Food Giving Induction: Why do you dream of boats, trains, cars and planes?施食感应:为何梦到船、火车、汽车、飞机?

Giving food is said by the Buddha himself, Shakyamuni Buddha, to be available to all who have a good heart.

---- Zhuge Changqing

To give food is to rescue living beings, to dissolve karmic obstacles, to transcend debtors, and to harmonise the three realms, with great merit.

Amitabha Buddha. Giving food is amazing and incredible. Continuing to give food is a great blessing, rich and auspicious.

To give food, follow the rituals. For details, please refer to Zhuge Changqing's Sina blog post on the Food Giving Ritual.

Many people have left comments on Zhuge Changqing's blog saying that after each feeding, they would dream of boats, trains, cars and planes.

What is the meaning of dreaming of boats, trains, cars and planes after giving food?

According to Zhuge Changqing, dreams of boats, trains, automobiles and aeroplanes portend two things.

One, dreaming of "boats, trains, cars and planes" symbolises dreaming of the Buddha's ferry boat.

Second, dreams of "boats, trains, automobiles and aeroplanes" have two meanings.

One is to show that they have given food to help many living beings, and the other is to remind them to promote Buddhism more often and to help those who have a destiny.

A Buddhist food giver, "Yang Yang", also had a dream about a boat and left a message on Mr. Zhuge Changqing's Sina blog about her dream.

Hello, Mr. Zhuge Changqing.

  Amitabha Buddha.

Hello teacher, I have been giving food for a while and have had many dreams.

Now I have a few dreams that I would like to ask you to interpret.

Salutations to you, teacher! Amitabha Buddha! Amitabha Buddha

  1. I dreamt that I saw my junior high school sister, who was on a sports team when I was at school. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was taking a few players to earn some money. I said, "You clean the lowest area and I'll clean the top one. When I was cleaning the boat, one person wouldn't let me clean it, saying that it didn't need to be clean and that he was messing with it. I was very angry at that time, and I told the person who was messing with it.

I dreamt that the shoes my husband and mother-in-law had bought were broken. My husband said he could just sew them up.

I dreamed that I, my fourth and fifth sisters, and my daughter went to the mountain to take pictures together, because it was winter and there was no scenery. Afterwards, my fourth sister said, "Let's go home," and we went down the hill and went home.

In my dream, I went back to my high school and had a party. A female classmate was the MC and said in my dream that I was going to dance the ballet.

A Buddhist food giver, "Yang Yang"

Teacher Zhuge Changqing replied.

  Amitabha Buddha.

  Very good dream.

  1. I dreamt there was a big, big boat ---- Amitabha. Very good, a boat = a ferry boat. It is an omen that your almsgiving has saved many living beings, and at the same time reminds you to learn to spread the Dharma to others, and continue to increase your efforts to spread the Dharma to those who have a destiny in the next step.

  2. Dreaming that the shoes my husband and mother-in-law bought are broken ----- indicates that they have unjust debtors coming to the door to collect their debts and call for a return.

  3. I dreamed that when I walked to the top of a mountain I saw another mountain next to the top full of trees with pink flowers ..... Suddenly it was dark and the sky was full of stars, the stars seemed to be changing into various shapes and then streaking across the sky like a meteor shower which was particularly beautiful ------ Very good, an omen that you will have great merit in giving food and will be blessed by the Buddha and Bodhisattvas and will have great blessings and fruits in the future. What you see is the holy realm of the Buddha and the heavenly realm.

  4. In my dream, I went back to my high school for a gala and I had to dance ballet ...... Many, many people applauded me and said I danced well ------ augurs well for your future wealth and good fortune, soaring career and help from noble people, it also augurs that your food giving has helped many people with great merit and virtue.

  5. You are a beginner, read more about the basics of Buddhism and Taoism, and read more of your teacher's blog posts to enlighten your wisdom.

Doing good deeds and accumulating virtue will bring you blessings.

Have faith and perseverance, go for it.

Zhuge Changqing wishes all those who have the good fortune to honour their parents, do good deeds, give food, and donate scriptures for printing, great fortune and good fortune.

Zhuge Changqing suggests that beginners can do the following.

Firstly, read the food-giving ritual (written version) a few times. Familiarise yourself with the basic concepts, the basic content of the alms giving.

We suggest that you, copy or print it out for easy understanding.

Those who are lucky enough to have a mobile phone can read it on their phones.

Zhuge Changqing recommends that those who are lucky enough to be able to do so first watch the overall video a few times.

Then focus on the "Part 3: Complete demonstration of Zhuge Changqing's 15-step food-giving ritual" and study it against it. Prepare to start giving the food.

Zhuge Changqing teaches a quick way for those who wish to study the video on giving food ----

Firstly, familiarise yourself with the video version of the almsgiving ritual.

Secondly, focus on the third part of the almsgiving ritual video.

Third, prepare your own cup, water and millet and place them on the table.

Fourthly, play the "Part 3" food giving demonstration directly and simulate it for yourself.

Fifthly, after a few simulations, you will soon learn how to give food.

What are the acts of abstaining from killing and releasing

 戒杀与放生的行为包括哪些

 1. Do not kill a living being with your own hands.

  2. Do not abet others to kill.

  3. Do not help others to kill.

  4. Abstain from eating meat.

  5. Do not engage in trades related to killing.

6Whenever there is worship, regardless of what is being worshipped, use vegetarian dishes, flowers and fruit, not animal gifts.

  7. If you see someone killing a human being, you should discourage them or buy the animal to be slaughtered with money and release it. If this does not work, or if the person does not sell the animal, then you should have compassion for the slaughtered animal, and even better if you can recite the Buddha's name or mantra for it.

  8. Do not abuse the animal.

9Other actions that are contrary to killing.

  10. Abstain from killing and releasing animals yourself, and advise others to do the same.
