Teacher Zhuge Changqing answers:

This problem is a question that many people are questioning, and it is also a problem that puzzles many liberators. Because Mr. Zhuge Changqing is very busy, he hasn't been able to reply. It is also a mature opportunity to answer this question alone today.

Amitabha! Saving animals is saving lives.

Zhuge Changqing believes that release has three functions:

First, it saved lives and directly prevented them from killing.

The second is to convert the three of them and plant the seeds of becoming a Buddha and entering the good way. The Buddha said, "Once you have the ear root, you will always be the seed of the way.".

The third is to resolve the karma for oneself, overcome the grievances and creditors, and accumulate good fortune.

Sakyamuni Buddha, the Buddha, showed us the amazing secret of the six paths of reincarnation.

Buddha said that everyone can easily reincarnate in the six paths because of greed, hatred and ignorance. Six paths: one day path, two Shura paths, three human paths, four animal paths, five hungry ghost paths, and six hell paths.

The One-day Way, the Two-Shura Way and the Three-member Way belong to the good way. Generally, only those who have a large fortune can be reincarnated.

The four animal ways, the five hungry ghost ways, and the six hell ways belong to the evil ways, which are generally the reincarnation ways that have done all kinds of crimes.

If you can do good deeds and accumulate virtue and continue to make progress, you can go beyond the six paths and enter the Buddha world.

The Fahua Sutra said: "The six ways of life and death are interesting to all living beings."

The Buddhist Sutra "Samadhi Sutra of Viewing Buddha" contains: "The six pleasures of reincarnation are like the wheel of fire." All sentient beings have reincarnated in the six paths since the beginning. If good deeds are rewarded, such as heaven and man; If evil karma is finally rewarded, such as animals, hungry ghosts, and hell.

The Ten Kinds of Karma Tao Sutra: "All sentient beings have different thoughts, so do their karma. Therefore, there is a rotation of interests."

Huayan Sutra: "All sentient beings in the nirvana dharma world are present only by heart and changed only by consciousness."

Animals, birds, fish and so on have been reborn into three evil ways because they have done evil things.

They are very poor. They can't speak. They have no chance to hear the Dharma. They can only desperately find food. They can only be forced to run around to escape people's killing.

However, they themselves are reincarnated with people, and some of them are predestined.

We saved him on behalf of the Buddha, Bodhisattva and the good god to help them, so that they have the opportunity to hear the Buddha dharma, have the opportunity to avoid killing, quickly get out of reincarnation, and have the opportunity to enter the good way or the fairyland or the Buddha world.

Buddha Sakyamuni said personally that he had once been the king of deer.

Buddha used to reincarnate. People in the world are like this.

So saving the lives of birds and fish is actually saving a person's life.

In particular, give him three converts, and they will have a chance to reincarnate and become human beings. Maybe what you are saving is the rebirth of your fated relatives.

There is a good reward for releasing life, and a bad reward for killing life.

Saving one person's life is better than building a seven-level pagoda.

We only do good deeds and don't do evil deeds, which is the great blessing of life.

Zhuge Changqing gives you a metaphor:

Like human beings, there are good people and bad people. We can't stop learning from Lei Feng just because there are bad people; You can't be bad because there are bad people, right?

It's like you did a good job of cleaning up the garbage on the ground, but someone later threw the garbage. We can't stop cleaning because someone litters, right?

Therefore, whether to release life and do good or to do evil and create karma depends on one's mind.

Everyone has different causes and effects.

Buddha Sakyamuni said, "Good will be rewarded and evil will be rewarded.".

Tai Shanglaojun said, "There is no way to disaster or good fortune. Only people can call themselves.".

Confucius said: to govern with virtue, for example, the North Star, where the gentleman lives and the stars arch.

Those who set free and do good will have the blessings of health, longevity, wealth and auspiciousness.

Zhuge Changqing believed that retribution was not satisfactory at all. Let's do our good deeds. Others don't need to be considered. Let cause and effect prove it.

  比如我们买鱼鸟放，他们就会抓更多的鱼鸟来卖。

  这样总体不是一样吗？甚至可能变本加厉，怎么看待这个问题呢？

             一位对放生有疑问的有缘者

诸葛长青老师解答：

  这个问题，是很多人都在疑问的问题、也是困扰很多放生者的问题。由于诸葛长青老师很忙，一直没来的及答复。也是机缘成熟，今日单独解答这个问题。

  阿弥陀佛，救助动物就是救命啊。

  诸葛长青认为，放生有三个作用：

  一是救了生命，直接使他们避免杀戮。

  二是给他们三皈依，种下成佛、进入善道的种子，佛说：“一历耳根，永为道种”。

  三是为自己化解业障、超度冤亲债主，积累福报。

  佛祖释迦牟尼佛，给我们指出六道轮回的惊人秘密。

  佛祖说，每个人由于贪嗔痴，很容易在六道中轮回。六道者：一天道，二修罗道，三人间道，四畜生道，五饿鬼道，六地狱道。

   一天道、二修罗道、三人间道，这三道属于善道，一般是福报较大的才可以投胎这三道。

  四畜生道、五饿鬼道、六地狱道，这三道属于恶道，一般是做过各类罪业的投胎这三道。

  如果能够行善积德、持续精进，就可以超越六道，进入佛界。

   《法华经》说:“六道众生生死所趣。”

  佛经《观佛三昧经》载:“轮回六趣，如旋火轮。”一切众生从无始以来，即已在六道中轮回不息。若造善业终得乐报，如天、人二道;若造恶业终得苦报，如畜生、饿鬼、地狱。

  《十善业道经》：“一切众生心想异故，造业亦异，由是故有诸趣轮转。”

  《华严经》：“虚空法界一切众生，唯心所现，唯识所变。”

  动物、鸟类、鱼类等，因为曾经做过恶事，所以投胎成三恶道中。

  他们很可怜啊，不会说话，没有机会听闻佛法，只能拼命的寻找食物，只能被迫奔波逃避人们的捕杀。

  然而，他们本身就是和人们相互轮回、有些是我们的累世有缘啊。

  我们救了他，就是代表佛菩萨、善神救助他们，使他们有机会听闻佛法、有机会避免捕杀，迅速脱离轮回，有机会进入善道或者仙界、佛界。

  佛祖释迦牟尼佛亲自说，他有一世曾经做过鹿王呢。

  佛祖当年曾经轮回，人间的人都是这样啊。

  所以，救了鸟类鱼类等生命，实际上就是挽救了一个人生命。

  尤其是给他三皈依，他们就有机会投胎做人，做了人或许会做更多善事。或许你救助的就是你累劫的有缘人投胎啊。

  放生有放生的福报，杀生又杀生的恶报。

  救人一命胜造七级浮屠。

  我们只做善事，不要作恶事，就是人生大福报啊。

  诸葛长青给你打个比喻：

  就像人类，有好人、有坏人，总不能因为有坏人，我们就不学雷锋了；总不能因为有坏人，所以就去做坏人，对不对？

  就像你做了清扫地面垃圾的好事，但是有人随后又扔垃圾。我们总不能因为有人乱扔垃圾、就不做打扫卫生的好事了，对不对？

  所以，放生行善还是作恶造业，都在人的一念之间啊。

  每个人的因果不同啊。

  佛祖释迦牟尼佛说：善有善报、恶有恶报。

  太上老君说：祸福无门、惟人自召。

  孔子说：为政以德，譬若北辰，君子居其所而众星拱之。

  放生行善的，自有健康长寿、富贵吉祥的福报。

  诸葛长青认为，因果报应，丝毫不爽。我们做我们的善事吧。其他的不需要考虑。让因果来证明吧。
