须跋陀罗求见，佛陀向他说了八正道法，收了他为最后的弟子。

　　这时，佛陀在弥留之际，众弟子到来探望，心中感到非常悲痛，佛陀便向他们作出最后的遗训：

　　“我灭度后，你们要以往所说的言教和戒律为师，言教和戒律是你们的导师！”

  诸葛长青：阿弥陀佛。佛祖提醒人们要以佛法和戒律为指引。

　　佛陀吩咐完毕，就在西元前五四三年的二月十五日夜半，右胁而卧，入大涅槃了。

　　拘尸那城城主和佛陀的弟子，用最隆重的礼节，为他举行火化；舍利则由摩揭陀国和释迦族的八位城主请去建塔供奉。直到现今，舍利塔还在照耀人间。

   诸葛长青感恩佛祖释迦牟尼佛给人类留下无量智慧法宝！
